It was pretty quiet and slow inside Fish Stew Pizza. A handful of patrons were scattered about the parlor, enjoying their pizza at tables while making idle conversation. At first, one head turned when what appeared to be a new comer emerged into the establishment, the door closing itself behind him. The figure was tall, breaking the 6 foot mark by at least a few inches. His build could be described as athletic. The most noticable things about him however, was his clothes and his skin. His garments consisted of a sharp black business suit with a red tie straight down the middle like a river of magma flowing over a bed of obsidian. His skin was a deep red, his facial features sharp and his jet black hair flowed down to his shoulders. His eyes were a piercing yellow. A few more heads turned, then the patrons returned to their usual business.
The newcomer smirked a bit as he made his traversed the distance from the door to the place where he could place his order. He wasn't drawing prolonged stares anymore, which was a good sign. He was greeted at the counter by a young woman.
"Hello, welcome to Fish Stew Pizza, what would you like?" She asked.
He glanced at the menu board for a moment before moving his gaze to hers. "I would like the Inferno Deluxe."
The young woman's eyebrows raised a bit. "That pizza's spiiiiicy are you sure?"
The newcomer gaze a quick nod to confirm his order and placed a few bills on the counter.
"Okay, don't burn the place down, ya hear?" She responded as she took the money and stuffed it in the register. She offered him his change, but he raised his hand and pointed toward the tip jar. She smiled a bit as she dropped his change into it. "What's your name? For when the pizza's ready." She asked.
The newcomer mulled over his answer for a second. "Mahogany."
She paused and blinked. "Ain't that a girls name?"
He kind of froze for a moment, not expecting that kind of response. "Well, you can call me Obsidian if you're more comfortable with that."
She chuckled a bit. "Pizza will be ready in about ten minutes." She said before disappearing into the back.
Obsidian moved toward a nearby table and sat down in one of the chairs after pulling it out.
