Trinitite was stranded, no warp pads, no ship, no other gems, just Earth as far as he could see. He was normally an optimistic gem, but after spending so long stuck on Earth alone, he was feeling pretty hopeless. Earth was an interesting place and all, but it was far too lonely for his taste. The only excitement he ever got was the unpredictable weather, but it was the wrong kind, the run and hide type of excitement. More than anything, Trinitite wanted to be back on homeworld, to be with gems again. Little did he know, his wish would soon be granted.
While walking on the edge of an ocean, late at night, Trinitite heard a loud stomping noise followed by an unusual screech. He realised something was there, and summoned a bomb, ready to strike whenever the creature showed itself. He became restless and shouted "Show yourself!" But then it went quiet. Trinitite decided that it would probably be best to make a break for it, he prepared himself to sprint all out, whispering to himself under his breath "3, 2, 1 g..." Right when Trinitite started to say go, something stabbed into him from behind. A sword, a tooth, a claw, Trinitite wasn't sure, and before he could even try looking, he poofed.
Trinitite's gem fell into the water, where it was swept into the depths of the ocean. Eventually washing up on the shore of Beach City, where it sat completely vulnerable in the dry sand.

The heavy scout was have a nice lite skip... yes a LITERAL skip along the beach, barefoot in the sand, she was far enough from town that she was pretty sure she had a measure of privacy on her side. Not that she cared much about stares and gawks from humans, or even other gems for that matter, but watching someone, even a femme that's six feet tall and sports rugged female "firefighter-ish" body frame..perhaps not as intimidating as a Jasper or large Quartz. A fierce mane of choppy hair, iridescent and dark, bobs along on her head, catching the light and whips in the breeze.
As she bounds along, every so often her eye would catch sight of some larger rock, or piece of drift wood or what not in her path, and with an extra spring in her lope she would approach and punt her target far off into the waves. This had occurred five or six times so far on her little jaunt, and it was about to be the seventh...
Her gaze caught sight of a spot of green poking out of the wet sand near the shore and her pace quickens, winding up another kick, which she stops mid stride when she notices the fine cut and regular shape of the object she was about to punt into orbit. Her foot stops short and settles in the wet sand as she squats down, the spray from a rolling wave, getting the bottom half of her rugged khaki Capri wet. "Well hello, what have we here? Or perhaps I should be asking who..."
Her hand digs into the sand and pulls the gem core free, another hop carries her to the surf where she washes the beach sand off the gem's surface. "Well, you don't look or feel broken, whoever you are. Wonder how long you've been rolling about on the sand and waves." She was aware this Gem could be anyone, a home world loyalist, a crystal gem, or even a neutral gem, there certainly seemed to be a few of them around these days. Carbide gives the gem core a gentle little toss upward then catches it deftly but gently, the sets off along the beach again. ."Well I guess I'll just have to wait til you wake up to find out a thing or two about you.." She speaks to the silent stone on her palm and glances out over the waves from where it likely was washed in.
Trinitite was ready to reform, but decided to wait a little longer. He enjoyed basking in the tranquillity of his own gem, quiet, peaceful, and somehow comforting. It made him feel so comfortable for some reason, despite actually putting him in greater danger. It wasn't until he felt a hand that he decided it was time to reform, a hand was new to him, something that he hadn't felt in a very long time. It made him feel excited and nervous at the same time, either way he had to see what it was. Light burst out of his gem and he reformed in a couple seconds, finding himself staring blankly, unsure how to react as he had finally found another gem.

Carbide had only traveled on down the beach less than 100 yard when she felt the gem in her palm pulse to life. She barely has time to stop once again and shield her eyes by darkening her visor before the previously silent stone began to chime and hum the leap from her palm to hang in the air.
"Oooo-eee! That's some quality shiny right there" the scout remarks to herself as the hovering green gem forms an aura of light about it and eventually takes the form of a body. "Good, its not a corrupt gem.." the scout had neglected to take into account that she could have a fight on her hands if the gem had turned out to re form in a monstrous state.
