Sapphire explored the docks with her son Hamster Ruby. The two corundums walked down the boardwalk, discussing what to do if a Homeworld gem appears. "If a Homeworld gem tries to shatter you, summon your Army and your HamHam immediately! You must be safe. If you shatter, our hopes of survival wil lessen! Also, you must train. If you do not train, your skill will be that of a plain Ruby," sapphire said. She summoned an arrow and threw it at a tree. Then the arrow dissapeared: she had desummoned it. She then picked up an unused plank of wood, and used an arrow to carve it. It soon was in the shape of a tall gem. She attached a nearby rock to its shoulder, making it a realistic gem dummy. The Rock was a Volcano Rock, so Sapphire used her light to make the wooden dummy turn grey. "Poof the Volcano Rock, and I will grant you a reward."

The rodentlike Ruby followed his mother, listening to her lecture about survival. "Mommy, how am I going to 'boof' such a giant gem?" Hamster said. He rolled his blue eyes, summoning his HamHam hammer. He took a swing, and the spike sank right into the dummy's right arm. He took out the hammer, preparing to crush the dummy's head. He did so, and his hammer went right through the dummy's head. He raised his hammer, preparing his not-so-famous Pushing Blow. He spun right into the dummy, knocking it over and sending the Volcano Rock through the air. The "poofed gem" landed behind Sapphire. Hamster then said, "Well maybe I DID 'boof' such I giant gem!" The corruption laughed a very loud, cute laugh.
Blue and Opalite were used to the sound of talking at the docks, in any human area at that, but it was the carving of wood that would get their attention. They looked around to spot two gems, their alignment was unable to be told from this distance. Blue looked at Opalite and gave a small wave of her hand, Opalite nodded as feathered wings sprouted from her back and she summoned her staff. Opalite took to the air.
Blue reached to her forehead and summoned her sword. She dove into a spin dash, mainly to get the new gems' attention as she barreled in their direction. She came out of her spin dash a few yards away and looked them over, no insignia. She stood at the ready while Opalite landed on the volcanic rock and looked them over from behind. She shook her head at Blue. "Names and alignment!" Blue called out, waiting for a response.
"I am Purple Sapphire, this is my son Hamster Ruby! We are both neutral, please don't hurt my son! If you attack, you will face the consequences!" Sapphire said as soon as she heard. She summoned her bow, turning to see the Opalite and Goldstone. She looked towards Hamster, motioning for him to run. She looked back towards the two gems, glaring as a warning not to follow her son. "If it comes to it, you will face the wrath of the Survivors!" Sapphire said, gathering up a ball of light in her left hand. She knew these gems posed a threat to the Survivors, so she needed to be prepared. She did not trust these gems, aware that they could be enemies.
As soon as his mother motioned for him to run, he turned and sped. He was going too fast for a human to catch up, but what could you expect from a rodent? Hamster ducked into a bush, and watched his mother confront the two gems alone. He was not going to summon his Hamster Army just yet-he knew only to summon in dire situations. Those gems looked big and strong. He desired to race in front of his mother, screaming "Don't get my Mommy!" But he could not. He was important. But his mother was just as important! The rodentlike corruption watched from afar, waiting for the situation to nose dive. He waited and watched, hoping to summon at the perfect moment.
"Not homeworld huh?" Blue asks, her sword fizzles out of existence and she stands up straight, she wasn't afraid of the bow that the sapphire used as she was able to look down on even a jasper. She stepped forward as Opalite dissipated her staff, her wings giving a flap before also fizzling out of sight.
Blue extended a large hand as a show of peace, the gold star on her chest gave her alliance away easily. She grinned, her sharpened canines seeming menacing on they're own. "Blue Goldstone." She revealed what she was, she was a well know, but not often seen gem type, as goldstones were rare and stronger than the average quartz soldier. Her dark blue hair looked like she was wearing the night sky on her head. "That's Opalite." She pointed to the smaller, icy blue gem, her name told that she was able to control some sort of energy, her wings being a symbol of that energy being electricity.
Opalite waved lightly, she hadn't talked since these two showed up, so it was easy to tell that she was either shy or she couldn't talk. Her star couldn't be seen from this angle as it was on her back.
Sapphire desummoned her bow. If a gem desummoned their weapons, she should too as it was her manners. She also released the light she had balled up. "Hamster, come back. They are Crystal Gems," she said. She stood in a relaxed position, smiling to try and give off a positive vibe. She wanted to say "false alarm" but she would be captain obvious if she did. "Do you want to help my son train with me? I've been trying to help him improve on fighting in case of emergency, but a single gemstone can only do so much!" Sapphire said. She picked up the damaged wooden dummy and put a different volcano rock in the hole Hamster had made in its arm, finding the holes that had been made useful.
Hearing his mother's call, he raced to the side of the purple gem he called mom. "Oh 'feetsies!' I get to 'boof' another volcano rock?" Hamster said. He looked towards the two gems, their size and appearance was menacing to the small corruption. Hamster gulped, looking into Blue's cosmic hair. He enjoyed annoying Jaspers with his hammer, but a Blue Goldstone like Blue was not to be messed with. Hamster bowed his head down, desiring to solute but being unable to for his four-legged form. "So when do we train again?" the small corruption squeaked. He was exited to absolutely destroy another Volcano Stone, and he showed it. He jumped up and down just to show his exitement. He was HAPPY.
Blue smiled at the request. "Well, first things first, don't train him with inanimate objects. Use something that moves, like me and Opalite, we train with each other by sparring." Blue explains as she walks over to the wooden dummy. She summons her sword and swings it through the air. It seems to have missed, before the board falls in half. "I used to train quartz soldiers with sparring, why should a little thing like him be any different?" Blue says and turns to face the tiny red gem. "Now, come at me with all you've got." She says and readies herself for an attack by standing in a defensive position. She waited and watched, her eyes looked like they could detect anything.
Hamster summoned his hammer, and waited for a moment. He had the hammer on his shoulder, and then he backed up. He was on his two back paws, a rare occurrence. "If you insist," he said, drawing back his hammer for a powerful attack. He then struck Blue with all his might, but he was WAY too close. The handle of his hammer hit instead of the spikes, it didn't do much. He immediately desummoned his hammer, preparing another attack. He was going for it, like a real fight. He leaped at Blue, pawing and clawing her head. His attack only scratched her, of course, but it would be a distraction. He then leaped off Blue, preparing to summon. "Cm'on!"
Sapphire listened to Blue and watched the training battle. She usually only used training battles as a final assessment, but if Blue insisted she would go and do it. Hamster Ruby was destructive, and she didn't want to go and let Hamster destroy everything. "Stall her to catch her off guard! Remember what I taught you!" Sapphire said. "Whatever you do, don't call her a foot!" Well, that last bit would not work. Hamster always called his opponent a foot. Sapphire backed up, she knew when summoning Hamster would get messy. She made small white lines marking the battlefield, she dint want this to go way too far. In case it went too far, she balled up a but if light.
Blue grinned and stood there, taking the attacks. She closed her eyes before she opened them quickly and dove forward into a spin dash. She traveled the perimeter of which the sapphire had set up before circling back inward at blistering speed. She came out of the spin dash right next to the ruby and in one swift motion, grabbed him, lifted him up, spun and slammed him back onto the ground, making sure not to poof him. She held him there and pointed her sword down at him. "If any quartz soldier could keep calm, they can pull that off. By now you would have been poofed and shattered." Blue stood up straight, this small gem was not used to actual, proper combat. "You're not tough enough on him." Blue turned to look at the sapphire. "When training, don't baby him, if he's stuck in a life or death situation in his condition. It's gonna be death."

