Personality: Red is unfortunately bound to have a split personality most of the time. Her normal self is usually friendly, playful and rather curious about the world that she never had a chance to explore. However her second personality is extremely sadistic, evil and has the wish to destroy everything that stands in her way.

Likes/Dislikes: Trying new things, freedom/ Confined spaces.

Fears: Loneliness

Weapon: Rapier made with a single, sharp and narrow crystal, with a closed rose shaped hilt. When in her evil form it takes a more needle like shape to it. (can be used as projectiles)


Ability 1: Battle Hardened. The more damage Red takes the bigger the crystal in her body become, it causes both her defenses and attacks to get significantly stronger when she is in a 'near-death' situation.

Ability 2: Crystal Manipulation: She can use the crytals that come out of her body as catalyst for power and attacks or even as blunt object to be used as weapons, however, If she reaches her limit her body and Gem are engulfed in Hardened crystals, causing her to once again fall asleep inside of it while she recovers.

Fusions: none so far.

History: The Red Diamond family was a force to be reckoned with. Ferocious and battle hardened Gems which became stronger as their wounds grew in number, making them the perfect front line for battle. But they still had to prove their worth to the Homeworld, or be destroyed and labeled as 'enemies'.


Red was the youngest of the sisters, and ended up paying the price for that as her mother forced her to train harder and become as strong as her sisters, but the young gem was more interested in living her life and enjoying the wonders of it rather then being a Warrior. Motherly love became hatred as Red Diamond forced a trial Yoon Red, which ended on her gem being shattered and struck by the Virus. Rather then letting her daughter die Diamond planted a seed, hoping it would blossom on her favor. She shattered a piece of her own gem and used it to 'fix' the Painite, causing the corruption to spread and engulf Red in a Crystal Coffin until she was old enough, hoping that would force the Painite Gem to be either consumed by the Red Diamond or at least change it enough to force the girl to become another perfect warrior of the family, not caring about what would happen to Red after a forced 'fusion'.


Still trapped inside the Crystals, only able to hear and feel the desire of battle coming from the Red Diamond powers. It was starting to overcome her own thoughts, and the solitude of being trapped day and night in the same spot, seeing the world around her live while she couldn't only helped that corrupted side of her to grow stronger giving almost full control of her body to the Red Diamond.



Character Arcs: (Who is the True Red? The two personalities can't co-exist anymore, and now Red must fight herself and discover her true self to see which side will prevail before the next sunrise.)

I apologize deeply, I noticed the plot section the moment I was done with the character application, and didn't really had the time to fix it. I promise I will get it right as quick as possible.

Considering on this Roleplay that there is no baseline attack and defence stats having a ability that increases them is awkward to actually gauge as being balanced, it basically leaves it up to the member to decide how arbitrarily strong or tanky they can be. So you could still have it causes the growth of the crystal, just that it then only has the utility of the crystal themselves and not the defence and offence increase.

((As a side,side note, if you want too, and we can discuss it pm, we could make a history that links Red Diamond more in the Triarchy of Homeworld, perhaps being that Red Diamond was the old Military leader but after the accident Yellow was promoted and took over her position (The idea on here is that Diamond is a label for the leaders and not their actual gemstone. )).

I am okay with just keeping the appearence and the crystal growth changes, but letting go of the whole attack and defense idea. And I would be honored and quite glad with a little help in the backstory department, that is for sure. ^^;;