As the light fades down and shows the form of a male shape gem standing there, she allows her visor to return to a transparent plum hue, the stands there and slowly tilts her head, blinking a few times as this new figure seems to just stand there and gaze at her. " Um, hello there, homeworld to mystery gem, ar-are you alright? I found you washed up on shore, do you know where ....or who you are? "
She knew that some gems can get rather disoriented after remanifesting their bodies after are poof, especially if something had caught them off guard. Carbide sweeps her long bangs out of her line of sight and takes a tentative step closer, mindful to not panic this new gem.
The the big, black (alien) feline ( closer to a Thanator than an Earth panther, but close enough) was hindig in the shadows of the palm trees Morion was on a... lets say, hunting trip; looking for prey in form of a Corrupted Gem, when noticed the puff-ing sound He shurged, it was a familiar sound, heard a thousand times, when the Assassin cought his target Even heard it on Earth a couple of times Sadly, when the Smoky Quartz arrived, the attacker was nowhere to be found... Morion just started to sniffing around for the victim, when heard the steps With a jump or two, and with swift, soft (tho clawed) paws quickly took cover behind the rocks, then crept in to - like the cats - the shadows of the nearby group of palm trees Now from there, he watched the two Gems, with narrowing silver eyes Morion is fuly aware, his hiding spot is not the best, so he could be easily discovered, but he've met strange Gems on the beach so far... worth the risk And they are occupied with each other (so far..) So the huge (monsterous...) alien feline stayed After all, this is the one thing he is best: watching And if one of the Gems notice him? It's not the end of the world. It is a 50%-50% chance, one of them is Loyal to the Homeworld, not a Rebel... ^^
Bumble Bee Jasper was floating in the endless ocean for what seemed like an eternity. She didn't like floating in the strange, salty liquid that was abundant on the planet, but she was too weak to do much about it. She had never relaxed before, and she didn't like it. She would fidget and sigh, thinking about thinking about the failed battle between her and that rebel. The rebel... Just thinking about that mud-living clod made her grit her teeth. Her pupils would disappear in the red of her irises, and her teeth would sharpen. She was aware that she was changing, but she didn't quite understand... Bee was eventually washed up on a beach. She managed to pull herself forward on her elbows, then she collapsed, spitting out a mouthful of sand. She was forcing herself into her feet when she heard voices. Bee squinted, and saw a pair of Gems on the beach. "You! You Gems!" She called. "Who are you aligned to?!" She stumbled towards the Gems before faltering and falling onto the ground. "Help me..."
Trinitite was broken from his thinking when the gem spoke to him "Um, hello there, homeworld to mystery gem, ar-are you alright? I found you washed up on shore, do you know where ....or who you are?" Trinitite paused for a moment, and then tried to hold back his excitement as he answered "Oh, sorry, I'm Trinitite, I was just walking along the water and something attacked me, next thing you know I end up wherever this is." Trinitite couldn't take it any more he had to find out if this gem knew a way back to homeworld. "Uh, are you stranded here too?" But before she answered, another gem, a type he was familiar with, appeared out from the water.
"You! You Gems!" She called "Who are you aligned to?!" Trinitite didn't quite understand that second part, who are you aligned to, all gems were obviously aligned to homeworld. He was broken from his train of thought when the gem started stumbling and collapsed forward, only getting out "Help me..." This was all a lot to take in for Trinitite, he had so much to ask, and so much that he didn't understand. He figured the best way to get on top of what was happening was to start asking questions. "What happened to you?" He asked, wondering what was really going on here. In just a few minutes, he had found two gems, which begged him to wonder just how many gems there were around here, wherever here is.

