Inquisitor Opalite payed close attention to what this Pyrope said, even picking up on the eye rolling. It didn't take an Inquisitors standing to see that Pyrope wasn't a fan of Obsidian either, which honestly makes all this more then a bit easier. The fact she was so proper about being around him was also a large plus! It was this treatment he really didn't get much of, which it to be expected on this backwater planet. "-rather... obsessed with yourself sir. I believe she has the need to 'one up you', over some sort of past interaction I believe."
"PFFFT!" was all that came from Mr. O after Pyropes graceful recovery of her word acrobats. "Trust me darling, YOUR more valuable then her, I mean... Im ten steps higher then her, what makes her worth the paces? The mind acrobats she plays to fool herself into believing any of her shattered plans would really work must be stupid, dangerous, stupidly dangerous, and dangerously stupid!" He chuckled at his own remark softly before ending it with a soft sigh, "Before we leave I must know another thing, do you know of any other fools she has working with her? I just LOATH to have a chit-chat with them!" He stood now with his cane to his side, both hands behind his back.
Seemed he was ready to leave this lovely location.
Despite it being more of a jab at Obsidian than an actual compliment, she was just a pyrope after all, she couldn't help but feel a little proud THE Inquisitor had called her valuable. There was some hesitation when he brought up Obsidian's other allies. Or rather, ally. In truth Pyrope truly had no loyalty behind either of them, it was simply her design to follow orders, so it was not exactly a hard decision for her. Besides, Opalite outranked all of them. If he wanted to know something, he was privy to that kind of information.
She began, "Well, Obsidian's allies are rather... limited. She's not exactly a very friendly gem, she doesn't make a lot of companions. In fact I was only in her service because it was what I was made for, and she was the highest ranking gem around. But I suppose with you here..." She paused, blinking a few times as she realized her new situation, "I suppose I am yours to command now. So, whatever it's worth, consider a pyrope such as myself at your bidding." She saluted again, a formal habit built into her it seemed.
She cleared her throat, "Ahem, getting back to your question. There us one other agent I know Obsidian commands, a sugar adept with hit and run tactics and is rather maneuverable. In fact if I'm not mistaken she was assigned recently to a job in the Kindergarten. Something about capturing a gem for... experiments..."
There was a long pause as she began to connect the dots, slowly looking up to meet Opalite's eyes. Had Obsidian gone after a gem under his command? Perhaps but... judging by his reaction it seemed much more personal. But surely THE Grand Inquisitor didn't care for any gem, not on this planet especially. Right? The stories she had heard had always painted him as a unfeeling and unstoppable force of the Diamonds. And yet... "Did she target someone..." The questioned tapered off, she didn't dare ask him such a direct question. Unless he would let her know, she would have to simply assume. "I'm uh... ready to leave if you have no further questions Inquisitor. Perhaps it is best we move quickly before... something happens." Indeed she had no clue what might happen, but it was surely nothing good.

Not being too surprised by Pyropes reply, Obsidian didn't strike him as one who would make many friends. Being so crude and demanding can truly only get one so far, it was good to know that Pyrope was willing to serve Obsidian purely because it was her function and he could respect that. After that thought it seems that she was giving him command over her, and yet again saluting him which he normally loved! That Morion gem was quiet fantastic at it, the basic salute was nice but...
Now he had another target he plans to "visit" in the upcoming future. This.... Sugar seemed, "..͘.́..̢.̧Whot?̨" There was indeed a moment of silence between the two gems.... the Inquisitors interest and almost ire had been peaked once more. "Yes, I agree! Let us move then.... we will have to meet this Sugar.. since I found you first ill just have to shatter this little cube. You will be able to help with that as well! Oh-hohoho! Do I have some plans for you, heh... BOTH of you." He said taking note of the second gem on Pyrope... a fusion? How interesting....
It pleased her that Opalite had seemingly warmed up to her, even if she did have to betray two gems for it. But if selling out two immoral gems to get on the Grand Inquisitors good side then so be it. His reaction to Sugar was interesting, by each passing moment it was clearer and clearer this was something personal for him. Which was fine, it wasn't her place to question his motives, only to assist him as long as he has a need for her. Of course it was unnerving how quick he was to simply write Sugar off as dead, but again she had little love for the sadistic gun-toting gem. "Thank you inquisitor, I suppose. If that is what you truly wish. I-"
She was caught off guard by him insinuating she was fusion. Of course he was correct, and anyone who knew anything about pyropes would know they don't make them as her big as her, but it felt as if he had looked past her disguise. In a way he had, and it really should have been expected. After all, he was the Grand Inquisitor for a reason, if anyone would figure it out it'd be him, "O-of course my Inquisitor." And with that she was ready to warp.0

This Roleplay is a prequel to Steven Universe to an extent with some slight retconing and its own progression to the story that will turn out differently to how stuff plays out in the show. Thanks to the message by Rose Quartz several gems are rising up to protect Earth and have labelled themselves as the Crystal Gems. Others on earth are remaining aligned to Homeworld though despite the isolation of Earth from Homeworld
All gems on earth are still stranded, the communication hub is still offline and all the space warps are shattered, it has now been revealed that this is the work of Rose Quartz and her small group known as the Crystal gems. They have rebelled against Homeworld and have chosen to protect the Earth (Trapping themselves on Homeworld to keep the warps down).
Now both sides are fighting among themselves along with fighting against the 'Corruption' a virus is infecting many gems turning most of them into mindless monsters, but those with a stronger will seem to becoming something more sinister.
The Game has changed now. The question has finally been posed, are you against Homeworld or allied with them. Or do you have your own agenda that may or may not been assisted by the ‘Corruption’. Regardless the seeds have been placed down and although it is only the beginning the fight for or against Earth and the corruption has begun. The choice is yours for how it is shaped on the Original Steven Universe Roleplay Site.
