(If Corrupted)Monster Form: - If corrupted his physical form would change into a ghostly form, cold and silent. His face blacked out, only the form of his chattering teeth visible. The rest of his body clocked in shadow, his inner peace turning into inner horror that is flowing from his gem.

Appearance: Tall, around 6 foot with a very thin build. Pale tan skin with a deep neon green shine to his eyes, and the same color hair to match, his hair is buzzed short on both sides leaving the hair atop his head. Sharpe face features and rectangle glasses that turn black in direct sunlight. Most noticeable feature of him would have to be the slight chipping of his teeth. Clothing wise he can be found in lose black Dickie shorts and a white hoodie almost always hood up to shade his face.
Personality: Variscite is shy... And jumpy... Always paranoid of something bad around the corner, or hiding in the shadows. This isn't to say he is a coward or up to something bad, just that he thinks it smarter to be on guard. Though he tries to keep calm he is very short temperd when it comes to small things.
Likes/Dislikes: Likes: Human sweets, Video Games, Space, Sleep; Dislikes: Darkness, Being in large groups, Spiders
Fears: Cracking gem, Fusion, Surprises, Dogs....
Weapon: Ball & Chain, a large crystal ball around the size of a basketball, linked to a 6 foot chain. The ball can detatch from the chain sending the ball flying and can be detonated shooting out shards in every direction.
Ability 1: Shatter! - After his crystal ball explodes its shards scatter and Variscite can manipulate the shards with his chain, sending the flying crystal shards in any direction he wants. If most of the shards go too far from him they will reform back into the ball until he comes within range. (Range - 50 feet before lose of use)
Ability 2: Soothe Song - Not so much of a combat ability, to try and stop some fights from happening or even just to ease an argument Variscite can channel his inner calm outward in a wave of energy from his gem that soothes the minds of most Gems. (Only last a short amount of time and CAN be ignored if someone is enraged enough or denies the effect.)

History: Born on Earth, alone for a very long time as after his Gem being created he found himself alone so he began to wonder for such a long time he dosnt know really how long (Around 1000 years.) While meeting other Gems he wasn't sure how to really handle traveling with them when they ask... So he lied to them claiming he had friends waiting for him somewhere. After making the lie to them it drove him crazy, feeling like he rejected his own kind. He contued to wonder Earth enjoying the sites, he slowly was able to train himself into creating his weapon after run ins with Corrupted creatures that would attack him. Though he was more for running from them as not wanting to hurt another Gem.
It wasn't until slightly later he began to learn how to control and use his ability's, he began to think why he was here and since having little to no time with other Gems or even Humans he didn't have a solid idea in his head why he was here. One day while walking near a town called Beach City he sound a human... Hurt by what looked like some kind of slash that seemed too clean for a normal blade, once realizing it was by a gem weapon he approached the human only for the young man to start to panic and tried to crawl away. Variscite began to grow mad that the human was trying to avoid him while he only wanted to help, "Is it like... This for all Gems?" He would think before almost snapping at the man for trying to crawl away.
Grinding his teeth he sighs and slowly hums a tune which... Made him feel... Good, at peace. After opening his eyes and looking twords the man he found him... Calm and in less pain. He had a real conversation with this young man, after taking him to the front door of the hospital, Variscite vanished leaving him in the safe hands of the humans. The longer he looked out over the water he felt... Good... Like new home good.
Arc: Since pretty much being abandoned and alone from the very start, Variscite found no joy in the site of other Gems, though he rarely came across many, same with the Humans. He felt more alone by the day, until coming across a young man... Variscite spoke with him about what happen... a Gem... one of his own people had harmed a human for BEING a human.... now he must find hope... hope for a brighter tomorrow, hope for his own Race, or just hope for a good breakfest... start small and see what he can get.
