What do you remember, and how did you get to earth, and why? And for that matter how long ago? You seem to look rather confused so I'll hazard a guess that there have been some recent events that have transpired, of which you are rather unaware.."
Trinitite, now feeling calm about the situation, was able to properly think over the questions and answer. "well... believe it or not I'm a warrior gem, I was here serving as a backup for three Jaspers, when the warps went out and I got stuck here." Trinitite left out parts of the story, such as the fact that he still hadn't actually seen action during his entire career as a 'warrior' "After that happened I started looking for... well... anything, in hopes of getting back to homeworld, then... I'm not actually sure what poofed me, but it poofed me and after that I ended up here..." Trinitite trailed off of what he was saying after he thought he saw something, but shook his head and figured he was still just tired. Trinitite figured now was a good time to throw a question back, "So what exactly are all you gems doing here?"

Carbide eyes the large jasper warily as she seems to drop off into some sort of unresponsive state. She must need the rest anyhow, because battle damage aside, she didn't look too good.
"Oh wow, a warrior gem you say? Sorry, I didn't have you pegged for the role at first; but if you were supporting three jasper like our friend here then I'm sire you were pretty well protected so you could fill some spefic...role...inn. .battl- hang on a sec.." It was the that the scout took the yime to do a quick sweep of her surroundings, the blustersome Jasper had been so loud and distracting that she hadn't noticed a smaller figure peering at them from a nearby rise in the sand, but more so her gaze was drawn to what seemed to be an unnaturally large feline shape, crawling up closer along the grassy bluffs. Well now, if things were about to get all home world vindictive on Carbide, she would now have potentially a 4 vs 1 scenario on her hands with gems of unknown capabilities, she just might be in for a tough time ..
The heavy scout focus some additional energy from her gem core into her body projection, to increase its durability and even goes so far as to magically extend her transparent visor into full face protection, with a marching plum tinted transparent bust plate and finger /knuckle guards appearing on her gloves. She doesn't go so far as to summon her weapon, not wanting any unnecessary escalation.
"This is just what I need...Okay! Attention beach city .. beach! If there are any other gems stalking about, I would be mightily appreciative if everyone could step out and proclaim their purpose, that includes you 'Kittywhiskers'...yeah I see you over there.."
*The Smoky Quartz hissed in his shadowy hiding place with narrowing silver eyes Of course, Moiron expected something like this After all, this Quartz is a Soldier! A Knight!
"A real challenge! Worthy Prey..."
He murmured to the Voice in his head
"Speaking like a true Monster.... Finaly! Im soooo proud of you dear!"
The Voice giggled in the chaotic storm-like mind of the Assassin-Gem
He groaned Then focused to the group Well, the time of hiding is over The monstrous pitch black alien feline ( closer to a Thanator than an Earth panther, but close enough) slowly, came out from his hiding Claws and fang, his swift and soft paws left a trail in the sand, silver eyes watching the Gems, especially the Quartz
"You are a brave one, I give you that... but I've expected nothing less from a Knight of our Homeworld!"
Morion voice was a mix of growls and hisses, but understandable - The Smoky Quartz refused to use the Earthlings primitve language; he used their own, the language of the Gems As he aproached, he changed shape; with a flash of light shapeshifted to a humanoid form; cloaked, hooded humanoid, with long grey hair and silver eyes, in a mask; dressed in black, with his gem, a dark smoky quartz, a Morion in the middle of his chest Without any diamond insignia The time of Hiding is over Its time to play with open hands To choose sides His voice was cold like the night
He shook his head a little, then took a little bow
"I am Morion - Facet-7F2R Cut-8YQ, Her Majesty, Blue Diamond's loyal Agent..."
The world Assassin or Enforcer lingered - unspoken - in the air like the little smoke, which creeping around Morion's legs
"...curently on a mission from White Diamond; indetify yourself Gems!"

