After several days of surrupticiously searching, and keeping a facade of calmness up, Meta had found him. She knew his energy signature. She'd never forget it.
Meta seethed softly as her feet touched the vegetation-carpeted earth of Mask Island. Dead leaves sizzled and blackened under the heat of her touch. She stood for a moment, getting a better sense of where on the island he was, then took off, hovering slowly and quietly towards the Gem who knew enough to ruin Meta and the Crystal Gems.
She was going to find out if he'd told anyone yet, and then she was going to make sure he never told anyone ever again. No matter what the cost was. She wasn't going to let one Gem bring everything crashing down for her.
Amon had taken shelter on a fairly unimportant looking island. After the mess that was his and the kid's fusion he needed a bit of reprieve, no matter how brief. He lay sprawled out on one of the many large rocks dotting the island, staring out into the endless skies. Any feelings he had of regret had washed away, being sponged up by those blue skies. He knew far too well that he wasn't getting off easy and wasn't about to start running, tail between his legs. In one motion he hopped up on his feet and took a deep breath. He knew SHE was coming. She was the only one who could, or even would. Cuffing his hands around his mouth he inhaled deeply.
"You want me, come and get me!" Amon shouted, the voice echoing throughout the entire soundless island. He took a brief pause, smiling to himself before hopping of the rock and watching, waiting for her to show up. The tempermental leader of the crystal gems, Meta Autunite. He kept his eyes glued to the trees around him, the side of the rock he had hopped down from smack dab in the center of a clearing. Along with his eyes he listened intently to the sounds around him, what little sounds there were.
Amon tilted his head upwards to meet the fiery gaze of Meta, hovering above him. "Meta." He sneered back, confidently taking a step forward.
"I suggest you start taking this a lot more seriously. You took advantage of our trust. You took advantage of the Crystal Gems. You took advantage of Alex when he trusted you. You took advantage of me."
Amon let out a slight chuckle in response, seeing that she was far from done talking.
"You could get away with the first two if it were Rose leading us. But Rose isn't here anymore, Amon. I am."
"To think that I would get to see the almighty leader of the Crystal Gems in such a state. Truly, I am blessed." He mused, showing no signs of backing down to the imposing figure in front of him. "Although you are making a grave mistake in your statements. I am taking this seriously. I take everything I do seriously." His voice had done a complete 180 compared to his previous sentence as it took on a more serious tone. "And what about you, huh? To allow yourself to be so easily betrayed. I knew you never liked me much but did you ever think you were right?" He grinned slyly.
As this glistening teal cylinder shapped flow of pure energy sky rocketed upwards as the warp at Mask Island was activated Blue's body emerged, her large sky blue curly hair flowed upwards as she descended onto the warp-pad from a few inches off the ground.
Blue came to this place out of completely curiosity, it was here where she crashed, it was here where she met her first earth gem, logically speaking she could actually meet more of these interesting gems in which some may or may not be a delight, either way she still would proceed onward.
Her eye gazed upon the motioning leaves that moved from side to side due to the fluttering winds, she would then step off the warp-pad looking around her vicinity. Suddenly as she continued on her little stroll through a pathway she would hear voices, potential gems? or maybe even humans having a vacation of some sort, she'll soon find out for herself.
As she followed in pursuit of the sound it led her to the gathering of two gems, gems she had never seen before, she would then look at one and then turn her gaze at the other not saying a word just yet as it seemed as though they had something going on. One of them had a bit of heat radiating from there body in which then she would start to think a bit on that, she would then look at the other gem who seemed rather calm and laid back which was only a hunch really.

Meta ground her teeth, lips curling back from them in a snarl, and her eyes flickered with rage.
"You're right, Amon."
Meta's body tensed.
"I was a fool. It's a mistake I never intend to make again. But as for the consequences of my existing miss-step?"
With a roar, an expanding white-hot bubble of atomic energy smashed into Amon, scorching his body, melting and burning his outfit, and sending him crashing back through the sand hard, to smash against a large rock sticking up out of the beach, cracking the boulder and leaving Amon in a smoldering heap, covered in molten-sand liquified by the burst of energy.
"I intend to deal with them right now."
Meta summoned white-hot orbs of plasma in either hand, and hovered towards the stunned Gem.
