As people began to submit their collectible, eye-catching tokens to the gems, Ame's brows drifted upward in relative surprise. There was a familiar exhilaration at having earned the humans' credit, but that feeling commingled with a churning sensation close to her adrenaline-like instinct; once the credit was earned, she and the other gems would have to prove that trust was placed rightly on them. Her smile became a bit weighted by nervousness, and she wracked her mind for things the three could do that wouldn't be too mundane-- or so spectacular that this gathering would end in hysteria.
Azurite began to introduce her next trick, while Ame swiveled to glance at the other gems; The Honor Guard seemed confident and even energized by the crowd, but on the other hand, she was quick to spot Chevron's reserved embarrassment. Ame gave her a grin and a thumbs up before leaning her elbow on the roof of the SUV,"Don't worry! Once we have enough cash we can go right to the movie," She kept her volume low but her tone was light and upbeat. She gave a little shrug before going on,"If you don't feel like dealing with this stuff, you don't gotta,"
Her attention swiveled to Azurite for a moment,"Hey, want a boost for this one by chance?" Ame gave a smirk. She wasn't entirely sure what techniques were involved in an upside down, double dunkin spinneretta mount'tebella, but if a feat of strength could be useful for giving Azurite a head start on her performance, then the quartz was more than ready to contribute.

Chevron looked over a little thrown off as Ame seemed to echo the thoughts in her head, she wasn’t sure if she could truly bring herself into performing something like this out of nowhere. To be honest she wasn’t sure she had a trick other than some interesting maneuvers she learned to pull off at her max velocity. “V’ell.” She started and then listened to Azurite’s very strange sounding maneuver she was about to pull-off herself, she ran it through her head a few times—both the name of the maneuver and what she should use to entertain these creatures herself.
“Ee’f they do not v’ish see any of my meanuve’rres’ I v’ill v’ithhold myself.” She’d reply and watch Azurite with due anticipation.
Azurite had just activated the engines on the blade—though oddly kept it in its folded positioned, when Ame offered a bit of help for this one, “Actually, yeah, when I give the signal, or something just give me a good toss into the air, if that’s alright?” She’d say and then with powerful upward lob, she sent the blade flipping aggressively into the air, “I haven’t pulled this one out in years, but check it!” she’d make whistling form with her fingers and then throw a pitch at the blade that suddenly sprung it to life. In an instant the weapon extended itself and began to fly straight toward the sky until pulling a dead drop.
It would swing around, and Azzy would keep her gaze locked on it as the flying sword pulled inward and began to make a rendezvous right above them, “Alright, Ame! Give me a toss!”
The gathered people watched Glitterdance with wide eyes and gasps as Azurite flung it into action. Ame watched it go up for a moment, then swiveled to give Chevron a solid, understanding nod; though, something told her that these humans would love to see Chevron's talent for flight in action. Her attention was quickly called back by the Honor Guard,"Right on!" She exclaimed, giving another cheesy thumbs up, this time to Azurite, but also a bit for the cameras.
Throwing people was a bit different than throwing a disk or a ball, and Azurite probably wasn't a light gem, but tossing weight around was a skill Ame had perfected over the course of her months working in the quarry. She stretched her arms, shoulders, and rolled her neck to pop it, then cracked her knuckles-- she reached out and grabbed Azurite's waist,"Gonna need some room!" She called to the crowd, hoping they might disperse a little; some backed up quite a bit, while others seemed to want to be in the range of fire. The burly gem swiveled, began to spin in order to gather more and more momentum, and gave a quick look into the direction of Glitterdance before her massive musculature tensed and she hurled Azurite in the direction she was looking,"Uff!" She stumbled out of step with inertia, and kept her eyes on Azurite.

