The last few days had been pretty rough, almost even a bit traumatic for both him and the gem he had sent to the Temple in a bubble. Knowing how smart this gem was and what she could know, he was aware he wouldn't really understand her, even if he wanted to. Para was a smart gem, even her NAME was smart! Pad...Padparadcha or something.. he was more then happy to just call her Para.
Knowing she liked to stay down in the forge, she wasn't too hard to find. Having finding Para where she dwelled most, he spent some talk talking with the bright gem about what had happened. Quite upset over how it had to go still, after the story Para of course wanted to see this Peridot who was bubbled away inside the Burning Room of the Temple. Upon arrival via the warp pad, Varis lead Para to the door of the Temple which began to glow before the door settled and opened into the Burning Room, the walls lined in bubbled gems, an orange light glazed the edges of the room. That's when Varis learned something about himself.
"P-Para? I uh... I just realized something..." Taking a step into the room and glancing around the walls at the bubbled gems, "I uh.. never really looked for a g-gem in here." He tried a slight smile, knowing he must look like a bit of a fool to such an intelligent gem.
Walking into the room more he had started looking for Peridots gem, "It looks like an upside down triangle, real b-bright green." He spoke aloud scanning the walls, not sure if Para would know what to look for. A lot of the gems he was glancing over might have been the corrupt gems he sent here, he even noted a few of the gems were indeed corrupted. Maybe that could narrow the search? If Para had not already found the gem.