Carbide nods along as Trinitite began to speak, glad that this unknown gem did not appear to be damaged or hindered in any way. "Hmm, Trinitite... Well its good to meet you. I trust you enjoyed your little bath in the ocean. I'm Silicon Carbide, but Carbide for short, will do just fine. I Suppose you're lucky that whatever poofed you with a sucker-punch didn't care to stick around and break your gem core to pieces, then you really would be just another bit of gravel, a part of this beach. "
The heavy scout huffs and shakes her head in response to Trinitite's second part of his query.." Hmm well I suppose the shortest answer I can give you is Yes. Yes, as in we all are stranded, some by circumstance, some by choice, depending on who you speak to around here. Some time within this world's past solar year or so, the entire Galaxy warp network was knocked out on this world, and from what Ive seen of the damage first hand, it doesn't have a hope of even pretending to be operable without a full rebuild with materials from a Home World colony ship, and those seem to be either in short supply, or not simply not being allocated in this direction by the shiny-shoes back on home world, not that that bugs me any." She twists her bare foot in the sand and then punts a chunk of drift wood back into the ocean.. the broken log's trajectory drawing her attention to another gem that seemed to be dragging its waterlogged form out of the depths, shouting something about alignment, then collapsing.
*SIGH* "I knew that hoping for a simple day on the beach, free from faction drama was going to be too much to ask.." Carbide stomped along side Trinitite, over through the wet sand towards the downed gem. They looked rather weakened, however there was a certain hostile emanation that this gem was emitting that was enough to tickle her modest empath sense, and it was enough that, as she walked, the scout pulled a surge of energy from her gem core up between her shoulder blades and fed it into her body projection, boosting her already considerable physical resilience, and giving her a slight shimmer for a few moments.
Carbide, walks ahead a few paces and looked down at the exhausted gem, it appeared to be a femme, although rather robust, typical of heavy soldier types, like japsers, quartz and a few other geotypes that came to mind. She reached down and grabbed the barely conscious Jasper, by the 'belt' of her outfit's pants and rather ingloriously slings her up onto her shoulder with one arm, despite the Jasper's projected mass. "Ohhhh kay.... Lets get you up and out of that sea water, you look a sight my dear.." A slight sassy gravel rings through the scout's voice as she walks back along the beach, the feet of the Jasper who must be at least 14 inches taller than Carbide's 6 ft.. or 6ft 2 inches if her boots are summoned... are dragging along in the sand, leaving a pair of gouged trails in the sand.
"Hey Trin! This one belong with you too?!" Carbide calls out as she approaches the slender green gem once again, giving a bit of a little hop-shake of her shoulder, to settle the Jasper into a better position. "Awwww... Shes all tuckered out!"
Anoter Gem! The Assassin retreated further back to the rocks' and the trees's shadow With silver eyes, the Smoky Quartz watched the Gem-trio
"Kill them all..."
*The sweet Voice in his head whispered He tried to ignore it
"You want it, I know..." "They could be Loyal to the Home World! The Diamonds! Allies"
Morion answered in his thoughts
"Suuuuuure they could...."
The Voice giggled in his head The big black, alien feline ignored it Tho it was strange... it could be a coincidence. This is a small place and there is a Temple nearby, so no reason to be suspicious But... ...but it also could be a meeting Secret meeting masked as a random encounter of Gems But what kind of meeting? Rebels? Or Loyals? As Blue Diamond's Eyes Morion learnt to be patient, to watch, to listen So the Smoky Quartz remained silent in his dark, shadowy hindig spot and continnued to listen... to learn more about this Gems
"About your future prey, dear...." "Shut up..."
He groaned in his thoughts to the Voice in his head
As one of the Gems assisted Bumble Bee, the warrior Gem struggled to answer the green Gem's question. "My ship... Crashed... Stranded..." Bee ground her teeth as she spat the next word. "Rebel. Beaten by... That rebel..." Hatred flashed in her fiery red eyes. She was a whirlpool of negative energy. First, that rebel beat her... And the Gem helping her spoke in a way that irritated Bee; made her feel disrespected. " I'm supposed to be a warrior, prized by Yellow Diamond!" She growled. "But I was beaten by That traitorous, mud-loving CLOD!" Her body spasmed, and her bloodred irises threatened to swallow up her pupils once again. She shivered and forced the strange, sick feeling away. "By the Diamonds, I hate this planet!"