Apache flinched as the large grey gem's eyes flickered towards her. Was she spotted? There may not be any reason to stay or hide. But that wasn't just it. At the gem's word, a dark feline slunk out. Apache's hand twitched, ready to use the sand left in the footprints behind her before realising that the newcomer was still a gem. An assassin from Homeworld -which was enough warning just to leave already- but still, it was just shapeshifting. No harm done for now. But what then was the feeling of corruption? She took a moment to think.
Something was definitely wrong with that violent Jasper, and there was something sinister about the new Quartz- Morion, he calls himself. Other than the fact that he would have shattered gems before, of course. What the grey gem said definitely applied to her as well. A thousand things could go wrong. She could be recognised as an Obsidian. She could be cracked, shattered even. But she might be hurt if she didn't respond. Besides, the urge to investigate and maybe even cure was too great. She stepped out of her hiding spot, hands raised to perhaps show harmlessness. "Pl- please don't be too hostile. I know some of you are that- I mean hostile- but I don't do much. I mean, I..." She trailed off, too scared and flustered to continue talking.
Bumble Bee Jasper twitched slightly as the feline-like Gem appeared. Her eyes lifted slowly to look at the beast before moving back down. Her thoughts were faint and hazy. Every now and then she would wonder what was happening to her, but the thought passed as quickly as it came. It wasn't until the small, dark Gem appeared that Bumble Bee Jasper actually moved; lifting her head to squint at her. Seeing that she was nothing of interest, Bee turned her gaze to the Morion. Corrupted, perhaps? Wait... Could it be that... Bee felt a shiver go up her spine, and she realized that it was fear. Was it possible... That she, the great and powerful Bumble Bee Jasper... Was corrupting?
Trinitite was taken completely by surprise, not only did this feline gem appear, but another smaller gem had also come seemingly out of nowhere. Trinitite was still sided with Homeworld, and up until a short time ago, he thought all other gems were too. But obviously that couldn't be the case, as naive as Trinitite was, he could still piece some things together. Gems were not all on the same side, and he could tell from the shady character's tone, that the gems there on the beach weren't all on the same side either. All he knew for the time being, was that he and the new guy were both still on homeworld's side.
"I'm Trinitite, I was here under yellow diamond, but the warps got destroyed and now I'm stranded." Trinitite had found somewhat of a comfort zone, and was no longer as shaken as he'd been a few moments ago.
Still, that first gem he'd met had been pretty nice to him, if Carbide turned out to be on the opposite side, and a conflict broke out here, that would leave him with a fairly difficult decision

Carbide groans, the last thing she needed was more theatrics. All she wanted was a nice little run on the beach, but she felt like she was finding herself stuck somewhere in the middle of some sort of inter-faction stand off. She turns and regards the newly shape shifted gem, calling himself an agent of Blue Diamond but apparently.. on loan to White Diamond or some such thing. Oh well, intergovernmental operations were nothing new, heck, she had been designed by blue diamond techs at the behest of the yellow diamond military wing, but managed by a handler from the inquisitor wing of the white diamond court. Things sure could be needlessly complicated..
"A knight hmmm? I can't say I have ever been called such a thing, your accolades are received and much appreciated. As I spoke to the Jasper and Trinitite here, I am Silicon Carbide, however Carbide will do. I have no number or cut, I am one of one, and specific knowledge of my existence or commissioning is probably something either above your pay grade, or swept under the rug entirely, it doesn't really matter which. "
Carbide's scouts eyes tune in through her plum visor, taking in the appearance and mannerism of this grim looking gem... coming off as boisterous like a Quartz but..slippery and secretive like a Serpentine .. ah so thats it, she had a pretty good idea of what sort of gem type was standing before her.
"Well now though.. not that your special effects didnt give it away just now.. but a Smokey Quartz, curious little eyes and ears of other gems who cannot be bothered to leave their chairs. I cannot help but feel that your doubtless considerable skill is rather wasted on a fringe world like this.. so, about that mission of yours?"
So the Knight isn't a knight... just an experiment Cute But she is a fighter, and Quartz non the less... Its better to be cautious, than meet a nasty surprise
The Smoky Quartz noded a little The one and only Memmories russhed Morion, he groaned a little, massageing the bridge off his nose
"No Cut, not Facet.... the one and only Carbide..."
He murrmured with a barely audible voice, his eyes still wattching, but his mind wandered a little away
"Just like him... my beloved Demetry..."
Morion shook his head with a sigh
"I should never have gutted him..."
The past is a past But it is still hurt Havent seen him a while...
"...the Rebels must have caught him... and his mistress. Not that he was completly Loyal... but not a Rebel either. And now? Gone. Possibly forever..."
The Smoky Quartz relized, his inner monologue was this time not completly.... inner^^ After a little cough Morion focused on the Gems, and nodded
"Yes... Smoky Quartz, from the Morion variant. My mission? Was to prevent the things that happened... I have failed. Now, my mission, all of the Loyal Gem's mission is to set things right! You all know Yellow Diamond..."
Morion can't help it, his voice was heavy with disdain, when he named Yellow Diamond
"...the Diamon's retribution will come. And Yellow Diamond is as complicated as a brick, when it comes to such things. Legions of Rubies, a couple of Fusion abominations... Gem-tech weapons... not that it needed, a simple ship could whipe out Earth... but her fiery wrath will descend upon this cursed world, and when it come, we are doomend. Diamonds are not really tolerate failure. Unless we can solve this little and anoying problem the Rebellion represents, and present the shards or the bubled rebelious Gems to the Matriarchs of our Race....
He nodded a little
"Secure Earth, re-establish contact with the Gem Empire... and as a bonus, hunt down, and bubble the rebelling Gems. Shattering is not necessary. Let the Diamonds decide their fate..."
then nodded a little to the little grey Gem, Apache
"Dont worry... we are all friends here... am I right?"

