"The start of the war was quite violent I heard. Kindergardens sabotaged, communication hub destroyed... warp pad disabled. And all who protected those places or who just took care of them were poofed... or shattered. Or at least so I heard."
He said. The fusion probably heard similar things. Or it could've been there.
"If we want to find some gems I would recommend to try Jersey... I don't go there very often... and people are... less prone to react to weirdness. There is the biggest chance to find someone I think... but it could take weeks to check this city... millions of people are living here..."
He recommended. After all he knew this city better then they did. He was patrolling the streets quite often, and he spotted a lot of gems. They just... moved differently. From air it was strangely obvious... but most of them were Morion's allies or friends, not someone who would wish to be evacuated...
The Smoky Quartz watched from his shadowy hiding spot Actually it was fun to observe his young apprentice, not to mention the new Gems He was curious The situation with the new "guests" was delicate; considerin the new ones were from the Yellow Court Truth to be told, the Assassin despised Yellow Diamond and her ways, not to mention her followers... It was a good opportunity for the young Fire Opal to knew them, learn from them... and learn how to handle them Naturally every Gem was different, the Smoky Quartz was well aware generalizaton is a common mistake, but so far every Gem from the Yellow Court was the same. Brutes. Warmongers. Warriors. Gems without finesse or the will (or ability) to be more than walking examples, whats wrong with the Gem Empire They had their uses tho' The Smoky Quartz retreate back to the shadows, silver eyes watched from the darkness.... and the Assassin waited.
Humans. From what 7XB had heard, and seen, everything on this planet has some strange, nonsensical name. "Jersey?" They echoed incredulously, the syllables naught but unknown gibberish upon their tongue," and where is this..Jersey exactly?" Attention fell again upon Pyrope, their guide, expecting them to know the way. She'd been here far longer. "Is it far from here?" The Quartz demanded in the seconds before their skin began to prickle instinctively.
Something was watching them. They knew that much, even if they couldn't see them. Call it what you want, 7XB trusted their instincts. "Seems one of your friends had taken an interest, Chip," they spat accusingly, ocularlly searching the towering constructs that surrounded them. So many places to hide. Perhaps it wasn't the very best idea to send the rubies off, but they stood by it. The last thing the Base wanted was for the rebels to gain access to them, and they wouldn't be the one responsible for giving it to them.
She stopped to think for a moment, "Hmm... I don't think I'm familiar with a 'Jersey'. I've kept away from most of human societies on Earth. Save for this city and a few other places I've kept to old gem sites. Though I'm sure we can find our way without much trouble." It crossed her mind to suggest Chip get this Morion to assist their travel, but she wasn't entirely confident XB trusted him entirely just yet. Just as she was going to suggest it anyways she whipped around as XB mentioned the fact they could be spied on. Of course she couldn't make anything out, not in the mess that was this city. Aside from staying on guard she did little else, breaking her train of thought.
The Smoky Quartz watched the Gems Well, it seemed everything is fine there and the young Fire Opal was good in handling such situations Chip's Mentor was glad to saw that and was satisfied with the kid's preformance There was no need for him to stay and watch... everything was in the young Fire Opal's hand After all, the kid was the Protector of Empire City The alien faline retreated further back to the shadows, then after some jumps dissapered from te site; he had work to do at the Derelict, the ancient colony ship he had claimed in the first days of the chaos. Not to mention there were several other things that required his attention; Empire City was a big domain... ...and the kid told the Guest where to go if they want to see him

"This "Jersey" is a... well it's that way... "
He said and took a leaflet from nearby stand with all the information the gems might require. And a even more they didn't really need. Especially about restaurants... though Chip doubted, that they were going to visit the most impressive sights of the city. And if they leave the city for Jersey he won't have to follow them anymore.
"I think you might find everything you might want to know about this area in this. And, there is always the possibility of asking humans... they aren't that dumb... and I warned you, that this city is guarded. Of course we are being watched, by more then one pair of eyes... but no need to worry about that."
Growing increasingly frustrated, 7XB set their jaw into a rather unsettling 'neutral' expression (or at least they attempted to), grinding their teeth together. Palm up, they reached for the pamphlet, waiting for the opal, Chip, to hand it over rather than taking one of their own.
Hopefully Pyrope could decipher whatever information key theirn, or could at least draw some clues as to the location of this place, Jersey. Maybe it would come to the point where they would need to conscript local assistance; hopefully, though, that wouldn't be necessary. "Yes, well, I'm sure that Pink Diamond will be pleased with your.. Assistance." The word sounded more like a curse in that context, really, nearly spat. "I'll be sure to inform the Manager when I return. She'll pass it on to your Diamond, I'm sure." Was that a threat, or a good thing?..
Again Pyrope found herself agreeing with Chip, not that she would admit it in front of XB, humans were by no means unintelligent. She grabbed a pamphlet herself, scanning it to see if anything seemed familiar. "I believe I could direct us with this, thank you Chip. I am ready to leave whenever you are XB," she held a diamond salute until they were ready to move, "I trust we won't have issues, though understand XB's mission comes from the Diamonds themselves. It takes some precedence so... do give us some leeway, alright?" It was more of a plea than a warning, she really didn't want any sort of conflict between anyone involved. The sooner XB could finish their mission the sooner they'd be out of Morion's hair, something that sounded dangerous considering the power he held around here.

