"Stupid old Gem tech..." Bumble Bee Jasper growled as she fumbled with some controls.
Bumble Bee sat down, gritting her teeth. She was a gladiator, one of Home World's best fighters. She wasn't made to manage technology. She had been sent to Earth to figure out why communications had been lost, but it was actually for her crew to deal with, along with documenting Bee's exploits on Earth. But now she had no crew, no ship, and no way to contact Home World. In the blink of an eye, she had become stranded...
"I-I'm t-telling you, w-we need to land n-near the Communication Hub!" Orgonite insisted.
"I say we land in the Kindergarden!" Bee snarled, her arms folded.
"B-but, the mission..." Orgonite stammered.
"Was to document me, right?!" Bee snapped.
"W-well, th-that was p-part of it..."
"There are Gems there. Corrupted Gems," Bee said. "I'll be seen as a God when Home World watches me take down those beasts. We land in the Kindergarden."
"But Yellow Diamond ordered-" a Bronze Pearl began to argue, but Bee suddenly grabbed her by her gemstone, ruthlessly ripping it out of her body before crushing it.
The Pearl's form glitched before vanishing. The crew stood in silence, shocked and horrified.
"I don't have to listen to a common Pearl," Bee said with a sneer, then she turned to her crew. "We land in the Kindergarden."
"No," Orgonite said coldly. "After we fix the Hub, we are reporting this to Yellow Diamond."
That night, something streaked across the sky. It was a ship, broken by a raging Gem, the crushed gemstones of her crew inside.
Bee reflected on this. She didn't feel one bit of remorse for her crew, rather dismay that they couldn't fix the Hub. So Bee sat as she figured out what to do.
