Plot Details and Introduction
I decided to rework my original plot document to include all of my characters instead of the individual ones. All of my plots are subject to change with the help of others who would like to get involved in said plots. Many of the NPC’s are deeply entwined with a lot of my characters. In my own defense, I wouldn’t really make game-changing decisions with others NPC’s so I’d ask the same of mine as well. I prefer plotting with others to at least have some depth and be more than a run of the mill—‘let’s just meet kind of vibe’ and so I’d like to, in PM’s or the Chat-Box of course and not here on the plot thread, plot out ways the characters and can meet and what they can add to the story each other’s arcs. (I don’t use Discord, so I won’t do it there,)
Also some of my characters are in certain regions, I tend to keep them to those regions unless something changes in my plot, like if theoretically, Hematite gets captured and taken to Homeworld, since the probability of her showing up on earth is zero to none, I won’t make post in that region thanks to the fact she isn’t there. This is because I do a sort present-day RP where each thread needs to be within a time frame of each consecutive one thus after—it helps me moderate and keep up with my character’s current story-lines.
Also, I tend to be a slow poster and have trouble keeping up with threads due to life circumstances and things of that nature—if you are looking to role-play with someone who drops a ton of post of the time, then you might want to avoid me like a fire.
Also all the art in here is drawn by myself, so considered this my art thread in a way too. lol
So let’s get to it!

