The hot sun beat down on the desert sands, the warp glowed bright as a figure appeared. After a few seconds Amon appeared on the warp, staring around at the scenery. Noticing the large structure's in front of him, he slowly made is way towards them, instantly feeling the heat on his body. After a while you could physically see the heat waves coming off him. After arriving at the ruins Amon, now really annoyed and frustrated, aggressively leant on one of the huge brick towers, causing it to fall over and collapse. Now sitting on the ground with his arms crossed Amon's frustrations only grew. "Ugh, when are they gonna get here" He sighed, laying down in the hot sand. "They should be here already." The sun only got hotter as he lay there and stared up at it. As a way to entertain himself he thought about acting completely insane and leveling Beach City completely. Fortunately though he decided against that, this meeting being too important.

"They were waiting for you trashman" A voice spoke, It seemed to be heavily muffled and originated from underneath Amon. There was a small rumble as a head emerged from the sand next to him. Slowly but surely she rose up until her entire upper torso was now above the sand, a annoyed expression spread across her face. Spahlerite touched her neck and spoke once again "He finally showed up, somehow" She spoke grumpily. Off in the distance the warps seemed to activate again. Two figures emerged and briskly walked to the other characters, still seemingly being in conversation "-nd its even harder to find the tech because gems still seem to be everywhere,i had to push one out of the stream that tried following me!" She finished.
The blue metal seemed irritated,if her heated conversation was anything to go off. She looked down at Amon with a scrutinising glare, before glancing over at the orange gem. Who seemed to smile at her "Hey Molly" The blue metal let out a irritated tick, but a hint of a smile seemed to twitch at the corner of her mouth.
"i wish you wouldn't call me that" She replied.
"Too bad, sis" She said, her grin spreading to be even bigger.
The blue metal slapped her forehead "would you please stop frolicking in the sand"
"Industrial Diamond" The other metal spoke as she looked down at Amon with her brown eyes. She seemed to have a rather thin stature, with a form fitting uniform that was segmented into three distinct colours of purple, blue and light blue. Her own skin tone was yet another lighter shade of purple and where her mouth would be there was instead a oddly shaped shard of purple and blue metal. Her chest was also covered by some sort of strange logo, that also resembled two sideways diamonds linked together. Despite her somewhat bland a appearance there was a aura of power and formality that seemed to engulf the other three gems.
Amon stood back up, gazing down at the beings around him. Tensing up, his eyes darted around to each of them. Clenching his fists slowly, he glared at the one in front, his eyes invisible from under his sunglasses.
"Covellite." He said in response, the hint of anger evident in his voice. Though he instantly decided to switch to a more jokey, sarcastic persona, knowing he couldn't beat the three of them at the same time. "Everything's going fine boss lady. Trust me, everything's going peachy." He laughed, scratching the back of his head semi-nervously. Once again, Amon shifted his gaze between the three metals in front of him. Amon scoffed and crossed his arms. "I suppose you want me to actually take this seriously, huh?" He asked, turning serious again.

"If everything is going 'peachy' why have you given us no status reports or any sort of information to work with?" There was a hint of irritation in her voice now, breaking out of her calm demeanour for a moment
"I haven't been able to do any research now because every location i seem to go too is overrun by gems" Molybdenite cut in "That would of been nice info to know beforehand and further-" Covellite raised her hand silencing the metal, Sphalerite had also decided to get herself out of the sand and was now sitting on one of her large metal hands, which was floating idly behind the two other metals.
"So you can chose to take it as seriously as you want, when you start actually getting us results for us" Covellite elaborated "a spy that isn't getting intel is either a fired spy, or a dead spy and you a neither"
She crossed her arms over "so provided that you were doing your job right, you should be able to tell us why there has been a influx of gems. Up until about a Earth year ago there seemed only be a small population of gems that was moving from here to their Homeworld and back, but come the new cycle of this planet and suddenly more of the gems seem to just be idling around at various locations." She paused again "why has this occurred?"
"Why are there so many gems here? I do have a couple of ideas about that. They have this place...the Kindergarten they call it, where they've been making more gems. I haven't been able to find out much more than that, it would seem that even the gems that come from the Kindergarten don't know much about it." Amon explained, raising his glasses above his eyes, showing the metals he was being completely serious with his explanation. "If the number of gems is really a problem," Amon smiled, letting his glasses drop back over his eyes. "Then I have the perfect solution. The gems on this planet aren't organized at all and there's no central commander of sorts to lead or organize them. So, if put up against a tough enough opponent it would be total anarchy." The smile on his face kept growing with every word said. "In terms of finding this tough opponent, I think I might have a solution to that as well."
"You see, there's this kid I found. He seems to be a pretty newly made gem. But the thing is, he's a fusion. A ridiculously unstable, volatile fusion between three gems. Because of how unstable he is by himself, if he were to fuse with me the results would be cataclysmic. A beast, the size of a mountain, hell, an island even. Plus, I've been recruiting some of the gems here to join my side." The smile started to turn more and more maniacal as he explained his plan. "If you give me permission, I can guarantee that the population of gems on this rock will be halved at the very least and completely wiped out at the most. So, Covellite?"

