Not even glancing behind herself at the crawling green gem Black Lace kept her gaze squarely on the human interloper on this scene. Glaring as he tried to keep passing off the blame for this debacle onto everyone else around the room, the screams of shock and terrors from the crowd was starting to fade away as the human cattle poured out of the arena. Which was lucky for the three gems, clogging up the entry and exit ways would make sure that the police wouldn't be able to easily come in and get involved, considering the fact that this whole situation seemed to involve a recently stolen gem.
However, when the fire gem tried to intervene Lace froze up, she'd always dealt with other gems using a sense of pride and superiority given to her by having a higher rank and by acting on commands... now... she didn't really have anything, so she simply protested weakly "He could've killed us!" and a bunch of other people Lace supposed, but they all seemed to be human's so they didn't really count "We can't let him off too easily, even the humans wouldn't" before turning and glaring at the downed magician; stopping his attempt at crawling away by putting a jackbooted heel on his throat and pressing down. Not enough to permanently crush it, but definitely so that trying to strain against it would cause serious discomfort, not to mention the implied threat.
It was the bright flash of pink light that finally drew her irate gaze away from the pathetic ape creature, instead, her eyes turned to ones of amazement as a creature began to form from the 'family heirloom' taking on a physical body that only bore a passing resemblance to the gems of her time. It seemed like Homeworld really had changed in her time away, they never would've allowed something so deviant into their ranks... making the being all the more fascinating beautiful. Uncertain eyes glanced back and forth between the two other gems who she had presumed were here to recover it, hoping that they would know how to act with it, staying in stunned silence.
