The day was rather calm and uneventful at Meyer's Musical Market, one of Beach city's notable instrument shop. A rather modern-looking, but just so lightly gloomy musical shop visited by a lot of musicians of all sorts.
The shop was located on the main avenue, the one which directly lead towards Empire city, that giant city barely noticeable in the distance. Few people came to the shop, but mainly guitarists or drummers, which was how the shop got itself known, by selling quality drum kits or guitar sets, although a lot of other things were there apart these. A lot of vinyls were sold, along tapes and amps, coupled by some stereos. Headsets were also sold along music players and various others items.
The cashier was a young woman dressed in a rather gothic-looking style, with very present black eyeliner, a black T-shirt with what is surely a rock band, a very common leather jacket and mid-long white hair with a black strike shadowing most of her face if it wasn't for the lights inside the shop. She sat on a stool and was looking at her phone, while eventually writing with a surprising speed.
There was an item though, that stood out from the bunch, which was avery fancy stereo standing at the end of the counter. Why fancy, you ask? Well, it bore golden outlines around it's edges, and looked very shiny. There was also a thing which catched everyone's eyes as they looked at it, which was a blue'ish.. or well, purple'ish... well, something between that. An indigo-coloured oversized and perfectly cut gem that was stuck in the middle of the lower speaker, under two other speakers that made the stereo itself look like it had two widely-open eyes and a surprised mouth, with the gem in it's middle. This would, of course, look rather uncanny for anyone looking at it. The catch is, that anyone which took the stereo took it back to the shop merely a day or two after buying it, as it would after a while produce sound so loud, it broke glasses and shook a whole room upside-down. This being a reason why the stereo is so cheap, and that many people passed the offer because of the "curse" set upon that item.
When a person walked in, the cashier wouldn't talk to them until they themselves started the conversation.