Covellite let out a exasperated sigh as Amon explained. Molybdenite cut in once again "We know about the kindergartens and how they work. After we sent you off we visited one, it was our first attempt at trying to create a army, but of course it didn't work and-"
"We realised that trying to create a army with Gem tech wasn't going to work, although the injections of the metal seed do yield something of small use. 'The corruption' as they seem to call it is spreading through their ranks at a slow pace, i'm sure you noticed a few gems resembling variations of our unrefined forms around." Covellite added on.
The trio of metals listened with little interest to his 'grand' plan. Thinning out the numbers of gems would be handy for their plans, but it was a thin balancing act, take out too many gems with such little subtlety would surely draw eyes from the higher ups, and the last thing they need right now was to be visible to the gem Homeworld. After that it would only be a matter of time before metal Homeworld find out about the attack and then it was guaranteed that Rhodium would send units to squash their tiny group of resistance.
Sphalerite and Molybdenite looked like they were about to speak but stopped and Covellite paced forwards towards Amon. "One tiny issue" She began "what stops the gem Homeworld from getting word of this and just sending a few powerful gems to decimate you? The last thing we need is to have Gem Homeworld get wind of our presence, because then our Homeworld will learn of our location and the last thing we want is for Rhodium to find out where we are, or have you already forgotten that we lost a war against her? And that was when both sides had a army, we don't have a army anymore, she does" The entire sentence was said in a matter-of-fact tone, but underneath that there seemed to be a hint of impatience. "So please enlighten me on what is going to stop a armada from walking out of the Galaxy warps and crushing you?"

Amon smiled very lightly at Covellite's lecture. "No matter how much I poke the hornet's nest, I can promise you we won't get stung. Not while we're on earth." Amon explained, uncrossing his arms as he did so. "I don't know what happened, who or what did it, but it would seem that all warps to get off and on earth have been completely destroyed. They may still have communication methods with the gem home-world. but they have no means of easy transport. Aside from large ships, which can be easily torn apart and can't carry enough gems to make a difference." He said, the slight smile still covering his face. "So yeah, I can still tear stuff up without fear of the big scary gems. May I have your permissions to wreak havoc now, Covellite?"

A audible (and increasing in volume) groaned emerged out of Molybdenite turning into a cry as she covered her face with her hands "Don't you think that would of been helpful info FROM THE BEGINNING" Her head whipped back up out of her hand "hours of work lost due to trying to dodge the gems, countless pieces of tech not taken due to the calibre to be suspicious. I had a crazy Opalite force me to solve a riddle just to get past him and his 'friends' and then after that-----------the worst part----------explosions------------a giant snake------------------water EVERYWHERE-------------and it didn't-------------all of it----------------------helping!----------------drills-----------------sliding panels-----------------Gem tailing------------and then------------------pushed him out----------------------------got lost--------------------found---------------then lost------------------blew up again---------------finally----------------I---------Lost again----------------------giant hands-------------------------here!" Molybdenite was a certified genius but that didn't stop all in her company zoning out whenever she began her lengthy rants.
Sphalerite let out a forced laugh after she ended and finally spoke up "I could decimate any army of gems ya" "Why do you talk like that, besides Komatiite would be more ideal" Moly muttered. "So we don't need your cut-" "Permission granted" Covellite interrupted "What!?" The two sisters yelled in unison before both of them rambled on about why it was either a bad idea (Molybdenite) or that she could do it better (Sphalerite) "we will" Covellite began raising her voice causing the other two metals to quiet down "join you once you have fused to reaffirm the mission at hand."

