A serene sprawling meadow, stretched out for miles in every direction, at a distant glance, it could be mistaken for any other temperate meadow, full of lush grass, shrubs and flowers, with white butterflies mingling lazily among the plant life in the warm sun shine. However, if the observer were to put in a bit more effort, they might notice a strange pyramidal structure in the middle of the field, with a winding path leading to a hexagonal crystalline pad a mile or so off..... oh AND the plant life is far from typical, the strawberries are the size of watermelons or great big pumpkins!
On the warp pad, a pillar of light appears with a loud magical chime as a figure travels in on a planetary warp stream. As the light stream dissipates, a traveler is left standing on the raised hexagonal surface, a greyish plum gem with dark iridescent hair, and an over all stalwart demeanor, steps off the pad and onto the gravel path, pausing to take in the bizarre scenery all around her. "Woowwwwww! Ive never seen plant life like this anywhere else on earth that I've visited" she remarks to herself, "I'm no exobotanist, but it must have been Gem Magic that made these fruits grow so big.. they should be smaller than the palm of my hand! Maybe it has something to do with the missing Crystal Gem leader, Rose Quartz. She had a knack for organic life, plants in particular if I recall the chatter correctly.."
Carbide darkens her visor slightly against the bright sun and lack of shade, and sets off down the path towards the strange pyramidal structure in the distance.."Not too sure what I expect to find around here, but I can't leave this area nu-investigated, if I want to better understand these Crystal Gem types, and what Home World was up to on this planet, aside from Kindergartening efforts.."
She felt rather exposed, being far more at home with more.. terrain.. to use to her advantage, but her overtuned senses weren't picking up anything distinctly hazardous in the area, but you could never really guarantee you were alone on this planet it seemed.