Apache relaxed a little upon seeing that the strongest reactions the other gems had towards her was mere interest. But interest sometimes will end in someone being hurt, she consciously reminded herself, before slowly turning making eye contact with each of them in turn. Trinitite, Carbide, Jasper, Morion. Everyone should be unique enough not to be mistaken from one another. Some were on neutral territory like her, others definitely more sided with Homeworld but luckily aren't too aggressive. For one, she could definitely relate to Carbide, though there was a little dig of envy that the large gem actually ended up as battle-competent. Trinitite was now one more gem stuck on Earth, unfortunately. She would be reluctant to break the news if it came down to her. "...we are all friends here... am I right?" Apache lowered her gaze again, slightly surprised to be even acknowledged. "I'd call it more of a truce," she nodded. Despite her attempt at labeling, there was still tension hanging over the small huddle of gems. It was easier to pinpoint different negative energies now. "This may sound strange, but I think you need a little help," she blurted quietly, nodding towards the Jasper. "You too," she added, turning around to acknowledge Morion. Common sense caught up a second too late. What was she thinking?
Trinitite was unsettled by the smokey quartz, the very way that he talked seemed unusual. At least he didn't appear too overly hostile, it seemed (to Trinitite) that everyone here was going to get along fine.
Then the small gem spoke, and it became slightly apparent that maybe she wasn't actually on their side at all. However, she also made it apparent that there was another issue, something was wrong with the Jasper and the smokey quartz. He almost noticed it when he first saw them, but he had no idea what it was, and just brushed it off.
Trinitite just stood there, waiting to see how the other gems would respond to what she said. The smokey quartz seemed kind of unstable, so he mostly worried that "Temporary truce" wouldn't cut it for him. But it was still possible that he would allow it so that this gem could "help" him. Either way, all he could do right now was wait.

Carbide crosses her arms and eyes the Morion before her, not feeling too terribly threatened, but the small femme gem had twigged on something there when she said that perhaps a couple of the Gems present could use some help concerning their. ..wellbeing.
"Friends. .yes..no need to escalate anything with us before you, but it seems like there's a bit of an argument going on inside your own mind there, oh stealthy one." She didn't need to mention the jasper as well as it seemed she was still drifting in and out of some sort of mental fog. Her gaze fits back and forth between the small Apache and the homeworld assassin and then in a couple small but casual looking steps, subtly places herself somewhat in between the small gem and Trin as well, she didn't know if it was entirely necessary, but the Smokey Quartz seemed to be a little .. twitchy..
"So then, how will you go about ..fixing.. the situation here on this planet, or will the course of action be a bit grim for the tastes of some gems present here?"
But the Smoky Quartz didn't nodded It was more of a cold echo, than a confirmatory answer Then he growled a little
"My mind is fine, thank you..."
Morion watched the re-positioning of the Gems Interesting, but... understandable
"The best solution would be to fix this awful situation on this cursed rock, naturally, to hunt down and bubble all the Rebels. Of course, before that, giving them a chance to reannounce their alligance... Quell the Rebellion... "
The Assassin nodded
"Thanks to Rose Quartz and her ilk, we are trapped here and forced to fight with eachother. There will be no peace between the Rebels and the Loyalists. There couldn't be! Even the tought of sympathizing the Rebel's ideals is enough for a death sentence! The Diamonds aren't known for their mercy or tolerance.... And there is no "middle ground", there is no such thing as independent Gem. If you are not with one side, from that side's point of view, you are an enemy... it is that simple. And since sooner or later the Diamonds WILL arrive, Earth is doomed. Like the Rebellion... So I can't really understand why would anyone choose certain destruction... instead of our own race? "
Bumble Bee Jasper almost laughed aloud when the small, dark Gem offered assistance. How could such a puny weakling help Bee, the mighty warrior prized by Yellow Diamond? But in the back of her mind, Bee was interested. How could Apache actually help her? Bee pondered this for some time, ignoring the others' conversations completely, before rising to her feet, swaying slightly. "You said you can help me, runt?" She said. "Why do you think that I, the mighty Bumble Bee Jasper, would need your help?" Bee' voice dipped slightly as she asked, "How can you help me?" She had meant to sound tough and intimidating, but something was breaking her hard outer shell, hinting at a strange, desperate call for help that was bubbling close to the surface.