Listening angrily to the warrior's talk, the rodentlike corruption summoned his Hamster Army. "Get her! Don't stop until she's 'boofed!' Get her with all your power!" the angry Ruby said. All ten stone beings zoomed at Blue, and circled her. One by one, they leaped at her and attempted furiously to poof the powerful gem. They scratched, bit, kicked, and even pulled at her skin. Hamster shrugged-he had spent time teaching them that what they were currently doing was only a distraction to enemies and they needed to do stuff like fuse together and whack the enemies with giant objects.. But, being stone beings that didn't even exist half the time, the Army did not listen. Hamster did not even know if the beings could fuse anyway. "Grr, ya want something done right, you gotta do it yourself..." he said, summoning his hammer. He raced at Blue as the stone rodents jumped off Blue, and then sent his hammer right into her chest, right where her gemstone would have been had it been on her chest. He immediately took it out and attacked with everything he had learned, Sapphire might not have trained him well enough as to make him strong enough to defeat Stampy but he could attack anything and there would be a long-lasting, searing pain. He spun on his back legs, holing the hammer with his front legs as he spun towards Blue.
Blue fell into a kneel as she was bombarded with attacks. Opalite stood stiil, she actually grinned, something was up. But little could be done as Blue stood up quickly and brought her fist out to meet the hammer head on, cracking it in the process. She grabbed the hammer and dove into a spin dash, taking it and the tiny red gem with her. She came out of the spin dash and threw the gem and his hammer. "Is that it?" She asked, her skin smoking from the spin dash. The small gem was clearly right to fear this larger soldier, as he had not left a mark on her, other than a small scratch on her cheek, but this was more than many could do.
Hamster desummoned his hammer. He was angry. He didn't want to poof her anymore-he wanted to SHATTER her. His boiling rage surged through his body, every little bit of his mind desired to rid himself of that gem. He resummoned his hammer, it was now fixed. He could send his spike right though Blue's gemstone, but he remembered what his mother said. Stall her to gain an advantage, Hamster thought. "So this is how you wanna play, huh? You wanna play bad fuzzy buddy? I'll play bad fuzzy buddy with you. Yeah, you wanna go rough? You wanna stoop to life or death? I'll show you life and death! But first, yeah first, we gonna get down to the bottom! The bottom of this pit, where every movement will HURT BAD! You are DONE hitting me with something I can't even avoid! I feel pain just like you! Do you know how much it hurts?" he said. It was a rhetorical question. He glared at Blue, waiting.

This Roleplay is a prequel to Steven Universe to an extent with some slight retconing and its own progression to the story that will turn out differently to how stuff plays out in the show. Thanks to the message by Rose Quartz several gems are rising up to protect Earth and have labelled themselves as the Crystal Gems. Others on earth are remaining aligned to Homeworld though despite the isolation of Earth from Homeworld
All gems on earth are still stranded, the communication hub is still offline and all the space warps are shattered, it has now been revealed that this is the work of Rose Quartz and her small group known as the Crystal gems. Now both sides are fighting among themselves along with fighting against the 'Corruption' a virus is infecting many gems turning most of them into mindless monsters, but those with a stronger will seem to becoming something more sinister.
The Game has changed now. The question has finally been posed, are you against Homeworld or allied with them. Or do you have your own agenda that may or may not been assisted by the ‘Corruption’.