Amon braced himself for the surge of heat that had blasted towards him. Instead of being slammed into the rock behind him he had jumped up, using the momentum of Meta's attack to be pushed upwards onto the rock he was previously on. Wordlessly, he summoned one of his drills onto his right hand and built up energy in his hand. Releasing the energy, he pointed his drill towards the beach and the surge of energy blasted out of the pipes of his weapon and sent him flying towards the beach of the island. Upon landing on the sand he summoned his other drill to his left hand and immediately started building up energy as quickly as he could. As meta hovered over, now with two white-hot balls of plasma he took on a ready pose.
"I'm a mistake now, huh? Well, can't say it's not fitting." He smirked, doing everything he could to get under Meta's skin. He knew all too well that he wasn't leaving with his life and at the very least he wanted to make the most of his time left. He was never truly on the side of Homeworld. Amon was a warrior who only ever fought for enjoyment, for the satisfaction of overpowering others. Though Alex had done a number on his original views he still held them. "You know you're not supposed to start all out? You gotta build up to these things, start out small you know?" Amon jeered, trying to buy enough time to build even more energy in his left hand.
Blue heard a name, Amon, it must've been the name of the gem that gotten blasted at in which then Blue could appear as a bystander as this obviously wasn't her fight to intrude in, as she watched the interesting abilities of the green gem she simply would take notes of this in her head.
The gem known as Amon must've of been towing with her a bit to get her overwhelemed, was he asking for death? No he may have a potential goal out of all this as who would simply fight for nothing, then again Blue had her fair share of those types of moments in the past.
Blue would then place her palm upon the ground while concentrating, as she closed her eye a few minutes went by in which then she widened it with the lime green glow that emitted from her eye ball.
She would then press her palm down manipulating near by trails of seaweed, it all gathered around Blue layering alongside one another till it form into a hand big enough to hold Blue's Size.
Blue would lift up her dress while getting on the giant seaweed hand controlling into to go airborne as she was intrigued by this battle. Amon actually did seem to have some skill of his own but it may not be enough yet, she would keep her eye on them from the air as the land was not the place for her to be around due to that blast she previously saw.
Meta said nothing. Instead, she gestured, and the orbs of plasma in either hand dissipated with a burst of flame and light.....
And the sand underneath Amon turned red hot, bubbled, and was suddenly molten. Meta continued to gesture, as if conducting a symphony, and a roiling ball of heat and kight formed above Amon, wavering in the air for a split second, and then slamming downwards in an effort to bathe Amon in even more heat and crush him deep into the molten sand below.
Even if he managed to move in time, the orb's impact would kick up a massive wave of now-molten sand, splattering the beach for dozens of meters in any given direction.
Meta was so captivated by her own rage, she did not register the nearby presence of Blue Quartz.
Amon kicked himself into a rapid spin, using his right hand to keep constantly putting out bursts of energy, both to keep him spinning faster and to keep him in the air, floating above the molten sand below. His spinning had started to kick up a sort of mini-tornado, keeping the plasma away from him. Mostly, bits and pieces of it splashed on him every so often and almost melted straight through his body. The entire time, he was STILL building up energy in his left hand, it now becoming incredibly unstable and violently shaking. Stopping for a second to build up energy in his right hand, he pulled it away and faced his palm away from Meta. The drill dissapeared from his hand as it surged out energy and he bursted through whatever plasma was left and blasted him towards Meta. In one motion he spun in the air until his left hand was thrust forward. Soon as he got remotely close to Meta all the energy in his left hand exploded. An incredibly huge blast shot out of his hand and blasted a huge cone in front of him. His arm, not being able to contain a blast that big, was torn to shreds. His feet planted on the ground as he was surprised he wasn't poofed yet. He was torn to shreds, with burns covering his entire 'body' and his whole left arm missing.
"You know you can't win." He blurted out into the dust cloud his attack had left. "You can't destroy what I really am. Even if this body is destroyed, a stronger one will rise to take it's place. The Crystal Gems leader will see her end someday. But for me, there is no end. NO END!" He shouted in a mocking tone. He knew too well that Meta was still alive. Assuming a ready stance he waited for her next attack.
Blue would widen her eye at the sight of it, it seemed as Amon was getting a run for his money by this green gem, blue still wasn't able to figure out why these two were even fighting and logically it was none of her business so she could only do so much but stare.
As she was still leviated in the air by her giant seaweed hand she would continue to watch the match, it seemed that he mentioned something of a leader, not just any leader, the leader of the crystal gems, what happened with the Rose Quartz?.
