Name: Jade - Facet-5C7Q Cut-7ZX
Appeared Gender: Female
Appeared Age: around 20
Gemstone: Jade
Gemstone Location: In the middle of his chest
Corrupted: -
Appearance:
Lady Jade is a very tall Gem (8'5 tall), taller than most of the Quartz soldiers. As a noble, an aristocrat Gem, she is usually in her green, silk like "kimono"
(Big thank you for the artist Myanaconda, who allowed the ose of his picture)
Personality: Jade is a polite Gem, a lady of high intellect with a cleaver and devious personality. She is not too loud, usually speaks quietly and never raise her voice. Life in the Court made her a bit cold and calculating, but she is not cruel, nor evil, but sometimes she could be pragmatic.
Likes/Dislikes:
Likes: clever mind games, courtly games, beautiful planets. Cats
Dislike: stupidity, rude behavior, unnecessary cruelty, Injectors and abusing planets
Fears: Jade fears the future and what it might hold for the Gem Empire. She also fears quick changes, and can't really handle new things and sudden things quite well so she could be anachronistic sometimes. Her deepest fear is to cause the shattering of innocent Gems and beeings in any way.
Weapon: Long jade claws, but she rarely uses them, they are just for reminding others, she is too the member of an intergalactic conqueror Race.
Ability 1: Forcefield - Jade is able to create a force field in variations of a spherical shape. The larger the "bubble" the weaker it become. the "Bubble Shield" Lady Jade can summon is an incredibly durable bubble (Like Steven's). The bubble encases her and others that she's protecting. She is capable of summoning it reflexively. Like Steven she can expand her bubble to push away enemies and her bubble can generate its own internal atmosphere (like Steven and Connie could survive in the bubble for hours despite it being air-tight, and would even allow Steven to breath inside one he had just generated in the vacuum of space.)
The extent of the bubble's durability is like Steven's bubble and while that is unknown how durable that is, it has survived most of the following: The tremendous pressure of an ocean trench ("Bubble Buddies").Being crushed by a falling Injector ("On the Run"). A spaceship crash ("Jail Break"). The vacuum of space ("Bubbled").
Ability 2: Geokinesis - Jade have psychokinetic control over the earth and minerals. While she can control massive amounts of earth and rock, shaping it to her will, she also have an incredible amount of fine control, making artistic shapes. Her primary forms of mobility include flying on a rock platform or extremely quick tunneling. (Like Terra in Teen Titans ^^)
Fusions: None
History:
Jade was formed on the Homworld more than twentyfive thousand years ago. She was "born" into the noble caste, part of the Gem Aristocracy and became the part of Pink Diamond's Court. Her sharp mind was a boon to the Court and helped her to outmanuver other Gem aristocrats and ambassadors on the political battlefield.
But Lady Jade was hiding a terrible secret: under her calm look, her heart was full of anger and shackled rage - like the calm mountain is sometimes in reality a vulcano ready to errupt...
The truth was, thanks to her strong connection to the element earth, Lady Jade always could feel the "pain" of a planet she was on... every Injector was a burning stab in her soul and she could feel the anguish of the dying planet as the Kindergertens sucked out the life to form new Gems. Yet she never could hate the young Gems... it wasn't their fault. It never was.
She was wise enough to realize the agressive expansionist policy will be the doom of the Gem Empire; killing planets to increase the Gem's numbers was unnecessary; turning the dead planet to a Colony was somewhat acceptable tho' but needless.
But she stayed quiet, and used her political might to reach her goals. It was the only way to help the Gems. A slow, but sure way to save the future of the Empire. She always had the patience of a mountain, and her methods were slow, like the continental drifting...
Earth was a promising Planet a chance to show the Diamonds, Gems and other species could co-exist and there is no need to kill a world just to "replicate", so she slowed down as much as she could the Gems with clever political tricks and favors, so the Kindergartens worked only the fraction with their capabilites and the building of Gem structures was also slow... (naturally it wasn't all of her achievement, other Courts worked on the same thing, but this time the inter-court conflicts and Diamond rivalry was working to her favor) tho' he was deeply concerned about Humanity's recklessnes and the ways they treated their own world... but they were so young and without a teacher to guide them.
Jade was away when she heard about the Rebellion; and she was shocked; she could understand their reasons, but Jade felt their actions were too rush, too quick, too sudden, without any thoughts about the consequences.
So the green lady had to do something!
Jade visited Earth, Her Diamond's world before many times and know the way to the nearest colony, but this time she had to travel to Earth in secret, without Pearls and bodyguards, without any escrot or for that mater, a ship... with a bag of stuffs (Gem communciator, little usefull things), she was ready to go
The journey took years; she meditated on an asteroid, protected by her bubble shield, while traveled through space, using her abilites to speed up the rock, slowing down only just on the edge of the solar system. Her "ride" was small enough not to hurt the targeted Planet
Finally she approached Earth...
