Hey there, I'm Zriph :3 (STEAM PROFILE ). ->>>> Thread history / Timeline <<<<-
Name: Gaspeite Facet-EF5A Cut-1FE
Appearing gender: Female
Appearing age: 30-35
Gemstones: Peridot and Vesuvianite
(Rough representations)

Gemstone locations: Peridot on forehead, Vesuvianite as a nose.
Corrupted: No
(If corrupted) Monster form:
None.
Appearance:
Peridot

Added to the picture, it should be noted that Peridot (As an era 1) is as tall as an Era 2 wearing limb enhancers and the rest of her arms and her legs are more fitting/natural versions of Peridot's limb enhancers and her fingers are attached.
Vesuvianite

Still didn't draw my own but this is as close as it gets so there's no problem on that.
Gaspeite
Around the height of Opal but slightly taller. She would have 2 pairs of arms. The fusion has a gem on her forehead and one as her nose. She has very present white-orange'ey hair, as well as 4 arm enhancements with 5 "fingers' on each. Gaspeite also wears sort of lime-coloured face pain in sort of cut tapes around her top left arm, upper part of her left leg and face, having a yellow'ish skin tone, usually obstructed by black tones to make it look like some sort of clothing, but she keeps a spot of "skin" from her left leg hip to knee.
Personality:
Gaspeite: She is a combination of a commander figure but also very clever personality which mixes very good, as her personality mix creates more of a knowledgeable warrior, or leader to some extent. The fusion envisions the Gem Empire more or less like it is perfect. Her scientific side does shine through and she stands very seriously and formally, usually arms crossed when idle. And when she's not talking, you can be sure that she is using her screen most of the time. She has kind of a deep voice, like a mix between Garnet and Jasper from the show. She easily keeps her serious and hates to show feelings she does not like to experience.
Peridot: She is a very scientific gem, keeping a straight mindset and usually knows something before talking about it, as she does not like being corrected although she's fine with learning new things. And rather, loves learning new things. She reads a lot, whether it is reports or anything else, to deepen her knowledge and takes time to train battle strategies and such. It is very easy for her to simulate feelings to fool individuals when she needs to.
Vesuvianite: Vesuvianite is a very straightforward gem which would do anything to protect another gem. Being from a rare kind of soldiers and a specifically requested cut, she was made to be a very defensive mineral soldier made to be in the front line. She loves to have a good fight once in a while, and her emotions are rock solid. Her will is very hard to break although Vesuve can show to be caring depending on the individual, which still is a rare occurence regarding the setting Homeworld gems are in.
Likes/Dislikes:
+ Having power
+ Getting assigned time-worthy tasks
+ The Great Diamond Authority
[+ Poofing idiots
+ Meeting a fusion
+ Coffee
- Seeing a corrupted gem
[- Having to unfuse (When it's not a superior's order.)
- Gems that think they are more powerful when they aren't]
- Threats to loyal gems
Fears:
- Being poofed.
- Someone beating her in combat.
Weapon:
Gaspeite can make appear a gem halberd, or rather every kind of polearm weapons but mostly that's what is easier for her and what she uses the most, since it is good to either defend very well, but it also pack quite a punches.
Peridot:
Ferrokinesis: Gaspeite inherits metal-bending powers. She is able to manipulate it at her will, as to move it, bend it, but not to the extent of reorganising it's mollecular structure.
(Naturally Tactical: A non-fusion gimmick where Peridot is able to use her fingers as a couple of utilities. Those being that she is firstly able to charge and fire a plasma bolt from the very tip of her fingers, reaching for about a dozen meters before the shot does virtually no damage, it takes a post to recharge. She can also use them to lift anything up to the size of around five rubies.
On the other hand, she can fly using her feet like a flying mechanism which is closer to being a sublight engine (Kind of like an anti-gravity engine to simplify) that looks like thrusters, is useable in space although produces typical spaceship thruster sounds.
Vesuvianite:
Titanstück: Gaspeite has the passive ability of being very resistant, and she's actively able to make appear a top piece of armor made from reinforced hardlight covering her chest, shoulders and down to her hips, aswell as your typical helmet but unlike Jasper, Gaspeite has a standard helmet.
