Flurry watched the two with a large smile on her face. She sat down on a bench nearby and took off her backpack. Examining it's contents she removed an apple core, a Gameboy, a flute, and a snowglobe. The item that she was in the mood to use at the moment was the Gameboy. As she turned on the Gameboy a chiptune song began to play. She giggled as she watched the animations on the screen, but lowered the volume remembering how para needed silence.
She seemed mostly absorbed by her gaming device, but occasionally glanced up to see her friends' progress. She didn't care for a wrench much, true it would definitely help her on missions, but it's main purpose was to help Light bond with the crystal gems, this was exactly what was happening at the moment. After a while she stopped playing her Gameboy altogether, content to watch them smelt.
Light was trying to be as carefull as he can. Just like Mocha Pearls he was suppose to do work in group/pair and be as fast as he can. Because of his nature he imagined himself doing something wrong or hurting someone. Luckly everything was okay, Para and Flurry were still alive and nothing was damged. After a while he calmed down and was impressed of Para's abilities. His eyes never saw such a creative and artistic gem like she. While he was working Flurry was using some kind of human playing device. Light was sure that he have something similar in his tent far away from here in forest. Tent was used as storage for everything that could be usefull in coming back to hw. Pearl realized that this plan is not possile with all that old stuff and junk. It could be used to make present for Flurry though.

Para was entirely set on her work now, not even registering the slight noise Flurry made with her odd entertainment device. She hammer the metal out into a relatively thin and long bar and followed suit by pulling the ends into curved prongs. A number of tools were required, all of which she had Light hand her during the procedure. By the time she was done the wrench looked rather odd, the handle in the middle was oddly small compared to the two heads on either side. She took a tong and dipped the metal into a barrel of water, steam rapidly rising up and dispersing in the air. When she pulled it back out the metal had cooled down to a temperature much more kind to her form.
Placing it back down on the anvil she looked up at Flurry, her eyes looking her form up and down. After a few moments of doing so she simply nodded and set to work, her hands whirling around the wrench. Hard-light began to form from her gem cores and settled onto the half-finished tool. Quickly the handle became fleshed out, reaching a size much more reasonable compared to the tool head. As well the heads were decorated a bit, and layered with light as to dress the whole thing up. The ordeal took almost as long as the actual smithing, but by the end of it she held up the finished product. The wrench was a good size, but notably the entire thing was dressed up to match the colors of Flurry's form. She walked up to Flurry and offered it, "I believe you will be beyond please with this. The metal core should serve as enough weight to make it an effective bludgeoning weapon, as well as offering a good balance. The hard-light will not 'poof' like most summoned weapons, and is far lighter than metal so the tool should be light enough for general use as well. A fine mixture between a tool and a weapon indeed." She turned to Light, "And as for you, I do apologize you could not have a more hands on approach but I feel for your first task this was suitable as a test. You performed excellently, I would be honored to have you in service to the Forge here."
Light looked at new weapon with stars in his eyes. It was first thing he created except hologram he programed long timr ago. In hw he was supppose to clean or help with things like taking one heavy weapon and placing it in another room. Than Para turned to him and said really good news "really?! It is just perfect! Ohhh... sorry for yeling", Pearl calmed down and tried to talk with more mature voice "Thank you Para, I promise I won' let you down. I can't wait to help in something else. I feel like I finnaly have a purpose here. One more time thank you for everything, you won't belive how happy I am now, it is like new life."

She chuckled, "I appreciate your enthusiasm, I do think it will be a pleasure having you here. Of course, you are not under any sort of requirement to stay here all the time. You will be free to do as you please, but of course while you are here I demand full obedience. I try to be kind, but I expect every order to be completed exactly as they are specified. But of course there are some perks to the job~" Para walked back towards the anvil, "As my assistant you will be considered a Crystal Gem, congratulations indeed, and as such fellow gems of our group will be inclined to defend you. Although that does mean Homeworld may not take kindly to you, but from the sounds of things I do not believe that is a new concern... As well anything you will have limited access to our resources here, although I do ask you ask me before taking on any major task. Our resources here are not infinite." She gave a genuine smile, "And of course, you are allowed to leave at any time you wish. Does this sound pleasing to you?"
Melody: how are you doing? Are you going to make a character in here?

This Roleplay is a prequel to Steven Universe to an extent with some slight retconing and its own progression to the story that will turn out differently to how stuff plays out in the show. Thanks to the message by Rose Quartz several gems are rising up to protect Earth and have labelled themselves as the Crystal Gems. Others on earth are remaining aligned to Homeworld though despite the isolation of Earth from Homeworld
All gems on earth are still stranded, the communication hub is still offline and all the space warps are shattered, it has now been revealed that this is the work of Rose Quartz and her small group known as the Crystal gems. They have rebelled against Homeworld and have chosen to protect the Earth (Trapping themselves on Homeworld to keep the warps down).
Now both sides are fighting among themselves along with fighting against the 'Corruption' a virus is infecting many gems turning most of them into mindless monsters, but those with a stronger will seem to becoming something more sinister.
The Game has changed now. The question has finally been posed, are you against Homeworld or allied with them. Or do you have your own agenda that may or may not been assisted by the ‘Corruption’. Regardless the seeds have been placed down and although it is only the beginning the fight for or against Earth and the corruption has begun. The choice is yours for how it is shaped on the Original Steven Universe Roleplay Site.

*Garnet, Pearl and Rose are assumed capture on Homeworld
*Garnet,Pearl and Rose broke the space warps to delay Homeworld
*Thanks to Roses Message gems now know what the Kindergarten was used for
