The dark hued figure of one retired soldier of Homeworld stood on the wooden docks of Beach City, his eyes on the multiple Nautical Vehicles humans apparently used in order to transport across the sea; Unlike gems, it seemed like they needed Oxygen in their bodies, for whatever reason, and were unable to acquire the oxygen within the water; so staying inside it for too long meant they died. Fascinating, to be honest; He didn't truly understand why humans even needed something like Oxygen in their systems; being a gem meant he pretty much could go on existing with absolutely no substance what so ever in his body. It made him wonder how boring would it get for him in the future; He was relatively young for a gem, only around a millenia or so old, and he had already been ready to jump into another planet just to escape from the boredom brought in by Home world. That did not speak well of his possible future.
The black gem moved around the wooden docks, his eyes glancing to the humans moving around the area, some of them jumping into the small vessels. It was strange; there were so many things that could kill humans so easily, but they always seemed to be entirely unaware of this. There were few things that could kill gem other than another gem, so the black gem tended to walk around rather carelessly, until confronted with other self aware rocks.
Sneaking into one of the many boats and yachts that were docked, he rested on the roof of its cabin lazily, watching clouds float up in the sky. He was considering what to do; the boats were kind of new to him. Maybe he could hijack one for a joyride? It would be annoying if he got himself lost, though; especially in the sea. It was damn huge, if he had to traverse it to get back to the temple he would probably cry lazy tears.
"What to do, what to do..." Have a joyride or maintain safety of his laziness?
