Light was in the kindergarden. He was tired... not only physically but also mentaly. The gem blood was still coming out of his chest near his gemstone. He was somehow still able to walk. The events in the Kindergarden were really terrible... it was probably too much for him.
He was blaming himself dor the death of the Mocha Pearl there. It wasn't really his fault but Light had a bad attitude to blame himself.
He finnaly had menaged to get to the warp pad. The light blue light covered him. Soon he was finnaly near the Forge, Para's home. It just took him few more steps to get to the Forge. Pearl was hoping that Para will be there. The whole journey appeared to be the waste of the time... or maybe not? Light had now some important informations in his gemstone.

Para was, as usual, busy in the main room working on her perpetual work orders. She never imagined that being the primary source of production for the Crystal Gems would be so occupying, although it seems obvious now that she thought about it. Still, it at least gave her something to do. At the moment she had some sort of shield she was currently tweaking, looking over the order form, "Fire resistance and heat beams? Now they are starting to get ridiculous... but I suppose I could just..." Her planning turning into mumbling as Para continued her work.
It was only about halfway through the order when the doors opened and in came her favorite companion. Without looking up she called out, "Ah, welcome back Light! I was wondering when you would... return..." Something about how Light sounded made her look away from the current project, seeing the severely injured state he was in. The tools dropped from her hands and clattered onto the floor, her mouth agape as she processed the situation.
Her first instinct was to panic, but logic thankfully rose above her baser instincts. Freaking out would do nothing, she had to act. Running over to help support him Para slid her arm under his, leading him over to somewhere to sit, "What on Earth happened to you! I didn't think it would be so dangerous, I never should have let you go out like that!" She began to check his form all over, looking at the severity and making sure there were no signs of cracking, "Can you walk any further? We may need to get you to the fountain immediately!"
Light sit on the anvil thanks to Para. He started to have problems with moving so it was a relief when she helped him get there. "My gemstone is fine... it is just my physical form. It got damaged... but it should be able to recover itself after time."
His gemstone really didn't seem to be damaged. However the area around it had many scars. It looked like some was trying to take off his gemstone. The white light/liquid like thing was seen in those scars.
"I a-m fine, really... no need to worry. I am suprised my form endured the damage." Light just had to mention what he learned, but he just wasn't sure how to adress it. Para... was she corrupted? And should he mention what happened to the Pearl he met in kindergarden? And how should he explain what actually happened to him? He was sitting on the anvil, unsure what to say or do next.

She was satisfied with the knowledge that he wasn't about to shatter, but his current condition did nothing to comfort her. She looked Light up and down with disbelief, "Fine? Fine?!" she let out a little bit of a nervous laugh, "Nothing about this is fine! What even caused this?!" Tears began to form in the corners of her eyes and her voice started to quiver, "I never thought this would happen..."
For the time being she managed to control herself, albeit barely, "Please, tell me everything, I need to know if you're still in danger." Already she began to spin her hands around, slowly forming some artificial gauze to help ease his injuries. She was by no means a healer, and knew none personally. In her head she cursed herself for not planning for such an event, making a note to do so later.
Light was concerned, upseting Para was the last thing he wanted. He thought that maybe it would have been better if he stayed outside and came back after a small rest. But the wounds were in fact pretty big. He wasn't sure if it was possible to regenerate without healing tears or creating a new physical form. Like he mentioned before, he was suprised that he actually didn't poof.
Para was always stable so Pearl wasn't sure how to act. He could see she was worried, but at the same time she seemed mad "I uhhh..."
It hasn't been a long time when Para again asked the same question. This time she was trying to control her emotions. "I am fine, really... I am not in danger" He tried to avoid the eye contact "It is just... You were nowhere to be found and I thought you are in a kindergarden... and than I uhhh..." The whole story was so weird, it was hard to believe in it. Light had serious problems explaining everything. And he wasn't sure how to tell her what he learned! Why did she care so much about him when she herself needed help? Light was pretty sure now that Para was sadly corrupted. Light was also pretending that nothing happened to a certain Mocha Pearl, but deep inside he felt guilty.

Para had to restrain herself to not rush through her basic medical attention, knowing a hurried job wouldn't do much good. So with a few deep breaths she set to work wrapping the artificial gauze-material around the most damaged parts to try to help keep it together.
Despite acting relatively calm, the panic felt like it was starting to get to her. A familiar dull ache began to greet her right hand, and a quiet whisper was audible only to her, "He's not going to make it..." She smothered the thought like a stray ember, mumbling under her breath, "He will recover."
Shaking her head Para focused back on Light's face, the basic first aid complete, "Did you say 'Kindergarden'? You should know I try to avoid that place whenever possible, there is only danger there! Was this the work of some terrible corrupted beast?" The wounds themselves were strange to her. Some appeared to be the works of claws or at least some sort of attempt to grab his gem. The others however looked much more like they were done with a weapon, which was not something she found corrupted gems to use. And the way Light was talking... there was something else here.
While she grew more serious, the terrified concern was still very present, "Light... please, tell me what happened. I have to know."
He sighed, there was a lot to talk about. Pearl never really enjoyed that kind of talks."There was a signal... coming from the console" He poined at it "A gem that looked like you tried to say something, but it was imposible to understand them... so I checked what was the source of the signal. It was the Kindergarden so I went there without much thinking."
He looked concerned "I had no idea where were you or who tried to contact the forge! I had to do something! For you!" He raised his voice and tried to stood up. However, it was hard in this condition, he remained in a siting position after a failed attempt to stood up. "What else was I suppose to do? I can't lose you! But... it seems you didn't really need my help after all. And now I am just making everything more difficult for you." He stayed silent for some time. He tried to hide his facial expression and the fact that he started to shed single tears by looking at the floor "I am sorry, I can't even take care of myself. And I have no idea how to help you right n-" Light wasn't sure if it was wise to talk with her about the corruption, he quickly raised his hand and placed it on his mouth.

This Roleplay is a prequel to Steven Universe to an extent with some slight retconing and its own progression to the story that will turn out differently to how stuff plays out in the show. Thanks to the message by Rose Quartz several gems are rising up to protect Earth and have labelled themselves as the Crystal Gems. Others on earth are remaining aligned to Homeworld though despite the isolation of Earth from Homeworld
All gems on earth are still stranded, the communication hub is still offline and all the space warps are shattered, it has now been revealed that this is the work of Rose Quartz and her small group known as the Crystal gems. They have rebelled against Homeworld and have chosen to protect the Earth (Trapping themselves on Homeworld to keep the warps down).
Now both sides are fighting among themselves along with fighting against the 'Corruption' a virus is infecting many gems turning most of them into mindless monsters, but those with a stronger will seem to becoming something more sinister.
The Game has changed now. The question has finally been posed, are you against Homeworld or allied with them. Or do you have your own agenda that may or may not been assisted by the ‘Corruption’. Regardless the seeds have been placed down and although it is only the beginning the fight for or against Earth and the corruption has begun. The choice is yours for how it is shaped on the Original Steven Universe Roleplay Site.

*The "corruption" is being treated like a virus due to lack of info about it on the show.
*Garnet, Pearl and Rose are assumed capture on Homeworld
*Garnet,Pearl and Rose broke the space warps to delay Homeworld
*Thanks to Roses Message gems now know what the Kindergarten was used for
