Blaire listened and nodded as Indy reassuringly explained what would happen to the corrupted gem he had just bubbled, as well as any other bubbled gem. Blaire pictured the burning room and the Rose Quartz's fountain in his mind with gems floating around in colored bubbles, remembering the comforted feeling of just being in the temple. It was a safe haven for all crystal gems, where they could protect one another. Blaire turned his attention toward Citrine and answered her question.
"We've heard that there is a corrupted gem that flies around like a vulture, preying on whatever may show up around the temple. Besides that gem lurking in the skies, it's an abandoned temple. The desert is a dangerous place, so we should be careful and stay alert."
Indicolite nodded slowly as Blaire gave Citrine a quick briefing of the their little "mini-mission", and with an air of finality, the blue gem clapped his hands together. "Well! If there aren't any more questions, let's get a move on!" Turning quickly on his heel, Indy began walking in the direction that he and Blaire had originally been going in, before gesturing for Citrine to follow. "Cmon Citrine, it's dangerous to be alone out here... so keep up!" Indicolite led the way rather cheerfully, a nice spring into his step as he pulled along Blaire and their new companion. It wasn't too long before the abandoned gem temple sprang up in the distance, and with some renewed vigor, Indicolite picked up the pace. The temple resembled a ziggurat, with it's squared off layers and modular design.
It was nice, travelling with other gems, especially since they enjoyed having her along, or at least seemed to anyway. She wasn't entirely certain about Blaire, but he was starting to grow on her. Soon enough they came across the temple.
Citrine scanned the skies warily, but saw no sign of the corrupted gem. The pyramid itself was massive, and clearly very old.
"Is this one of the first structures Homeworld built here? What did they use it for? And why's it abandoned?" She said, more to herself than to her companions as she stared up at the imposing structure.
Surely a place like this was too important for Homeworld to just leave it be. Then again, she was far from being a gem with any sort of political standing or authority, and the majority of Homeworld's presence on the planet had left within the last few thousand years.
((Sorry I'm so late posting this! I just started a new job and also the new waifu wars fire emblem game has also kept me quite distracted. ><; ))
Blaire followed behind Indy and before Citrine as she followed them along. Blaire spotted the towering desert temple standing above the horizon. The Sun was high in the sky, its heat beating down on the gems, although it didn't bother them much. Blaire always saw the stars as something beautiful. He enjoyed gazing at the stars, even at the Earth's own star.
Blaire slowed down, "Indy, Citrine, what's our plan? Remember, there's supposed to be at least one creature there and that doesn't mean there isn't more lurking around inside." He turned back to Citrine and then turned to Indy as he asked about their plan.
(It's fine, Airwalk and I are working on our new role play site so we're trying to our best to post as soon as possible.)
Indy continued walking forward, although he did slow down his pace to consider the question. The blue gem clasped his chin thoughtfully in his hand, grunting as he did so. "Well..." he began rather uneasily. There was a significant lack of information regarding this temple, but Indy knew the importance of having some sort of plan. "...There's definitely going to be more corrupted gems about, so I'm going to entrust you and Citrine to take care of any ground related threats, while I do my best with the flyer... unless Citrine's got any sort of ability that would fare better than me?" Indicolite was rather well acquainted with Blaire and the bloodstone's capabilities, and between the two of them, Indy was much better suited for dealing with something that flew fast. Citrine, however, was still mostly a mystery to the blue gem.
((Sorry mates..... Blegh, if I take too long, and if you want, you can always skip me >.<))

This Roleplay is a prequel to Steven Universe to an extent with some slight retconing and its own progression to the story that will turn out differently to how stuff plays out in the show. Thanks to the message by Rose Quartz several gems are rising up to protect Earth and have labelled themselves as the Crystal Gems. Others on earth are remaining aligned to Homeworld though despite the isolation of Earth from Homeworld
All gems on earth are still stranded, the communication hub is still offline and all the space warps are shattered, it has now been revealed that this is the work of Rose Quartz and her small group known as the Crystal gems. They have rebelled against Homeworld and have chosen to protect the Earth (Trapping themselves on Homeworld to keep the warps down).
Now both sides are fighting among themselves along with fighting against the 'Corruption' a virus is infecting many gems turning most of them into mindless monsters, but those with a stronger will seem to becoming something more sinister.
The Game has changed now. The question has finally been posed, are you against Homeworld or allied with them. Or do you have your own agenda that may or may not been assisted by the ‘Corruption’. Regardless the seeds have been placed down and although it is only the beginning the fight for or against Earth and the corruption has begun. The choice is yours for how it is shaped on the Original Steven Universe Roleplay Site.
Orginal Opening Plot Here Thread That Changed Everything
Differances Between the Roleplay and the Show

*The "corruption"'s Origin is still unknown, some suspect it was a viral infection, other claim it was a Diamond experiment gone awry and other suspect the organics were behind it. Regardless no one seem to have a proper answer about what it was and why its only isolated to Earth
*Garnet, Pearl and Rose are assumed capture on Homeworld
*Garnet,Pearl and Rose broke the space warps to delay Homeworld
*Thanks to Roses Message gems now know what the Kindergarten was used for
