Name: Ares's Wrath
Gem sealed within it:
Eudialyte
Appearance: A single Pauldron attached to one sided chest plate, the gem located on the inside of the shoulder pad.
Sentient: No
History: Millenniums ago, during the beginnings of the Greek Empire, one particular set of gems were born. This gems, with their magical powers and superhuman capabilities, seemed like gods to the primitive humans that formed the smalls civilizations from the past. And true to their arrogant nature, this gems not only allowed them to adore them as gods; they encouraged them, Forced them, even. Contrary to the popular belief, the greek pantheon was very real. It just so happens that it wasn't made up of gods; it was made of Gems.
One of those Gems was dubbed by the humans as: Ares, God of War, and by far the most reckless, not to mention extremely arrogant. His arrogance was only outdone by Zeus himself. The god of war had an affinity for violence, chaos and suffering, and enjoyed dispensing all of this thoroughly onto both gems and humans alike. He was known for arbitrarily jumping into wars between humans and helping one side for no reason other than for the sake of fighting.
He was also known for being a coward; the moment it seemed like the scales were being tipped against his side, he would either switch sides, or run away from the battle field, unable of accepting the possibility of defeat at the hands of 'mere humans'. His arrogance ultimately led to his fall, when another one of the 'gods', Athena, defeated him in combat by letting him gloat and boast while she prepared her tactics against him. His gem was sealed by Athena into a Shoulder Pad of Holy steel, and passed down to a Human Warrior Blessed by Athena herself.
The Shoulder Pad and Armor were lost to time, but some say the last place it was seen was somewhere in Persia...
Ability:
-Shield Construction: The user can construct shields and shield-like objects to defend themselves, which can be composed of organic or inorganic matter, energy, etc. Somewhat stronger gems (Refined and up) can utilize this power to reflect any power (lower than their own) that is launched against them without being harmed. This serves as a means of self-defense and counter-attack. Even if the user is stronger than their opponent, the shield is not invincible, so they should not get cocky and assume it can't be broken through.
The reflective capabilities, once used, require a 2 turn cooldown in which any shield created is easily destroyed by the opponent until the end of said cooldown.
