Spiders liked to dwell in the darkness. That was a common fact quite well known about both earth spiders and spider web jaspers. Their homes were typically underground and when they did venture out, it was to get or mate. And since Spider didn't have to do either of those things... her reasons to leave were much more limited.
So, when Spider found her home, a vast cave system with all kinds of entrances and exits, she did her best to hide it. She had barely explored half of it when she found enough proof of her artifacts existence to justify going to whole another part of the world. She webbed up some more common exits and entrances so other gems wouldn't stumble into her home but that didn't seem to stop some people... This cave went from forest, to Beach City, to middle of fields and forests. It was proving hard to keep people out... But no one had ever been able to find her room. Hidden in one of the little nooks this cave held...
Foot prints. They were all over her cave. Someone had been in here... She couldn't tell if they were new or old...
What if the prints weren't human and were from a gem who got word of her return? Spider growled and looked up at the dark cave wall. She huffed and started to climb up the wall. Twisting her head around as she scaled the wall like a spider and hid herself in the shadows at the topmost apart of the cave. Gems and humans alike rarely looked up.
Keeping herself pressed against the ceiling of the cave she carefully moved, not making a noise as she was trained, and lurked about her own home. If someone was going to shatter her today, she was at least going to put up a fight.