Trinitite was trying to piece things together from what Carbide had said, but he was still feeling pretty naive.
Beaten by a rebel gem, thought Trinitite, this has got to be some kind of joke, gems always follow the rules, that's what makes them so successful.
Trinitite was trying his best to treat this Jasper differently than the ones he had worked with in the past, she was stranded just like him, but it was slowly becoming very apparent that she wasn't very much different than those past Jaspers. He sighed and decided he should say something else to calm her down, but then she suddenly yelled "By the Diamonds, I hate this planet!" Trinitite took a step back towards Carbide, he had never seen a gem this hostile, and she had made it very clear to him that she was in a not so good mood. Trinitite just looked back at Carbide with a pleading face, hoping that she knew how to handle the situation better than he did.

Carbide flinches a bit at the outburst from the gem riding up on her shoulder like a sack of earth tuber starch pods, maybe it was time she tried to diffuse the situation, although it could be said that her charisma far outstripped her social graces..but the overly agitated behavior seemed to be spooking the newly reformed gem, and the last thing she needed to be doing was trying to quell a panic attack and a temper tantrum at the same time.
She strides over to rocky rise on the beach and sets the Jasper down as gently as she could, given her large size, although she wasnt too worried. The levels of aggression being given off by this gem were making her mild empath sense tick like a Geiger counter, but in her exhausted state she wasnt too too worried about this gem getting physical. "Well Miss Jasper, for what its worth, I'm pretty sure the planet itself doesn't hate you back, so you may as well quit wasting your energy."
She tilts the Jasper's head back and catches a glimpse of her iris flickering back and forth from red, until settling on what she felt must be her natural colour, now that couldn't be a good sign. "You say you're a warrior hmm? Well as much as it pains me to say it, your line of work carries with it certain realities, and one of which, is that no matter how much dogma and bluster your commanders or trainers back on home world filled you with...the possibility of defeat is a reality for every warrior in every fight, and if you really believe you're exempt from that rule because you've got a Yellow Diamond decal stuck to your shirt, well then ya just might find yourself sore from head to toe, floating half conscious in an ocean on some back water fringe world.. or worse. If itll make ya feel better, ya can try thumpin your fist on my face, but I can guarantee ya wont enjoy the result.. SO.." The scout flashes her a no-nonsense glare, but softens her expression afterwards and holds out a hand.. "Carbide, you can call me that, both of you." Her gaze swivels over to Trinitite standing a short distance behind her.
"So, Ive got a few scraps of info out of you Miss Jasper, you're a warrior, you got thumped, you're ticked, but how about you Trin? What do you remember, and how did you get to earth, and why? And for that matter how long ago? You seem to look rather confused so I'll hazard a guess that there have been some recent events that have transpired, of which you are rather unaware.."
Carbide straightens up and crosses her arms, giving the Jasper a bit more breathing room... not that gems needed it in a literal sense.
"Shatter them! Consume them! Or at least, store them and used them as power source, if you find a piece of Gem-tech...!"
Usually Morion tried to ignore the whispering voice in his head But this time, the hiding predator was silent He can't really say "shut up!" to the voice, because this was the rare times when a little part of him agreed with the Voice (wich was another part of him, his insanity starting to take shape, but he's got it under controll... most of the time) Then again, these Gems were innocent The green one was a... its damn hard to tell, what Gem he was. Trinitite of course. He said it. But this could be a lie... Trinitite could easily be a Peridot! Great Diamonds, if he only could catch one Peridot, the world would be a different place! A technican Gem, with all its knowledge and abilites could be the key to solve this horrid situation on Earth. Caught between the Rebels and Loyals, it would be understandable from a Peridot to lie who/what (s)he is... The other one... the Jasper...
"Blind slaves of an insane rock..." "Shut up!"
