Tucked away on one of the many cliffs of the primary Kindergarten lay a small ramshackle hut made from all types of material. Of course it had improved considerably as of late, now made out of proper lumber and pieces of riveted metal sheets. The building resembled a tiki hut with walls, a rather simple wooden door hanging loosely in the doorway. Inside was a small blue gem, quietly going about his day around the house. Currently he was using a portable water heater (of course powered by a simple generator sitting in the corner of the room) pouring himself a cup of tea. This was his escape away from everything, his little paradise away from town. And he was a mess.
For the past few days he had been traveling with his friends, making sure he was never alone. Of course he couldn't be protected 24/7, but he still felt uneasy being alone. After the attempt made on him by an unknown gem and their army of robots, he no longer felt safe on his own. He sat down at a small round table in the center of the house, taking a sip from his cup. He wasn't much of a tea or coffee drinker, but supposedly it helped calm the nerves. Not that it seemed to help him, he was on his fourth cup and his hands were still shaking, making a clattering noise as his cup hit the table whenever he picked it up.
He turned quickly to look out one of the two windows facing either side of the walls, was that movement? No, just a crumbling rock. That! The wind disturbing a broken down injector for sure... "Eugh..." He rested his face in his hands, ruffling his fingers through his hair. "Everything is fine... No one knows you live here. Besides, O or Carbide will be coming by any day now for some sort of wacky adventure I'm sure. Just a matter of waiting..." Another shaky sip from his cup.
