Name: Dolomite
Appeared Gender: Female
Appeared Age: Early Twenties
Gemstone: Dolomite (Perma-Fusion of Black Melanite and Red Pearl)
Gemstone Location: A small circular one on the middle of the tongue, and another more ridged one on the wrist.
Faction: Neither (Leaning towards Crystal Gem)
Corrupted:(Y/N) No
Appearance: Though formed from two completely different gemstones, she herself looks oddly enough like them both in her own way. She is a large seven feet tall, with a basic slim frame to herself that makes her extremely light weight. Her hair is fair and reaches down to her shoulders, being a light black, almost dark brownish color, which goes nicely with her pale tan skin. Her eyes are black, with a red lining around them, and her face as a few small freckles on it, as if to imitate the humans. Around her neck is a necklace made of a red material with a black circle center, shaped like a star that glows brightly when in darkness. She wears a black jacket with red lines, as well as a white undershirt with the image of a feather in red. Her pants are jeans, with two chains on each side meeting up with a chain reaching from the back, similar to how Melanite's were.
Personality: Dolomite is a tougher gem on the outside, with a soft core to herself. Being a fighter and battle driven gem, with a semi-pacifist mentality of wishing to keep peace, she is constantly within an upstanding mood and wishing to keep herself within check and in tip top shape. She find pride in herself and others she is around, often times making her the pride of a party, and very much dislikes being around other gems. Her time around humans is much more enjoyable than with other gems, and despises being around them to much. Her opinions constantly changing over her deemed "enemies" and "allies", she has a pessimistic view on gems as a species.
Dolomite stays together as much as possible and will only unfuse on arguments between Melanite and Red Pearl, which is not a very common sight, and whenever they are alone and separate from each other. The constant state of being fused takes a toll on them as separate beings, and they have seen themselves become more like each other as a whole, causing them to occasionally split to try and keep their "personalities".
Likes/Dislikes:
Likes: Humans, Human food, Human clothes, animals, fighting.
Dislikes: All Gems, Harming Human beings, teleporting, Gem activity of any kind.
Fears: Being Captured, The Diamonds, High Classed Gems.
Weapon:
Arming Shield: A large black and red medieval shield at around 5 feet tall, with handles on the inside which can be removed by the free hand to reveal an assortment of blades, from a short sword to a small dagger in length. These all are held securely to the shield when not retrieved.
Throwing Knives: Small knives that look like Balisong blades, which are able to be thrown quite effectively by Dolomite.
Aqua-Affinity: A combination of Melanite's Shadowbending and Red Pearl's Water-Walking. Dolomite can disappear into her gem form, becoming engulfed by water and hiding in the water and using it to move around like a sort of quick movement, or teleportation. This leaves her gems open for attacks or removal, which can damage her or be used to separate/kidnap her.
Extreme Heat Resistance: Due to the extremely high melting point of Dolomite (About 2570-4660 Celsius), Dolomite is resistant to extreme heat and pressure, being able to withstand extremely hot areas, such as lava and magma pools.
Fusions: N/A (Though she already is a 'permanent' one)
History:
Born from the bond between two close Gems after an incident involving a crashed space ship and multiple months of being alone in space, the unlikely fusion arose after the incident explained further right now.
After narrowly escaping the grasp of the other gems within the crashed ship on the beech of Beech City, she ran off into the city to escape and managed to come across her old partner in crime, Red Pearl. Their plan back on Homeworld was a bust, and they followed their plan B to a T, surprised they would meet up again, they left to hide within the beech's rim to find another crashed space ship with Gem origins.
They were not thinking as they entered the ship, activating the machine and launching themselves hundreds of kilometers into the air and putting them in suspended orbit above the planet Earth and ultimately causing Red Pearl and Melanite to be stuck in a small cabin with little to nothing to do, and only each other to talk to the entire time. It wasn't anything negative, and the time they spent together trapped in that tiny bubble in space was enough for them to bond extremely well. They began to grow feelings for each other, something they originally never had, and became unable to separate from each other (metaphorically of course).
That is, until Melanite made the proposition to be together forever, in the sense of never splitting apart. They fused, making Dolomite as a permanent addition to their love, becoming a bond that would be unable to be broken. They spent a few days in this form, before the sound of beeping would wake them up from a much needed nap, where Dolomite would be greeted by terminal velocity, where the space ship turned into an oven before landing in the ocean, ironically outside of Beech City again. Almost as if the pair were cursed to forever be stuck in Beech City.
Their story would begin (again), rising from the ocean and attempting to find their way to the nearest Gem, wanting to get information on the most recent events. With no information and being stuck in space, they had little option than to cooperate with the Crystal Gems again.