He groaned to the Voice in his head Morion dispised Yellow Diamond... but the Gems that serving under her... Actually the Assassin never seen a rational member of Yellow Diamond's court. But prejudice is not the best thing at the moment And there is Silicon Carbide... the predator-Gem was curious. He never heard about or seen a Silicon Carbide before! She seemed a rational Quartz-type and demonstrated pretty decent leadership skills. This wasn't a surprise to Morion, Quartzes are the "knights" of the Gems, brute force yes, but a lowly Ruby or other soldier Gems always could look up to a Quartz soldier and feel confidance. The big black alien feline decided to sneak a little closer, well aware, sooner or later one of the Gems will notice the monsterous shape, or the silver ayes in the shadows, that watches them

It's not often that Apache visits the Beach. Because when she does, something strange always ends up happening. Today was one of them.
She was rather happy as she skipped down a slope and felt the texture of sand under her sandals. Sand was her defence if she needed one. Plus, weird rocks always end up washing ashore. But then she felt the strong sense of corruption. And she saw the commotion. A group of... what? Three gems? were seemingly in conflict. One she clearly recognised as a Quartz. Apache paled, but slowly inched forwards to listen to the commotion. Now that she sensed corruption, she couldn't just leave them alone. Plus, she was usually too short to be noticed.
"...how about you, Trin? What do you remember, and how did you get to earth, and why? And for that matter how long ago? You seem to look rather confused so I'll hazard a guess that there have been some recent events that have transpired, of which you are rather unaware.."
The sense of negativity, for most part, was not from that gem. But there was definitely tension in the air. She walked a few more paces closer...
After her outburst, Bee couldn't help but feel a swell of smug pride as the green Gem nervously inched closer to the Carbide. She was still powerful; still intimidating. However, as she listened to Carbide's little speech, her jaw clenched. "Any weak, inferior Gem can wear an emblem," she hissed. "But few... VERY FEW! RISE TO SUCH A RANK AS MINE!" That sick feeling returned, and Bee's teeth sharpened. Her gem glowed dully, but she managed to grit her teeth and force the dull throbbing in her head away. "I..." Her head drooped, and she entered a strange, lethargic trance, barely lifting her head as Carbide began to speak to the Trinitite.
This Roleplay is a prequel to Steven Universe to an extent with some slight retconing and its own progression to the story that will turn out differently to how stuff plays out in the show. Thanks to the message by Rose Quartz several gems are rising up to protect Earth and have labelled themselves as the Crystal Gems. Others on earth are remaining aligned to Homeworld though despite the isolation of Earth from Homeworld
All gems on earth are still stranded, the communication hub is still offline and all the space warps are shattered, it has now been revealed that this is the work of Rose Quartz and her small group known as the Crystal gems. They have rebelled against Homeworld and have chosen to protect the Earth (Trapping themselves on Homeworld to keep the warps down).
Now both sides are fighting among themselves along with fighting against the 'Corruption' a virus is infecting many gems turning most of them into mindless monsters, but those with a stronger will seem to becoming something more sinister.
The Game has changed now. The question has finally been posed, are you against Homeworld or allied with them. Or do you have your own agenda that may or may not been assisted by the ‘Corruption’. Regardless the seeds have been placed down and although it is only the beginning the fight for or against Earth and the corruption has begun. The choice is yours for how it is shaped on the Original Steven Universe Roleplay Site.
Orginal Opening Plot Here Thread That Changed Everything
Differances Between the Roleplay and the Show
*Thanks to Rose Quartz' message the Gems on Earth are entirely aware that the Homeworld Gems intend to wipe out the human race.
*The "corruption"'s Origin is still unknown, some suspect it was a viral infection, other claim it was a Diamond experiment gone awry and other suspect the organics were behind it. Regardless no one seem to have a proper answer about what it was and why its only isolated to Earth
*Garnet, Pearl and Rose are assumed capture on Homeworld
*Garnet,Pearl and Rose broke the space warps to delay Homeworld
*Thanks to Roses Message gems now know what the Kindergarten was used for