Apache noted with slight self-contempt at how Carbide positioned herself to seemingly defend her, but made no effort to step around and refuse the 'help'. If things went badly, she'd rather get around without fighting. And with Morion's threat, it seemed apparent that the delicate balance will break soon. She cast her eyes down upon hearing his dejection for help, but still held on to the thought of healing. Her interest was still piqued; was it due to a traumatic past or something different? Luckily she only stayed with the Crystal gems for a little while before moving on. Then she heard the Jasper respond. Apache's eyes lit up, though her expression stayed neutral. The soldier had still called her something she disliked, after all. "I can take away some of the energy. If you're mentally strong enough, it'd do more than delay the process."
"Thanks to Rose Quartz and her ilk, we are trapped here and forced to fight with eachother. There will be no peace between the Rebels and the Loyalists. There couldn't be! There it was, an explanation for what Trinitite was trying to piece together. Somehow gems were split into two groups, due to a rebellion of some sort, and in addition to those two groups were any of the gems caught in the middle. The only thing missing was why. What would drive this rose quartz and all these other gems to rebel. Trinitite hated Yellow Diamond, and blamed her for getting him stranded on Earth, but that alone wouldn't be close to enough to get him to rebel. Trinitite glanced at each of the surrounding gems, realising that there were much more pressing issues than the past.
Morion looked incredibly unstable, and he didn't just look unstable, he acted it too. Carbide was the easiest to trust, she seemed to be fairly on top of whatever was taking place. The Jasper obviously needed help, and the only one who appeared capable of helping her was this small gem who was also behind Carbide.
Trinitite was worried about a fight breaking out, it wasn't that he wouldn't be ready, it was how he was unsure of who he'd side with.
Melody: as usual, just waiting for posts

This Roleplay is a prequel to Steven Universe to an extent with some slight retconing and its own progression to the story that will turn out differently to how stuff plays out in the show. Thanks to the message by Rose Quartz several gems are rising up to protect Earth and have labelled themselves as the Crystal Gems. Others on earth are remaining aligned to Homeworld though despite the isolation of Earth from Homeworld
All gems on earth are still stranded, the communication hub is still offline and all the space warps are shattered, it has now been revealed that this is the work of Rose Quartz and her small group known as the Crystal gems. They have rebelled against Homeworld and have chosen to protect the Earth (Trapping themselves on Homeworld to keep the warps down).
Now both sides are fighting among themselves along with fighting against the 'Corruption' a virus is infecting many gems turning most of them into mindless monsters, but those with a stronger will seem to becoming something more sinister.
The Game has changed now. The question has finally been posed, are you against Homeworld or allied with them. Or do you have your own agenda that may or may not been assisted by the ‘Corruption’. Regardless the seeds have been placed down and although it is only the beginning the fight for or against Earth and the corruption has begun. The choice is yours for how it is shaped on the Original Steven Universe Roleplay Site.
Orginal Opening Plot Here Thread That Changed Everything
Differances Between the Roleplay and the Show
*Thanks to Rose Quartz' message the Gems on Earth are entirely aware that the Homeworld Gems intend to wipe out the human race.
*The "corruption" is being treated like a virus due to lack of info about it on the show.
*Garnet, Pearl and Rose are assumed capture on Homeworld
*Garnet,Pearl and Rose broke the space warps to delay Homeworld
*Thanks to Roses Message gems now know what the Kindergarten was used for
