Aqua stood at the top of the spire, shivering slightly at the ocean breeze. Tears fell down her face, joining the waters below. It was ironic that the very place that she was born from would also be the place that she died. Below the spire was a single Injector, the one that spawned Aqua alone. As she looked up at the glitter freeze that was the night sky, she felt a pang of anguished sorrow, but at the same time she also felt strangely happy; relieved. Her troubles would finally be over. No more loneliness, no more heartache. Staring up at the stars, Aqua wondered if the fragments of her gem would join them. With a final sigh, she turned to the figure that was her executioner. "Let's get this over with," Aquamarine said.
(Whoever is going to join, you're the figure. You have my complete permission to kill Aqua, that's the point of this)
There stood Yellow Amber, ball in hand, "Well, now. What do we have here?" He looked down at Aqua and approached them, "Some Earth gem, probably not with the Crystal Gems. Still a liability." He stopped standing directly above them, "You an' me are gonna' have a quick chat, y'hear?" He growls, a hand on his hip, he tilts his head to the side and looks around, nobody close by enough to hear what was about to conspire, "Yer gonna' tell me about the rebel group known as the Crystal Gems an' perhaps I'll consider lettin' off the chain." He offers Aqua, chances are she'd run to the rebels and tell them he was about and hunting for them either way, so she'd need to be silenced.
Aqua laughed lightly, shaking her head. "I don't know anything, sir," she said. "I don't know anybody, let alone some rebels." Aqua felt slightly irritated. She had been prepared for an execution, not an interrogation. Hell, she even sat like one waiting for the guillotine, kneeled on the ground, looking upwards, the gem on her throat vulnerably exposed. "If you're gonna kill me, I'd suggest you be quick about it," she snapped. Aqua wasn't usually one to have a temper, but she was losing patience. Whoever these rebels were, she could care less about them. Why would Aqua defend the Earth, which had nothing for her? Why defend a planet that felt more like a prison?! Aqua glared at the Gem defiantly, daring him to shatter her.
Yellow Amber grinned, "Would'a considered lettin' you off the chain, but now I've gotta break you off, I see." He grins as the ball in his hand starts spinning faster and faster. This made Yellow Amber sick to his stomach, he always let others handle the executing rather himself, he was just never cut out for it. But today, of all days, he was stuck on such a duty, "Nyo-h'oh!" He cracks a wide, toothy grin as his ball is spinning at dangerous speeds now. He approaches Aqua and reels back, and thrusts the drill-like ball forward into her throat. Shutting his eyes last second, he wanted to apologize, he wish he could. But the words wouldn't come out, everything happened too quickly.
Aqua's eyes widened as her gem cracked, her silver irises fading quickly to white. Her jaw dropped, and she let out a shriek of anguish. Her body jolted as her gem finally shattered, her form briefly glitching as she fell back. Her eyes darted around wildly, but she saw nothing, only the Gem before her. Aqua felt so... Cold. Is this what death was like? Like the cold breeze that warns the earth of the coming winter? Aqua smiled softly at her executioner. "Th-thank you," she whispered. The cold was beginning to fade now, becoming farther away. Aqua could no longer see the Gem. She was floating away, looking down at her own dissipating body. "This is my final goodbye," the trembling lips murmured. Aquamarine had said her last words. Satisfied, Aquamarine turned away from the vanishing form. She floated away, becoming another bright, glittering blue star in the black sky...
Yellow Amber took off his hat, and placed it on his chest and had a moment of silence. His eyes glazed over a bit. He held back tears and he just stood there for some time, he felt nothing but immense guilt which faded to numbness. He put his hat back on eventually and looked around, he kneeled down and picked up a shard of the broken gem and just looked at it for a moment, this is what they wanted by the sound of it, but Yellow Amber felt like it was too much, even for himself. He gripped the shard and placed it into his pocket, "I'm sorry." He whispered, standing up straight again and walking away with his head hung low.

Others on earth are remaining aligned to Homeworld though despite the isolation of Earth from Homeworld
