Sunset. Few clouds were on the sky, a clear day. A warm breeze swept by Beach City, signifying the warm season. Up high in the skies were Tiger, flying with the use of her anti gravitational boots. She admired the many colors of the sky that was spread by the nearby star. Quite a lucky planet, not being too close to the star to burn and not being too far away to freeze. Just perfect for organic life. She didn't often come across a green and blue planet like this. Usually they were red due to the lava and warmth, or purple because of the billions of bacteria. She spotted something interesting among the wildlife. Buildings? Lighting? Had a sentient species developed here? They were far behind gem technology.. But it did peak her interest. Perhaps she could find materials to upgrade this wooden crossbow of hers.
Slowly dropping altitude, Tiger was closer to the small little town by the beach. There was an interesting cliff nearby, with a building that was spewing out light. Possibly a beacon of sorts. She would have to check that out later. Landing carefully in the middle of the streets, she looked around herself. Rock roads, rock buildings. At least they knew how to make glass. There was nobody but her on the streets though, and she was curious to see how the species looked like. The surroundings strangely fit gems in terms of size, Tiger being glad that they weren't a tall species. Perhaps this was the "humans" that Bloodstone and Yellow Peridot had talked about?
Walking towards a dark and empty building and looking through the window, she was surprised on how unprepared this town was for battle. No guns, no lasers, no forcefields. It struck her that maybe this species lived in harmony. What a life, no conflict at all. Maybe this planet wasn't the worst one to be stuck on. Yellow Peridot apparently had a ship, but due to her turning into.. whatever it was, that wasn't an option. Tiger sighed, continuing to walk through the empty streets. She watched as the close star was about to hit the horizon, it's image mirroring in the water. Beautiful.
Searching to what appeared to be trash containers, she was able to find a discarded crossbow much more professional than hers. It was slightly broken, but could easily be fixed. It used metal and what appeared to be some sort of plastic, even having a scope at that. She managed to find some fitting arrows in another container. What a lucky day. "No need of this garbage anymore." Tiger stated as she threw her wooden crossbow into one of the containers. Among the new crossbow she had also found a backpack, which was old and dirty, but usable. She collected various of broken electronics found scattered, and any other resources she came by. She would need to not only study the technology of this planet, but also have some herself if she was going to stay here for long.
