(The following events are set some time between Padparadscha arriving on Earth with the first Moon Base mission and previous threads involving Crystal Gem activities.)
Time seemed to fly by on this planet. Just a few short months had felt like years already. The life cycle of everything on this planet was so amazingly short, and yet vibrant in its simplicity. After being sent to this planet, Padparadscha found plenty of work to be done. Indeed, the rebels had caused untold damage planet-wide, the amount of repairs necessary to get the all the pre-existing systems operation was staggering. It was like being set back to nothing. Worse than nothing. At least if there weren't any ruins they could simply start construction, but sadly the existing structures and Kindergardens were already in some of the most prime locations available. So repairs were deemed the only viable option, and so a gem like Para were apparently listed as being invaluable to the cause. She was directed all across the globe to create replacement parts for just about anything Homeworld could find that wasn't in perfect condition. And of course she worked with professional efficiency.
And yet, something began to bother her in the back of her mind. A niggling doubt that had never surfaced previously suddenly found purchase and refused to go away no matter how hard she focused on her work. It became apparent to her that she found her work... boring. Such an idea was ludicrous of course. She was being useful to the Diamonds and that was all that mattered! Yet the thought festered in the back of her thoughts as it ate away at her resolve. The effort in her work began to slowly dwindle, and her attention began to turn elsewhere.
"Can't be much farther..." She spoke entirely to herself, hearing her own voice gave her confidence to press on. She was in uncharted territory, in a place long forgotten by most and far away from help. She was a non-combatant, how could she risk her life like this! Still each step brought her closer to finding the truth.
