Suddenly a cold hand rested on Titanite's shoulder. It was like ice, as if someone had put their hand in the freezer. It's source peered around him it was revealed to be a green gem. His hair was long and his eyes were wide in a psychotic manner. He grinned at the gem.
"Bodyguard? Then can you even protect yourself?" The gem's voice was cold and raspy. He walked in front of the gem. "Hello Blue, you always get into interesting sitautions. You can smash that other defective one. I do ask that you refrain from shattering, I'm only allowed to shatter corruptions. I`ll go over the details later."
Sulfur smirked and looked back at Titanite. Black slime poured from Sulfur's eyes and mouth. A shapeshifting trick.
A sudden wave of anguish washed over Titanite as he realised that this wasn't going to end well for either him or Smithsonite. It would seem that running actually was the best option here, this quartz wasn't showing any signs of turning away and the sudden appearance of this other gem stifled him a little and he soon realised that a two versus one where he was massively outclassed by both gems was not to be a winnable fight. The last thing he thought he'd be doing is fleeing a fight, but he was a sensible gem who valued his life, so he decided on the smarter option. He takes a couple of steps back before grabbing Smithsonites arm, pulling him out of the way of Blue Quartz's attempted shield bash and looks intently at him.
"Hold on tight, looks like we're gonna be running from this one."
As soon as he finished his sentence, he attempts utilise his Aerokinesis to create a powerful gust of wind to propel both himself and Smithsonite away from these two gems. Not far enough to leave the area entirely, but far enough to put a decent 70 metre distance from them, out of harms way.
Smithsonite was completely confused as he heard Titanite speak. He did not really know what to say, but his bad luck did. Smithsonite took a step backwards, tripped and fell into the water. The tides sucked him in deeper as he struggled to get to the surface.
"You've got to be kidding me!"
He continued to try to swim back upwards but the water kept sucking him downwards. The harder he tried the more the water sucked him in.
“Why does this happen to me?!?”
He eventually just gave up and sank into the water with his arms crossed. He was waiting for his bad luck to act up again.
“I’m getting really tired of this…”
Eventually, Titanite's aerokinesis sent him up to the surface. He was sent flying into the air and was poofed when he hit the ground.
It would seem that Titanite's plan to get the two to safety had completely messed up, as Smithsonite had somehow managed to poof himself after apparently being thrown around in the water. He looked a bit mortified after seeing Smithsonite's form evaporate as he collided with the sand, however he wasn't stunned for particularly long as he agilely leapt over to Smithsonite's gem, picking it up as the other two seemingly much stronger gems were apparently distracted in a conversation of sorts.
"C'mon Smithsonite, please be a fast reformer..."
He briefly mumbles to himself, as he says this he utilises his Aerokinesis to propel himself a fair distance away, while keeping a hold of Smithsonite's gem, and attempting to conceal himself behind a rather large piece of oddly structurally sound driftwood. He'd made his escape a silent one, so he hoped that the two newly arrived gems hadn't noticed, let alone had an ESP like his own making them capable of sensing him. He gently placed Smithsonite's gemstone on the sand, waiting patiently, yet somehow impatiently for him to reform. He wanted Smithsonite to be conscious for when they escaped.
Even though he was poofed, the bad luck just followed him around. The "structurally sound" driftwood began to crack and collapse onto his gem. The wind began to blow harder, everything seemed to be moving faster. Not only that, but all of those things concentrated into one location would give anybody's location away.
Smithsonite put all of his strength into reforming, and barely managed to do so.
"Oh thank goodne-"
But before he could finish his sentence a piece if driftwood fell on him and poofed him again. Poor Smithsonite, first he was about to be executed, now this. No matter how hard he tried, he could not avoid the destiny he accidentally imposed onto himself when he first escaped.
As the driftwood began to collapse Titanite leapt out of the way, seemingly forgetting about Smithsonite. However just as he remembered, Smithsonite reformed. A sigh of relief escaped Titanite as he saw Smithsonite standing before him, this relief turned into unusual surprise as the driftwood collapsed and crushed his form once again.
"Wha-? How did you manage that?!"
He was beyond confused. How the heck did he manage to reform only to be poofed once again. Either way, escape was his priority and he knew to stick to his priorities. He kicked the driftwood a fair distance away from Smithsonite's gem and picked it up once more. Perhaps if he went somewhere safer it would be easier for Smithsonite to reform without being poofed. Instead of propelling himself a distance this time, he manipulated the winds in such a way to provide a form of flight, jetting himself to a nearby warp pad and hurriedly engaging it, not exactly picking out a location. As the warp pad hums to life he hopes that it will take them someplace safe.

This Roleplay is a prequel to Steven Universe to an extent with some slight retconing and its own progression to the story that will turn out differently to how stuff plays out in the show. Thanks to the message by Rose Quartz several gems are rising up to protect Earth and have labelled themselves as the Crystal Gems. Others on earth are remaining aligned to Homeworld though despite the isolation of Earth from Homeworld
All gems on earth are still stranded, the communication hub is still offline and all the space warps are shattered, it has now been revealed that this is the work of Rose Quartz and her small group known as the Crystal gems. They have rebelled against Homeworld and have chosen to protect the Earth (Trapping themselves on Homeworld to keep the warps down).
Now both sides are fighting among themselves along with fighting against the 'Corruption' a virus is infecting many gems turning most of them into mindless monsters, but those with a stronger will seem to becoming something more sinister.
The Game has changed now. The question has finally been posed, are you against Homeworld or allied with them. Or do you have your own agenda that may or may not been assisted by the ‘Corruption’. Regardless the seeds have been placed down and although it is only the beginning the fight for or against Earth and the corruption has begun. The choice is yours for how it is shaped on the Original Steven Universe Roleplay Site.
Orginal Opening Plot Here Thread That Changed Everything
Differances Between the Roleplay and the Show
*Thanks to Rose Quartz' message the Gems on Earth are entirely aware that the Homeworld Gems intend to wipe out the human race.
*The "corruption"'s Origin is still unknown, some suspect it was a viral infection, other claim it was a Diamond experiment gone awry and other suspect the organics were behind it. Regardless no one seem to have a proper answer about what it was and why its only isolated to Earth
*Garnet, Pearl and Rose are assumed capture on Homeworld
*Garnet,Pearl and Rose broke the space warps to delay Homeworld
*Thanks to Roses Message gems now know what the Kindergarten was used for
