"Because a whole planet of Gems couldn't ever understand me... Not before she was here. - Come, I will show you something."
The Agate said mournfully, deciding to let the Prototype know more about the Agate's troubling past. She would return back to the giant hole left behind by an impact, many and many years ago. As before, she dug out the Gem shard and pressed it tightly in her hands. Assuming that Silicon Carbide would still be near her, Fire Agate would place the Gem in her hand.
"This is Purple Agate, created in the same Facet and Kindergarten... Right under me. - She was my dearest companion.. The only Gem I could really count on. - One day, a dissident Quartz Gem had the audacity to march into this very Kindergarten... With one blow, Purple Agate fell to her... She didn't know, she didn't hope that one of her own soldiers would turn onto her."
Fire Agate paused for a while, clearly being uncomfortable while explaining the story. Soon, she managed to continue.
"You see, me and Purple Agate vowed that we would be there for each other.. Always. - We upheld this for thousands of years back on Homeworld... But not a single day on Earth. I wasn't there when it happened, when she was shattered... only thing I saw was the report and this shard. - It's all I have left of her."
The strong Quartz Gem continued, almost talking in ironically human and compassionate manner. She then took the hold of her right shoulder with her left arm, kneeling before the hole.