Backstory and Current Events
Shared Backstory
All of my characters at this immediate moment have tied backstories, I like to keep them roughly within the same arcs and time frames because it makes it a little easier to manage. Both Mad Azurite and Hematite were designed by the same gem designer—an especially talented and ancient one by the name of Serendibite. Known simply as a Grand Lapidary, Serendibite is most commonly known for designing gem-stones in very atypical and odd ways, even having crafting gems with a plasma stylus while they remained bubbled through a special technology of her own making. Due to her relative ease at crafting these templates and extensive knowledge of making various types of gems from combat gems to specialized multipurpose gems, she has been commissioned and requested of by the various diamonds and other aristocrats or high-ranking officials in search of classified and detailed gems for whatever exploits they need.
Azurite, and her facet line the L500 series, were designed by Seren to be effective drop-shocktroopers. This crazy line of solder-class gemstones were often incapable of summoning anything more effective than a dagger--despite their muscular feminine androgyny, they instead were outfitted with insane experimental weapons which they would use to engage their enemies. Along with the Azurite models, were the Azure-Malachite Facet L500 series, and the Bluebird-Azurite Facet L500 hundred series—both sent in as a compliment to the dangerous abilities of the azurite models. Though this line of azurite models were considered an expensive failure due to being strong warriors who could not summon powerful weaponry, many of the ones that made it out of wars earned high rankings due to an odd ‘battle ingenuity,’ that made them stand out from other gem warriors, along with tactical minds that was as sound as it was dangerous.
Sometime during the start of early rebellions, Homeworld, and its military officials—of that specialty, Yellow Diamond. Bearing witness to the incredible power fusion gave to the rebellious gems, its taboo and uncouth nature a trodden and unsavory realization that Homeworld’s own solders would need something to triumph over such a thing. Eventually, an idea was concocted to design abominations—gems tailored to fusion who would be used as double agents to battle against rebel factions such as the Crystal Gems, as these ‘anti-fusions’ were dispensable, they would eventually be disseminated for more refined reasons after the war.
Among these anti-fusions were three smaller gems whose deformity was mistaken as a misintension on part of their creator, Serendibite. These gems would become the fusion that is known as Hematite or Hematoid Quartz. Comprised of three gems, Moonstone, an empathic mage-like warrior; Onyx, a stealthy assassin; and Red-spinel, a hedonistic animalistic gem. The gems were secretly encouraged to ‘escape,’ from Homeworld, though in actuality were more ‘exiled,’ than anything, with the intent they would integrate with the rebel factions in their fused form. However, Serendibite, following her orders, purposefully sewn seeds of distrust for gemkind in Hematite’s psyche through her careful creation of the gems’ personalities which she would hope would incite them to form a mutiny against prospective opponents like the later formed Crystal Gems.
Except Hematite did not join them or seemed to care for that reality, and in fact, the gem ended up, in a desperate attempt to escape from K-sigma—utilizing Onyx’s Wormhole abilities to make a chance escape to earth, however—the gems would find themselves in a forest deep within the lands of the Rising Sun.
Additional Hematite Backstory
The Lands of Nippon:
The Lands of Nippon:
Hematite’s exile to Nippon, Japan would inevitable land her in the forest of Okunoshima which was—before a certain atrocity, inhabited by a vast number of native feral hares. In an alien island where there was nothing but the various Asian forest and fauna to console her and the occasional Shinto monks who journeyed here out of respite of an ancient temple that housed a dying Kami. Her life here was very isolated and lonely for almost five hundred years, until the beginning of the Heian period where, many of the Shinto Monks and Pilgrims had sighted her and thought of her first as being of the Yokai—and of the less appealing, the Mononoke. Hematite eventually met a rather charismatic monk, who would become her first human relationship—her first human friend. Nagatomi Yasū was a monk who hailed from the lands of Ryukyu, he was an Ainu who had spent his time traversing Japan, instructing in the way of the spirits—both the ari-mitama, the souls of the vicious emerging spirit—and the later more kinder, peaceful aspect of soul, nigi-mitama. The five souls of the spirit being an important aspect of their beliefs.
Yasū, mistaking Hematite as a Yōkai, attempted to ‘calm her spirit,’ a rite known as the shikon, originally coming to the forest due to the rumors of a flesh-blood Yōkai who had reached the status and ire of Mononoke and attained flesh of its own. Aware of its shapeshifting abilities—a strange comparison of both gemkind and the likes of the aberrations known as Yōkai, he felt that Hematite’s appearance wasn’t that of any malevolent Mononoke, but instead a Tennyo, a maiden with wings that beckoned good fortune. But the antennae-like rabbit ears confused him, he would eventually consider her a usagi-tensei. Yasū, would spend his next years trying to understand what this spirit was, when he learned she couldn’t speak their native tongue, he was surprised and found it in himself to spend almost ten-years teaching Hematite their native language. After which he would claim his title as, ‘The Man Who Showed Spirits Tongue,’ and adopted Hematite into his religion and in many ways his family.
Upon this time, Hematite; who, in her newfound language tried to explain to the monk her actual origins—it seemed he couldn’t quite fathom it, and called her Homeworld, respectively the Otherworld, where spirits resided. She wanted someday for the man to understand, but after many years—he would visit her only to grow weaker and more frail looking. One day, Yasū did not come to visit—and the gem wondered if it was because he had ‘finally parted for the afterlife.’ Yasū had left Hematite a clear message, he felt that this forest was her own domain, eventually humans would come to settle on it and it would be up to her to maintain the image he had painted through his own rumors about the young ‘forest spirit.’ He dedicated the old ancient shrine of the dead kami to a revived spirit—herself, and named the small budding shrine the “Usagijinja,” and before his old age took him right after his last visits to the island, he spread rumor of the benevolent spirit who lived there.
Just as he said, over the many decades to pass over Okunoshima, soon small rural villages would rise, and Hematite bared witness to the intricacies of human life—from its earliest moments to what it evolved to over the years. Hematite was sighted a few times by the new settlers—many who heard the rumors spread by Yasū were understandably still a little shaken by the gem, whose original shyness kept them separate for the most part. However a few villagers got the idea that being on the good side of this rabbit spirit would benefit them. Every here and now they would offer her small gifts in the form of baskets filled with small treats and offerings, something that truly both astounded yet also deeply warmed the gem. It was also her introduction in the various wonders of stimuli like food and many other human intricacies that she would come to enjoy.
Eventually the kindness of the people began to get to the gem, not in a bad way—but in way she felt she should honor Yasū’s wisdom and began to, at first secretly do what she could for the people. It started simple, capturing hares for them since they needed food—collecting wild seeds and vegetation for them to cultivate and consume, even using her hair as weavings to make various guides around the forest for those hunters or expediters who got lost in the forest. As her deeds became more and more noticeable—and the rumors of this strange entity bestowing kindness in the wildlands, a few of the Shinto dedicators decided to revive the small shrine into a temple—as a gift to the spirit, which Hematite would later use as her home.
Hematite bore witness to many of the events of Japan, including the Warring States period and various others where her status began to rise, she learned a vast deal of skills as she began to come out into the open of the various members of her tribe, some of which even taught her ways of the Shinobi, which complimented the graceful, stealthy warrior in many ways. The people of Okunoshima would come to elevate her status to Kami eventually, this was due to her influence in its protection during these periods. With her skills, Hematite had saved various lives on her island, and bore witness to the darker side of humanity in the process.
Later she would meet a travelling Ronin by the of Shirumase Genki, a man who would become her first lover, they would travel much of Japan, and then took ships to visit various places of the world thereafter. There’s much more to Hematite’s backstory, but it’d be best learned in and explored through roleplaying.
Additional Azurite Backstory
Azurite’s additional backstory before becoming a gem-shard experiment is rather vague, but this is only because of Homeworld’s rather vague explanation of their own past events before the warrior’s honor was put into question and she became what she is today. Azurite served alongside Azure Malachite or Jazzy, and Bluebird Azurite, Spazzy. The three were practically inseparable and served very long terms with each other thanks to both the fondness the three held for each other, and the fact they benefited each other’s combat styles so well.
In terms of the various wars she fought, I can’t give an actual number though Azurite is a veteran solder herself, but the idea of what veteran translates to in Homeworld is a little difficult to explain. Since much of Homeworld’s past has been left ambiguous so much of her own past is just as ambiguous due to this.