Chevron actually had to stand back, the little violet gem was absolutely amazed by the physical prowess of these two, it often went over her head, but she realized the massive weapon Azurite wielded on her own could have weighed half-a-ton itself, and for the warrior to simply toss it into the air the way she did was both fascinating and terrifying, Azurite wielded that weapon like it was extension of herself.
Chevron didn’t want to image being on the receiving end of a arcing cleave from that monster.
But right when she thought the feats of strength had ended, her sister in minerals reached out and took the lengthy muscular sentinel by the waist, and with might unlike anything she had ever seen, threw Azurite into the air towards the blade as it seemed to be making swoop to rendezvous with her midflight. Chevron was astonished to say the least, gawking a wide stare at the two and even back away a little.
These two could literally crush her in an open-arms battle. It here this day she realized how fortunate she was to not be on the rebel’s side, especially, not with these two hunting her down.
Azurite took a small breath of air, not out of nervousness, no, but anticipation for the rush and adrenaline surging through her. One thing she loved doing was practicing sword tricks, and though this was a particular move she had pulled off rather well without any real issues, the added instance of being thrown was something she couldn’t account for, but chose to enjoy it nonetheless.
Not exactly sure how this was going to pop off, the super[solder beside her took her by the waist of all places, which was certainly appreciated as she was half-thinking the hair was the second place she was gonna go for and readied herself, “Alright, yo! Let’s Go-wahhh!-AHHH!!” being flung was sort of an understatement, she was chucked and had she not been accustomed to this kind of sudden force, she would of probably botched this.
But thank goodness she didn’t, the forces of gravity practically making her cheeks puff out as she soared upward, the gem managed to control herself and with a quick tuck, started to use this built up moment to flip furiously into the air almost speed dash her cousin gem pulled off but at a much slower rotation. She’d wait and then finally extending her legs, the blade would swoop by, catching her at an upside-down angle that would be vertigo inducing to anyone else that wasn’t the trained solder.
She’d leave their view for a moment, before swooping back around with loud crack as she flew over them, the humans watching going into a wild applaud at the spectacle before them.
Ame shielded her eyes from the sun with one hand as she kept her gaze on Azurite. There wasn't much she could do if something went awry, but Chevron might be able to do air control while the other purple quartz kept with crowd control. Her eyes widened and her jaw dropped as the Honor Guard's feet met with some force to the surface of the sword, and she swooped out of view. Then her gaze turned to Chevron and she gave a giddy smile.
The purple quartz watched for a moment, hoping the blue gem knew what she was doing with this trick. Of course she did, but Ame's mind couldn't help trying to prepare for worst case scenarios. Then, the Honor Guardian zipped down through the clouds, and the crowd's resounding response pulled her attention over to the humans crushing around the gems. Many of them reached into their pockets to hand more cash over, which Ame accepted, and began counting. Collectively there was already enough to get the tickets, but it would be a sad viewing experience without some kind of snack to go with it...Ame already knew that she could inhale a large popcorn in seconds, so she wondered what else could be done to keep these humans entertained.
Her eyes then turned to the SUV that the other gems had been standing on moments ago. She could perhaps lift an object of that weight, but the unwieldy shape meant having some help would prevent damage to the quite delicate mechanics of human machines. Her gaze trailed up to the man who had proclaimed his concern over the vehicle earlier, who was still pacing around just at the edge of the crowd, looking somewhat disgruntled. Ame let her eyes dart around to pick up some context from the signage, then piped up,"Hey, it's fifteen minute parking here buddy, looks like you're gonna need some help to avoid getting a ticket hmm?"
The man's eyes widened as his lips fell open, he could only guess what this gigantic purple she-hulk was planning to do with his precious SUV,"Y-yeah, but I'll just move it!"
"Not in this crowd!" Ame called over the excitement, and cracked her knuckles. The mass was indeed getting bigger, people crowded over the sidewalk and the street to get a look at what was going on over here,"We'll wait for Azzy though, there's more cool stuff she can do with that sword,"

Chevron was genuinely impressed by the sentinel’s expertise in avionic maneuvers, something she could appreciate, when she had the time to practice her flying in Serendibite’s complex training facilities, she had her own small tricks she would pull—little did she know that she was one of Serendibite’s finest aerial units ever created—much to many of the other airborne species that roamed K-Sigma dismay. Chevron never quite understood why so many of the other avionic gem templates there had such an issue with her, but unbeknownst to her, it was a matter of envy.
She made a timid smile to her hulking friend in response to the growing excitement, she felt compelled herself to pull off a trick of her own, but it would seem her companion had something of her own show in mind. Hopping off the SUV, she tilted her head at the odd words she was hearing, parking ticket? And moving the car? She connected some thoughts and then realized her companion intended to move this thing! Surely she didn’t think Chevron could help?
Chevron looked to the sky, hoping their companion would land soon.
“Oh yeah! I’m badass! Uh-huh! Uh-huh! Yessir!” Azurite would shout melodically as she swung back around on her levitating blade, making a strong man gesture with her hands as she slowly but surely came to ground level, she watched the humans around her throwing their hands up in excitement, some of them were so shocked they almost couldn’t believe what they were seeing, which made since, a blue woman was flying around on sword—it was a little unbelievable. Just a little. She then flew parallel to the car that Amethyst was prompt on with a raised brow, just what was her sister planning?
She hoped off, and saw Chevron seemed to back off, reading the situation and the shocked look on the petite gem's little face, it seemed her she-hulkin’ friend was ready to pull off something wild with this car. “Yo, Ame, wassup?” she’d ask as she walked next to the vehicle. “Hmmm, how far we chuckin this car? Fifty-feet? Into the horizon?” she surmised, it would make for an extraordinary feat of strength for the two to lift it—but it was definitely possible.
Ame watched with crossed arms and a grin while Azurite made her way back down. The roaring excitement from the crowd gathered around them imbued her with more energy-- like she could run the Earth's equator several times and still be up for more. It was almost easy to forget the whole reason they were doing this was to make money, and it wasn't until other patrons began handing over their colorful bills that she was reminded of that. Ame made sure to grab what she could, though it was clear people wanted to see more feats from the gems.
A pallor came over the SUV owner's complexion as Azurite's suggestion hit his ears, and both hands went to the side of his head as he wracked his mind,"W-wait! No! Absolutely not! None of that!"
Ame smiled at Azurite, but her expression lowered as the human began pacing frantically, before he reached into his pocket and pulled out a sleek black phone. The purple quartz tapped her chin,"Hmm, okay, no worries my guy we wont throw it if you don't want us too," She shrugged, throwing it probably would have caused spectacular collateral damage, would be fun to see no doubt, but she had her own concerns about tossing SUVs around in cities,"We can just move it," She glanced around, and found a good spot some ways up the street, then pointed,"How about there?" She grinned to Azurite, then looked to the human for his input

