"I was made on an insignificant Colony, Not bigger than Earths moon. What's left of it is a base, but not really overseeing anything of importance." She shrugged. In her field of work she had met some Gems who had attachments to where they were born. For most of her career she considered it a defect that could be correctable. Homeworld was our planet.
She glanced up at the tip of Morions finger, than followed it to the sky. Her visor barely worked, and narrowed down the Homeworld Galaxy, listing facts, distance and any available resources that Morganite might have had access to if it was another time. She nodded to the Smokey Quartz's accurate description of the Galaxies. She was never a navigator, and relied heavily on the advanced tracking systems. Looking up at the sky, she suddenly felt very... small.
"The best bet is an attempt to rebuild the warped pads," She thought hard. "...But I haven't met a single Engineering Gem, or healing Gem" She sighed. Ruffling up her bangs. The few Gems that she met, including the Smokey Quartz--Have all been soldier caste. It made sense she was technically in a 'war zone' on Earth. For one of the first times in her long lifespan she felt.. Useless? It was a fleeting feeling. That was defective emotion.
The plans frightened Morganite. "The rebels killed.. Peridots?" Her blood ran cold. She had worked very closely with many of them. A shiver ran down her spine. She didn't like to think of the monsters that now ran amuck on Earth, or the experiments that are (Hopefully) still in stasis. It was a lot to take in. Suddenly she understood Smokey Quartz's urgency in leaving the planet before the shit hit the fan.
She blushed heavily, no one had ever bowed to her before. It was odd and made her feel an odd combination of flattery and embarrassment, with a hint of suspicion that the Smokey Quartz was teasing her.
"Oh um... Yes! Something fun!" She tried to remember what her options were, and decided on the last word she heard. "Play? I never had much time to play. I'd love to play with you!"