(Spin dash: A non-fusion gimmick that gives Vesuvianite the ability to roll into a typical Quartz spin-dash with her own adaptation rendering it less of a deadly attack but more of a hard-hitting dash meant to destabilise, hurt and tire an opponent to let her do the rest outside of the spin dash.)
Fusions:
None yet.
(Gaspeite is a fusion herself.)
History:
A story of experiments.
** You notice a lot of eraser marks just from overlooking the whole thing.
"Gaspeite wasn't actually a gem that emerged from any Kindergarten, instead she was merged into this world. Being a fusion of two different Homeworld gems that came together as part of an experiment to monitor the long term effects of synchronising two gems together for long periods of time. While intergem fusions has existed for millions of years, it was never truly monitored until this project."
Peridot was created on a Homeworld kindergarten, around ~7300 years ago, an Era 1 Peridot along many others. She was supposed to be assigned on earth for a colony, but stayed on Homeworld until she was ordered there, and serve under White Diamond. Peridot is was a great student, and was very good at her duty.
Vesuvianite now, a very promising Quartz soldier from the bunch, was created then around the same time somewhere ~5900 years ago, in the beta kindergarten meaning in the very first batches of soldiers for the Earth colony. As she was directly created from Earth she originally served Pink Diamond.
They were originally stationed on Earth for very different purposes, but eventually becoming Pink diamond's "lab rats". After the incident with the Ruby and the Sapphire fusion, which would look like "Ruby + Sapphire = Angry Blue Diamond", Pink Diamond took the two gems under her wing, claiming that perhaps inter-gem fusion could have some medical benefits, but for her to fully see this she would need to broaden her knowledge and start a new project. The Ruby and Sapphire were something, but those are gems from the same family.
Pink diamond came up with the idea to lead an experiment involving 2 gems from different families, who would remain amalgamated for aeons to some extent.
To be clear, the experiment (Lead about 6000 years ago, after the ruby and sapphire incident) was dedicated to tracking and analysing the effects of intergem fusion over a long period of time, it being the first fully documented & studied permafusion, but not the very first actual fusion/permafusion.
The two gems, as respectful and as they are to their diamond, would follow the orders, them being to firstly attempt to achieve fusion, which wouldn't be extremely hard, but for the most part staying a fusion, which is the heart of the experiment.
No shit, (Sorry for the rough expression) Diamonds knew how fusion work, rubies use fusion all the time for example. The two loyal gems would do short work to fuse together, having trained ever so slightly for the occasion.
After the light of both projections formed a unique silhouette, the gem mix would result in Gaspeite. She would be a clear mix of both gems, keeping some features from both sides, although most coming from Vesuvianite. A significant change would be the added up height, making Gaspeite a bit taller than an Quartz, now bearing a typical lenght, but original Quartz hairstyles, but also both of the gems present on the respective body parts. Vesuvianite's being on the forehead and Peridot's on the nose.
Pink Diamond wore a small look of satisfaction on her face when she first appeared before her, the greens dancing together on her skin with a very slight tint of orange, and her stature becoming far bigger than either gem by themselves. From here Vesuvianite's order was simple, be as a soldier would. She was assigned onto Earth as a form of general for vary groups of other soldiers. In Homeworld's eyes she was now just considered another one of Pink Diamond's phalanx and left to do her business as any other soldier would. The only difference being that she was monitored frequently, checking to see for any instability in her form or mind, caused by the prolonged duration of being fused.
6000 years later, Gaspeite was still going strong, however like every other Homeworld gems she was also trapped on Earth because of the cutoff from Homeworld. With the growing spark of the rebellion it seems like her loyalty and by extension her mind might be put to the test.