Chevron’s lips flattened at the sight of the human becoming increasingly stressed, her much older and respected comrade had drifted into their presence on her awe-inspiring bladed glider and left the winged-gem a little jealous of her showmanship. She pouted as she continued to watch the two, she suddenly felt left out, a little out of the circus loop if one could put It that way, here, were two incredibly talented gems earning something for their talents while she sat there twiddling her thumbs. Her gaze became all the harsher as she realized the two were about lift this odd mechanization to their own advantage.
She began taking steps back watching with crossed arms, both interested and displeased with her own inability to act.
“Aw’man,” Azurite seemed a little disappointed they weren’t about to fling this car into the horizon, it would have been like the action movies, a big ol’ explosion catching fire to the buildings, and don’t forget the slow-mo running humans dodging and weaving through it. Would be glorious. “Alright, fine, fine. Would of been great though.” She said with a hunch of her shoulders. Then, extending her arms in front of her, locking her fingers together as she stretched her joints which popped profusely, she marched to the rear of the SUV and with a last crick of her neck, squatted as she prepared to dead lift the vehicle with the help of her comrade. “Ready when you are!”
Ame shrugged at her fellow gems, it was hard to explain the fact that she didn't want to end up on the wrong side of the law here too. If she was on the run from Homeworld, being on the run from Earthling officers would make things much more difficult, as it had often done back in Empire City. Aside from that, she'd learned to take care around the comparatively fragile creations of humanity, as well as the humans themselves
After shooting a grin over to the nervous bystander watching his SUV become a prop for a street show, the huge amethyst quartz sauntered over to the opposing side of the vehicle,"Three," She began, calling over to Azurite as she squatted down and squared up, then firmly gripped the SUV,"Two," Her muscles tightened, coiled and compressed, winding up and preparing herself for the heft of the vehicle,"One!-- Hupp!" Ame heaved the front end of the two-ton SUV, hoping that Azurite would be right there with her. Two-tons was a lot of weight, even for war machines like herself and the Honor Guardian, but as she huffed with effort, the SUV creaked, and it's wheels began to raise up from the pavement. "Whoo!" She breathed as her arms burned, but she still had plenty of energy left-- as long as she paced herself.
The SUV owner looked on with an increased pallor, almost as if all signs of life had drained from the man as he watched, helpless as two aliens began to take his SUV to another spot on the street.

Chevron continued watch with a growing interest, it wasn’t that she didn’t have any faith in her companions—but her knowledge of the workings of other gems was sorely lacking, she couldn’t even imagine these two lifting such a massive construct. But eventually her nervous fidgeting stopped in due amazement and her arms wrapped around her in a timid stance fell limply as her expression went to utterly astonished, the two manage to get the monstrosity off the floor and though she sensed it was at the edge of both of their limits, what they were doing was a feat that she knew she couldn’t do no matter how hard she tried.
But eventually as the two began to move the vehicle, her eyes went from amazed to worried, what if they dropped it, what if it was too heavy for both of them and they ended up under this thing? She would never forgive this construct or the human who owned it if it managed to harm the two. Her legs were moving before she could realize what was happening, walking along with the two nervously as they hauled the vehicle along, “Amee’thyst! Azz’ee. Are you okay!?” risking to break their concentration just to get some kind of confirmation that they were okay.

This Roleplay is a prequel to Steven Universe to an extent with some slight retconing and its own progression to the story that will turn out differently to how stuff plays out in the show. Thanks to the message by Rose Quartz several gems are rising up to protect Earth and have labelled themselves as the Crystal Gems. Others on earth are remaining aligned to Homeworld though despite the isolation of Earth from Homeworld
All gems on earth are still stranded, the communication hub is still offline and all the space warps are shattered, it has now been revealed that this is the work of Rose Quartz and her small group known as the Crystal gems. They have rebelled against Homeworld and have chosen to protect the Earth (Trapping themselves on Homeworld to keep the warps down).
Now both sides are fighting among themselves along with fighting against the 'Corruption' a virus is infecting many gems turning most of them into mindless monsters, but those with a stronger will seem to becoming something more sinister.
The Game has changed now. The question has finally been posed, are you against Homeworld or allied with them. Or do you have your own agenda that may or may not been assisted by the ‘Corruption’. Regardless the seeds have been placed down and although it is only the beginning the fight for or against Earth and the corruption has begun. The choice is yours for how it is shaped on the Original Steven Universe Roleplay Site.
