Rho had like her first few years on earth alone, scared of what the inhabitants of the planet may react to the sight of her. Would they hate her at first sight or befriend her the first chance they get, or perhaps just ignore her like she was nothing. Her thoughts haunted her everyday so she lived alone, away from any living thing, hiding from the Diamonds. The cave that she had called home for a year now was cozy and warm. It kept the harsh weather and environment at bay and she like happy but fear seemed to hang over her every second of the day. She wanted to learn, she wanted to see what human were like, she wanted to live without fear, she wanted to be free. She knew there was a human town not to far from her, so close that she could see it from her cave. She longed to go there but something always stopped her. There was always a risk of her leaving to adventure but she wanted to go. Today was that day. Rho had been training to protect herself and she felt she was ready for anything. She took a deep breath as she took her first step out of her home and before she could take another step she froze. What if she was found? She would be shattered for sure, or if she hurt a human? She couldn't live with herself. She was broken from her thoughts by a soft high pitched humming. She turned to see one of her wisps had decided to make an appearance. The soft light warmed her cheek as it gently nudge her in the opposite direction of the cave.
"B... But if I'm caught... I'll be..." Rho began to trip over her own words, the fear had began to take over. If she did something wrong bad things will happen. But her wisp just hummed again and nudged her again. Shortly after the other 2 wisps joined in, encouraging her to go. She fixed, and flattened any wrinkles in her burgundy ballet dress that seemed to grow just a little brighter in the sunlight, tapping her ballet slippers to make sure they were on secure she finally made up her mind. She sighed. "I'll... do it." Her wisps glowed a bit brighter as she finally agreed, following her as she began her trip.
Shortly after Rho had arrived at the small town. She stayed to the alleyways, keeping her distance. She watched as the human interacted with each other. They seemed happy, safe, no fear to be found. They didn't know what doom was coming for them and that was a blessing all in its own. She wished she was as ignorant as the humans, to live without fear, to be free. After many hours of watching from the shadows and noticing the sun was beginning to set, she noticed a light house in the distance. She waited until the streets were clear of any life and made her way across town, towards the light house. By the time she made it there is was already dark. The only light was from the moon itself and her wisps that still danced around her calmly.
Her hand rested on the base of the structure as she looked across the moonlight kissed ocean. it was truly a sight to behold. She had been locked away for so many years, being pushed and pulled like a puppet, performing for children. Over and Over. She shut her eyes to the awful memories that still plagued her mind. She shook her head before returning to the ocean, loosing herself in her own thoughts. She hadn't noticed that she had began to sing. There were no lyrics but only a lullaby like medley that seemed to catch the wind.
