Pyrope was losing ground swiftly, sacrificing it in order to keep her defense up. It was clear she was losing, but she wouldn't make it easy. She continued blocking and dodging as best as she could, suffering more than a few blows, but eventually she established a pattern. She couldn't make any headway smashing holograms, but the real gem... He train of thought was broken by the wounded gem, " "Why... does i-it feel.... like the wor...world is ending..."" Her heart, if she had one, skipped a beat. She looked down at her own cracked gem, hesitating for no longer than a second. Again she was interrupted as the real Fuscute seemingly took advantage of her brief hesitation, leaping and plunging his blades into her back. She arched her back and screamed in pain, "Get away from her!" She threw her body with all her weight, trying to throw the gem as far away as possible. The weight of the gem, added with his momentum and her pushing with all her strength forced her to the ground.
She laid there on her back, her strength seemed to leave her. She attempted to pull herself up, but only managed to lift herself a couple inches before calling back onto the ground. She mentally berated herself for being so careless, she could have protected herself better had she not been so careless with her abilities. With the last of her strength she raised her arms to protect her cracked gem, unable to do much else. She just laid there, vulnerable to any attack and only a hit away from poofing.
Varis sighed.... it was clear his words fell on deaf ears, before the gem had vanished he couldn't help but think of why this gem seemed familiar... when it hit him. So long ago that gem had crashed onto Earth, had holo-gems like the one fighting and didn't talk much... he had pointed a blaster at Varis more then once. Why was he trying to help him? This also wasn't helping him at all!
What was the gems name!? "Uh... Fu... ugh..." He was having a hard time remembering the gems name when he saw Pyrope getting stabbed by the green gem! "STOP IT RIGHT NOW!" He yelled as loud as he could and trying to stand only to drop down onto his face. Grunting as his projection skipped and fractured here and there, he was pulling himself towards the fallen gem that had chased him, he wanted to try and talk again but he was growing very tired... he just wanted everything to stop. It was easy to see just from his body language that he was trying to stop the fight.

Fuscite stood above the defeated red gem. Leaping down, he nonchalantly kicked the red gem in the face as he walked over to Variscite, his armor changing colors once more, starting to return to it's original green color. Kneeling down beside Variscite, the old gem looked at the cracked gem on Variscite's nape. A Holo-Fuscite appeared and shoved it's blades into the red gem after kicking it's face multiple times, poofing her. The hologram then picked up the two gems and brought them over to where Fuscite was, holding them behind the old explorer. He did not like what he saw. "Variscite. The aggressor is... Dealt with." The hologram leaped up to where the the red gem ha leaped down from earlier, and dropped them off up there before dissipating. "You are... In no condition to move."
Pyrope watched as she was helpless, unable to defend herself from this gem. She knew better than to plead for mercy, but still she stared at him before he literally kicked her while she was down. Her head fell limp, turned towards Variscite as she watched him beg for some sort of peace between them, even as he was glitching himself. Why? She cracked his gem, nearly killing him. By all means he should be happy that his attacker was defeated. But still- Fuscite's hologram began its brutal beating, kicking her around to the point even her arms lowered from her gem. Her eyes glazed over, motionless save for a wince as his blades entered her again. She almost managed to mumble something before poofing into two separate gems. Both were triangular shape, but one was smaller and cracked. She was at the mercy of this unknown gem, both of them.
Varis watched in horror as he watch... Fuscite! That was the gems name... he watched as... Fuscite beat this gem while she was already down. "Why?! I dont understand... why is he doing this?!" He just couldn't understand... maybe it was his cracked gem that was screwing with his head but... he knew this wasn't right! "F-Fuscite St-" He did it... he stabbed the gem! She had poofed leaving... two gems? Was she a fusion?
He saw the Holo-gram trying to take the gems away and he lunged out along the ground grabbing them with both hands pulling them under his chest... he could feel the crack in one as he grabbed it. "W-why did you d-do th... agh...." His form glitched hard... everything hurt but he didn't want to let Fuscite do anything to these gems. He was forcing his face into the ground to try and focus. "We... we need to g-get to the Tem-Temple Fuscite..." He was struggling to speak but he knew they had to be taken to the Temple... that fountain was the only thing that Varis knew could heal gems... maybe it will fix whats wrong with him.

Fuscite stepped back as Variscite lunged forward suddenly, grabbing the aggressor's...gems? Separately. Two gems? What? His attention was diverted to the injured Variscite, who was asking him a question. Picking up the injured gem once again, this time being more careful, Fuscite answered. "That...Those?... Gems assaulted... You." He paused. "I... Saved...you. You are... The first gem I met... On this rock. I will... Not let anyone... Mess with you." When Variscite had spoken of a gem temple, he nodded and began dashing off towards the nearest warp pad, sprinting up the wall and out of the hole. The old gem held Variscite so that his hand covered the cracked gemstone, protecting it from further harm. "Almost... There." He spoke to Variscite as the warp pad appeared from around the corner.
