It was a bright, sunny day at the farms near Beach City. The corn was high, and a small herd of cows were grazing outside in the fields. All was calm, and not a single word could be heard, until sea green figure came walking from afar. She was talking to the glowing hologram, floating above her wrist tech. As a couple of cows looked up from the grass, Turquoise walked towards them.
"While the foresty hills further away showed little of interest, it seems like I just found more of those spotted things." Turquoise said, as she hopped over fence that surrounded the field. "They've made some pathetic attempts at building a wall, but that hasn't stopped me from investigating them further. I didn't even need to climb!" She chuckled, before patting a cow on its back. Moving her arm down, she aimed her attention at the animal. "No worries! I'll make sure to teach you how to build a real wall, if Homeworld doesn't respond again in the next few centuries."
Walking over to the cornfield next to the field where the cows were grazing, Turquoise pulled her wrist tech back to her face. "The plant life in this place is very limited." While she kept talking, Turquoise pulled out her grappling hook, and shaped the parts into a small shovel. "My hypothesis is that this dirt isn't fit for any other plant life to grow, so-" Just when she was about to analyse the dirt sample, Turquoise heard a voice. Her weapon disappeared, and she hid in the cornfield, before peeking out just enough to see another gem walking on the road nearby. They didn't seem to have spotted her yet, but Turquoise felt like announcing herself could be a bad decision. After all, this place was awfully close to the rebel gems; this gem could be one of them! Silently, Turquoise observed the gem.
