The Homeworld was now well aware of Rose Quartz's intentions of rebellion for the planet known as Earth in the solar system Sol. She had even began to form an alliance of other gems to help in her fight for the planet. While Homeworld was more than confident in their strength to squash the rebels, precautions were put into play to assure victory. Heliotrope was one of these precautions. She was a gem for hire with no real affiliation, though more recently she had been selling herself as a fusion component for any missions she agreed to. She had mostly taken more low profile missions to avoid conflict, but now her only feasible option seemed to be working for the Homeworld directly in order to stop the coming rebellion. Her mission was to infiltrate Rose's army and destroy it from the inside out. She would have no real assistance from Homeworld on this, having to use stealth and espionage to complete her task. Heliotrope preferred not having back-up, it meant that she didn't have to put faith in anyone but herself, however this would mean that she would have no one to her rescue if she was discovered.
Heliotrope was now on a Homeworld ship under White Diamond's authority on course to Earth. When she stepped on the ship, she quickly found a room for herself to stay in for the duration of the trip. She did not wish to interact with the others upon the ship, for if any of them recognized her on Earth, they could give away her identity and compromise her mission.
In her room, she kept the lights low, creating a lance, the largest of her weapon forms, and pierced it into the floor in the center of her chambers. Holding onto the long silk banner attached to its handle, she stretched and danced around the lance like an acrobat on a straight pole. The slow rhythmic motions helped her clear her mind of what had been and what was to come. She was a master of seduction, using it to her advantage both on and off the battlefield, but for this mission she would need it to help gain her access and acceptance to the rebel army. Not so much a new concept for her, but she had never done it on such a large scale as a whole army. She was more anxious than nervous though, considering she still saw this as just another mission and one that she wanted to be done with as soon as possible.
Heliotrope sighed softly as she danced on her pole masterfully.