Nephrite Facet X3C2 Cut 6HK
Nephrite is a unique prototype weapon designed for the field for yellow diamond, though the expensive materials and nature of the gem eventually led to it being considered a failure as mass production was out of the question for this gem. The gems’ light-form exists on an odd frequency, making her almost etheric, rendering physical weaponry incapable of making contact with her, however energy based weapons are still effective against her, if not moreso. She displays a dangerous trait being able to manipulate particles, firing them as concentrated low-yield particle beams and transforming the particle energy into bladed-forms for close combat. Her personality is often described as aloof and despite being a combat-gem, enjoys peace and calm, and despises conflict of any form.

Yellow Peridot – “Yelle.”
A proctor who was found in derelict ruin some time ago by Padparascha and Hematite, the proctor had become victim to a mass-rift pocket-dimension experiment that trapped her there for almost two millennia along with several other peridots who worked under her. Due to her time there, the damage of being in this foreign realm has caused her some kind of mental lull—the gem blanks out constantly and is in danger of dissemination due to her inability to consistently work her position. She shares the same abilities as any other Peridot though has an intelligibly advantage in the realm of crafted gear and materials. Yelle is often described as strangely intelligent, but nervous of confrontation and obedient to a fault.

Azure Malachite – “Jazzy”
One of Azurite’s old companions during the wars before their ill-fated demise at the first battles with the rebellions. Due to a bad choice of tactics on Azurite’s call the gems were caught off guard by a rebel raid and Jazzy was shattered in the fray. Before Jazzy was shattered, many gems knew her as one of the most laid-back and confident gems in the force—nothing really seemed to faze her and her airy demeanor only belied her constant worrying of her team which hung in the back of her mind. Jazzy, despite her stoic nature was a large intimidating and incredibly strong gem, where Azurite was called the ‘muscly stick,’ Jazzy was muscular monster of a gem who was much like a Jasper actually, though with sound training, azurite could wield the massive swords they utilized into combat only barely—Jazzy swung and wielded the massive blades with ease, a strength that transferred to Azurite herself thanks to the gem-shard operation.

Bluebird Azurite – “Spazzy”
Another one of the old members of azurite’s group who met her fate at one of the first battles with the rebellion. Spazzy was a strange gem, her ability was incredibly effect at neutralizing opponents and dishing out a hectic matter to any gem crazy enough to stand by her—but it required that Spazzy, well act quite Spazzily, and act out thanks to her own very volatile emotions. The complete opposite of Jazzy, she was far from a laid back gem, constantly expressing her dislikes, worries, and intents quite openly however the gem display an honesty and care for her fellow companions that could only be rivaled by Azzy herself in terms of the bonds they shared with each other. Spazzy was shorter than the two but still stout and strong looking. She seemed however to suffer due to her ability, as it would actually cause her form to deteriorate as she became more emotional. Sometimes called Ms. Glitter, the gem released a glittering substance that when absorbed, caused hallucinatory effects in gems though at the cost of the health of her light-form.