Chip was a patient gem, really, he was. Certainly more, then he was before. But he was also a little bratty, so he should understand, that he was driving the quartz crazy. He didn't care. This was his city... (well Morion's, but that was a minor detail) and this quartz was the intruder here, so he will have to learn to play according to HIS rules while he was here.
"I'm sure, that My Diamond will make the right decision, when she learns about me."
He said, though there were worries present in his voice. Then he smiled surprisingly warmly at Pyrope.
"Well of course, the wish of the Diamonds is my command. Let's proceed and find us some lost and helpless gems. Lead on."
It seemed, finally, that 7XB had managed to strike some sort of chord with the troublesome little opal, for what it was worth. Other than their own suspecions, which the Quartz though were valid concerns considering the rather delicate situation on earth, they couldn't fathom the utter.. Insubordinate and bothersome nature of this 'Chip'. Either way, if what they said was true, 7XB would soon be rid of them, and moreover, they'd finally be able to get on with the mission. "Yes, immediately," came their reply to the fusion, lurching forward to continue their rather grim trek through the sea of humans. Until, of course, Pyrope gave some instructions to alter their course towards this mysterious Jersey, or some matter of human transportation that would render them there hastily. Diamonds willing, they would be there soon.
Something was telling them they'd encounter one of these rebellious gems before they knew it, for good or for I'll. Call it a gut feeling.

variscite64: Or we all form the Progressive Gemenoid Republic of the Free Peoples; PGRFP. The PGRFP offers "rights" and "privilege's" to its citizens that actually take away their rights and privileges in a positive sounding way. We'll even have corrupt officials!

variscite64: Perhaps... perhaps. Though at the end of the day, the one we can never defeat is Ultra-Migeulite. 666,999 posts, easily the most dangerous gem on the site. One push from him...... and the entire universe goes AWOL!

Morion: We are the Home World Gems. We wish to improve ourselves. Existence, as you know it, is over. You will be assimilated. We will add your biological and technological distinctiveness to our own. Your culture will adapt to service us. Resistance is futile.

This Roleplay is a prequel to Steven Universe to an extent with some slight retconing and its own progression to the story that will turn out differently to how stuff plays out in the show. Thanks to the message by Rose Quartz several gems are rising up to protect Earth and have labelled themselves as the Crystal Gems. Others on earth are remaining aligned to Homeworld though despite the isolation of Earth from Homeworld
All gems on earth are still stranded, the communication hub is still offline and all the space warps are shattered, it has now been revealed that this is the work of Rose Quartz and her small group known as the Crystal gems. They have rebelled against Homeworld and have chosen to protect the Earth (Trapping themselves on Homeworld to keep the warps down).
Now both sides are fighting among themselves along with fighting against the 'Corruption' a virus is infecting many gems turning most of them into mindless monsters, but those with a stronger will seem to becoming something more sinister.
The Game has changed now. The question has finally been posed, are you against Homeworld or allied with them. Or do you have your own agenda that may or may not been assisted by the ‘Corruption’. Regardless the seeds have been placed down and although it is only the beginning the fight for or against Earth and the corruption has begun. The choice is yours for how it is shaped on the Original Steven Universe Roleplay Site.
Orginal Opening Plot Here Thread That Changed Everything
Differances Between the Roleplay and the Show
*Thanks to Rose Quartz' message the Gems on Earth are entirely aware that the Homeworld Gems intend to wipe out the human race.
*The "corruption"'s Origin is still unknown, some suspect it was a viral infection, other claim it was a Diamond experiment gone awry and other suspect the organics were behind it. Regardless no one seem to have a proper answer about what it was and why its only isolated to Earth
*Garnet, Pearl and Rose are assumed capture on Homeworld
*Garnet,Pearl and Rose broke the space warps to delay Homeworld
*Thanks to Roses Message gems now know what the Kindergarten was used for
