Name:
Aquamarine
Appeared Gender:
Male
Appeared Age:
Early twenty's
Gemstone:
Corrupted: Yes
Personality: Aquamarine has yet to accept that he is corrupt. This has lead him to develop a split personality. Aquamarine is a gentleman and an upstanding gem. He is a hard worker and has genuine kindness in his heart. Though he also holds grief. He appears pure when calm. But as he gets aggravated he slowly turns a shade of purple. He gets particularly worked up when he is confronted with the fact that he is succumbing to corruption. He will deny, deny, deny until he snaps and turns into an entirely different person. Violet (his alter ego) is full of confidence, his sword is bigger and heavier than Aquamarine's and he is a better fighter. Not necessarily because he is any stronger but because he is much more focused on his opponents weaknesses and much more aware of his limitations. Violet is downright psychopathic and homicidal. He can turn into his monster form as violet and his personality does not change. Violet is aware that Aquamarine exists and resides in his subconsciousness waiting to come out. Aquamarine does not know about Violet and has very, VERY hazy memory's when he turns into Violet.
Likes/Dislikes:
(Aquamarine)
Women, earth sports, fine food.
(Violet)
Violence, destruction, mayhem.
Dislikes: Aquamarine.
Fears:
His own corruption. The only thing that Aquamarine is really afraid of, is himself. He has been constantly faced with the fact that he is becoming corrupt. He can only deny it for so long. It will take something great to make him accept this part of himself.
Weapon:
Ability 1: Leap: Aquamarine can jump so high that to the causal observer he would appear to be flying. He takes no fall damage within reason (i.e. if he falls from space he is clearly going to be hurt very badly)
Ability 2:
Light and shadow manipulation. Aquamarine is talented in manipulating light into angular constructs, these can attack his opponents with blunt force and create defensive walls for him. It works best with plenty of light to work with and stays the same shade as the light he draws from. Violet can manipulate shadow, it is much faster and fundamentally does the same thing but it rely's on darkness and is not as sturdy or permanent.

Fusions:
History: Aquamarine was once a simple security guard for an interstellar cruise ship. One day he woke up on a prison ship with no recollection of the past day. He was told that he was being sent to his trial for terrible crimes. Violet had manifested himself and had vented the entire pool deck out into space. None of the gems were ever found again. He escaped as soon as he could, making a light wall to block the flow of the gem disruption field keeping him imprisoned. He walked through it and soon his escort back to the home world. Noticed that he was loose on the camera. She left the cockpit of the small vessel and yelled for him to surrender, saying he was corrupt and needed to undergo a trial. Violet yelled back to him that he was innocent and was half purple, when his escort drew her weapon he drew his to defend himself and he blacked out. He woke up on earth, in the ruin of a small ship on the very mountain next to beech city. Violet had defeated the gem, steered the ship as close to the earth as he could. (it was the closest habitable planet and he had no intention of going to the dreamworld in a stolen peace forces ship.) He had no knowledge of how to land such a craft or even slow it down. It caught fire in the earths atmosphere and he ejected before he hit the ground. When the crash was investigated they would find that the computer containing the knowledge of the felon only had a picture of the purple gem that had been caught, violet was still at large but Aquamarine was Scott free. Since then he has gotten a job as a police officer to protect this city, it had been nice to him. Taking him in when the rest of the world wanted to condemn him. He does his job so hard for two reasons, to pay the humans of this place back for giving him a home and to frantically try to dismiss that single day as a bad dream.
