A small, teardrop-shaped, dark blue gem rose from the rubble of the spire, glowing softly in the pale light. Suddenly, basic shapes of pure light shot out from the Lapis Lazuli, revealing its placement on the being's arm. Soon after, clothing and hair were formed, and the being gained color.
As her eyes opened, Lapis Lazuli-cut 26DE, facet 8LL to be specific- gazed around at the rubble of the spire around her. Deciding to venture into what was once a largely popular tower for the most elite, she pressed her hand against the murals painted on the walls. She reached the top at a steady pace, yet still found no one there. The four-armed fountain still remained, however, but was weathered by the elements due to exposure. She sat down on the rim and asked herself aloud, "How long was I out for?"
Soon enough, she rose to her feet and walked over to the wall. It displayed a large crack in it, and look as though if one were to tap it, it would come crashing down. She heard a plop! on the floor behind her, which gave her quite a surprise. As the Lazuli whipped around to face her enemy, she saw that it was merely a slug, one of the now populous residents of the spire. Her guard lowered and a relieved sigh escaped her dark blue lips. In her peripheral vision, walls of water crashed down around the structure, cascading downward like waterfalls. The thought of where everyone was still nagged her, and as she followed it, the blue gem ventured downstairs, careful not to slip, and stepped upon the warp's cool surface. She pictured the Sky Arena, her original destination. Quartzes sparring to prepare for off-world fights. Onlookers in the stands, partaking in mild chat. A beam of light whisked her there as soon as the thought entered her mind. She quickly stepped off the pad upon arrival and looked around rapidly. No traces of anyone were still there. She walked onto the mock-battlefield and began to review all that had happened before she had bee knocked out. Water twisted down from the clouds surrounding the arena as she formed a thin, mirror-like surface to project upon.
