The temple has now been formed into a secondary hub of gem kind to help keep some crowding of the Lunar Sea Spire. The temple is filled with various rooms through the portal door in the entrance.The platform that leads to the door is also the most common place to find gems mingling. The rooms within the temple seem to serve every purpose including training and gem containment. One of the most used rooms in the temple is the 'burning room', a large red coloured room with a lava pit for banishing cursed items. Along with this the rooms serves as a anchor for most corrupted bubbled gems that people teleport. Despite its use very few gems seem to be able to actually summon the door way into the room from the entrance
With all this in mind its no wonder that the temple and beach city have become a home for many gems now. The entrance doorway that used to only have 4 gems on it is now littered with all colours and styles gems representing the rooms that seemed to mysteriously be created when a gem infront of the door wishes for a place to call home. The fact that alot of the rooms also seemed to be connected has opened the opportunity for many of the light hearted residents to embrace many shenanigans and pranks on other members leading to many comparisons that the temple is now like a Gem Kind college dorm.

Morion: Chip is right. It is dead like the dodo. Its "popularity" never skyrocketed; attracted a small fanbase but not enough to not to be cenceled after the 5th season. The animation was weak at best with a story of giant plotholes. She-Ra filled the void it left

Morion: by The Legend of Korra for example. But in She-Ra it had a prominent focus point, showing Bow's two dad as a normal pair, the realtionships, ands so on (Scorpia and Perfuma, Micah and Angella to name a few) heck even managed to portray -->

Morion: Rogelio, Kyle and Lonnie threeway relationship as a working and normal one. ND Stevenson comfirmed, Rogelio and Kyle were a thing and Lonnie was part of it too! It took balls of steel to portray THAT in a kid's show,even with subtile hints but they did it.

Plot Overview
This Roleplay is a prequel to Steven Universe to an extent with some slight retconing and its own progression to the story that will turn out differently to how stuff plays out in the show.Thanks to the message by Rose Quartz several gems are rising up to protect Earth and have labelled themselves as the Crystal Gems. Others on earth are remaining aligned to Homeworld though despite the isolation of Earth from Homeworld
All gems on earth are still stranded, the communication hub is still offline and all the space warps are shattered, it has now been revealed that this is the work of Rose Quartz and her small group known as the Crystal gems. They have rebelled against Homeworld and have chosen to protect the Earth (Trapping themselves on Homeworld to keep the warps down).
Now both sides are fighting among themselves along with fighting against the 'Corruption' a virus is infecting many gems turning most of them into mindless monsters, but those with a stronger will seem to becoming something more sinister.
The Game has changed now. The question has finally been posed, are you against Homeworld or allied with them. Or do you have your own agenda that may or may not been assisted by the ‘Corruption’. Regardless the seeds have been placed down and although it is only the beginning the fight for or against Earth and the corruption has begun. The choice is yours for how it is shaped on the Original Steven Universe Roleplay Site.

*Thanks to Rose Quartz' message the Gems on Earth are entirely aware that the Homeworld Gems intend to wipe out the human race.
*The "corruption"'s Origin is still unknown, some suspect it was a viral infection, other claim it was a Diamond experiment gone awry and other suspect the organics were behind it. Regardless no one seem to have a proper answer about what it was and why its only isolated to Earth