Hearing Covellite's words brought a massive, semi-maniacal smile to Amon's face. He had just been given permission to go full ballistic and practically commit mass genocide, if he could pull it off. The uncertainty of what exactly the Earth's gems had to offer was building up his excitement even more. "Yes Ma'am!" He shouted, giving a thumbs up and spinning to face the warp. He only took a few steps before turning back around, the smile still on his face, to say one final thing to the Forged Alloys, to Covellite. "Will there be anything else, Covellite?" Saying this, Amon flipped up his glasses again to reveal his eyes, looking as maniacally insane as his smile. At this point he had completely forgotten about the immense heat of the desert and was only focused on his thoughts and how he would go about getting Alex to fuse with him. Anything the metals said from this point on would most likely get ignored by him, but he merely asked due to formalities.

""Will there be anything else, Covellite?""
"Don't mess this up Pyrite" Covellite added with resolute finality to the statement.
After Amon left Moly spoke up again "you don't honestly think he can take that many gems do you? Even as a fusion. He abit...." "Dense" Sphalerite added "That aswell, but it will be a small miracle if he can maintain the fusion anyway, that ego of his is sure to cause problems" "I have that all planned out" Covellite explained "We really don't need him to thin the numbers anymore. I want to know what this cutoff deal is about and his little display should buys us enough time to check up the galaxy and communication hub to figure out." Molybdenite lit up excitedly "wait." She deflated back down "How do you know he will buy us that much time?" "That 'ego'" Covellite began "Wut" Sphalerite cut in rather flatly "Even if its irritating and misguided that Ego still makes him strong of mind, and that means that he should be able to maintain the fusion for awhile. Even if the other gem doesn't want to."
The Trio enter the warps and vanished from the dessert.

This Roleplay is a prequel to Steven Universe to an extent with some slight retconing and its own progression to the story that will turn out differently to how stuff plays out in the show. Thanks to the message by Rose Quartz several gems are rising up to protect Earth and have labelled themselves as the Crystal Gems. Others on earth are remaining aligned to Homeworld though despite the isolation of Earth from Homeworld
All gems on earth are still stranded, the communication hub is still offline and all the space warps are shattered, it has now been revealed that this is the work of Rose Quartz and her small group known as the Crystal gems. They have rebelled against Homeworld and have chosen to protect the Earth (Trapping themselves on Homeworld to keep the warps down).
Now both sides are fighting among themselves along with fighting against the 'Corruption' a virus is infecting many gems turning most of them into mindless monsters, but those with a stronger will seem to becoming something more sinister.
The Game has changed now. The question has finally been posed, are you against Homeworld or allied with them. Or do you have your own agenda that may or may not been assisted by the ‘Corruption’. Regardless the seeds have been placed down and although it is only the beginning the fight for or against Earth and the corruption has begun. The choice is yours for how it is shaped on the Original Steven Universe Roleplay Site.
Orginal Opening Plot Here Thread That Changed Everything
Differances Between the Roleplay and the Show
*Thanks to Rose Quartz' message the Gems on Earth are entirely aware that the Homeworld Gems intend to wipe out the human race.
*The "corruption"'s Origin is still unknown, some suspect it was a viral infection, other claim it was a Diamond experiment gone awry and other suspect the organics were behind it. Regardless no one seem to have a proper answer about what it was and why its only isolated to Earth
*Garnet, Pearl and Rose are assumed capture on Homeworld
*Garnet,Pearl and Rose broke the space warps to delay Homeworld
*Thanks to Roses Message gems now know what the Kindergarten was used for