Blue then stared at the green gem for a moment internally thinking about her, she was fit for the position combatively but she'll see for herself if this leader was an actual leader, she had never seen a leader of the freedom fighters so she'll get a kick out of this no doubt.

The explosion struck Meta head-on, and engulfed her, blasting away the dirt under her, obliterating rocks around her and shredding several nearby trees and shrubs.
The forest rustled and shook with the force of the energy and nearly a dozen other trees were uprooted or felled by the blastwave.
Smoke rose from smoldering earth and vegetation. Several fires grew from the anftermath, as Amon's attacks had struck flammable forest floor and vegetation instead of just rock and sand.
A figure rose to her feet from the smoke.
In one hand she held an axe. In the other, she gathered a swirling orb. It contained much of the energy Amon had launched her way, and as she began to stride out of the smoke and destruction, her hand gathered the heat and energy from around her, snuffing out the fires and causing the smoke to gradually dissipate.
The kinetic aspect of the explosion had scuffed Meta's skin and outfit, left her cape slightly tattered, turned her hair into a mess, and torn the fabric over one thigh, exposing the soft flesh underneath, but Meta was otherwise unharmed. It was in her nature to absorb and possess energy. To attack her with her own strength was folly.
For a second, it looked like Meta was going to throw the orb.
She did not. She simply clenched her fist around it, and made it a part of herself.
"Your end is here, Amon. Here and now. If some other shape rises and turns out to be as much of a thorn in my side as you, I'll cut it down too."
Meta took the axe in both hands, and it blazed with white-hot fire that was too bright to look at. With a scream that was almost monstrous, full of rage and fury, Meta flew at Amon nearly too fast for the eye to track, and swung the axe.
Amon chuckled slightly at seeing Meta rise from the smoke. 'Of course' he grumbled underneath his breath.
"Your end is here, Amon. Here and now. If some other shape rises and turns out to be as much of a thorn in my side as you, I'll cut it down too."
Amon braced himslef for Meta's attack, summoning his drill on his remaining arm and surging energy through it to thrust his drill against the blade of the axe. However, Meta's swing had just a slight bit too much weight too it and smashed through his drill. His arm being flung out of the way the axe was able to continue it's swing and plant itself straight into Amon's chest. As durable as he was, this was it. He could feel his physical from slipping. Taking his glasses off, he stared Meta down. "I hope it was as good for you as it was for me," He sighed deeply. "Tell the kid I said goodbye." Amon only hoped that his final taunt dug at Meta and cut deep. With that final statement his physical form poofed, dissapearing into nothing and leaving only his sunglasses and gem behind to fall softly into the sand below.
The explosion was generally catastrophic, performing constant destruction to mask island, as some trees were damaged along with the spreads of fire it felt like a war zone in the making, however the battle would then soon to be concluded.
Blue would sway her hands around manipulating the fingers of the layered seaweed to descend them on the ground in the shapes of steps for her to walk down on. As the green gem whose name was still unknown succeeds with her attack poofing the other gem named Amon she simply stared at both the gem and back to her, she would then step down to the ground reverting the giant seaweed hand to nothing but a pile of vegetation on the beach.
After the battle was finished Blue would then head over to Meta and paused not of close proximity however roughly 11ft away. She would then speak," Greetings, I see you and this Amon had some sort of rivalry, wait more of a long lasting grudge due to betrayals maybe however it's only a logical assumption" she'd continue," My names Blue Quartz, and yours?" she'd say with a smile not knowing she is even a crystal gem however even so as long as no hostility was emerging then it all would be just fine.
Meta was stooped as Blue Quartz introduced herself, turned away from the other Gem and fishing for something along the still-smoldering sandbanks. As she rose to her feet and turned to face Blue Quartz, it was revealed to be Amon's Gem, clutched in her left hand.
She eyed the other Gem up and down. And then turned her eyes to the Gem in her hands.
The fingers holding it stiffened, and the air around them wavered with heat. And then the air caught fire in places. And then the Gem itself began to smoke.... Meta's hand strained and clenched, and, finally, the poofed Gem's Gem cracked slowly down the middle, burst into flame, and cracked apart in Meta's grip, destroyed by the intense heat. Meta clenched her fist entirely, and ugly, stinking black smoke poored from the cracks between her fingers. She opened up her hand again, and black dust and burnt chunks of gemstone tumbled to the ground.
"Why do you care?"
Her gaze was sullen and still consumed with the rage Amon had stirred in her.
