Bloodstone had decided to go exploring...again. This time it ended up leaving them into a different spot as the warp pad took them to...well it was hard to tell just where the heck they popped up at this time. Best Octi could make out there were trees...pretty good scenery and...a ship?!
"What the hell..?"
Octi ran up, trying to get into a better view of the ship. It made no sense...a ship like this in a forest area? It did look a little bit like a gem ship but..it had to have crash landed, or something. There weren't many logical reasons for it to even be here in the first place.'
"This is very fascinating...wonder if anyone's inside.."

Meanwhile aboard Fire Agate's Roaming Eye, above the wreckage...
"Ma'am, we located an unidentified spacecraft in the area... It's... huge."
A Ruby, clad in regalia of Yellow Diamond approached the tall Quartz Gem. The Quartz herself was most likely an Agate of some kind, wearing a very militant outfit with rubbery black boots, gloves and a scarf adored by Yellow Diamond's insignia. While the Ruby stood vigilantly at her side, the Quartz was sitting on a high chair in the middle of the ship, scrolling through some records. As soon as the corundum Gem ceased to speak, she formulated her reply.
The Quartz said calmly, not bothering to glance off at the Ruby from her record scrolling. - Clearly, a busy Gem.
"Fire Agate, Ma'am... should we scout the ship?"
The Ruby replied to the Quartz Officer, who appeared to be a Fire Agate specifically as mentioned by the Ruby directly. As the Ruby awaited her reply, Fire Agate shifted her right eye to the sweating small gem, nodding slightly.
"Mhm.. proceed with caution. - We are running low on your kind around these parts, Ruby. - Loosing you would mean more paperwork for me. - And if I hate one thing more than ordering you buffoons around, it is more paperwork."
Fire Agate expressed very bluntly and condescendingly. Soon, the Ruby chose to obey the order and dropped from the floating Roaming Eye to the ground with three other Rubies. - They started walking towards the ancient vessel.

Roaming eyes. Gaspeite didn't really like the designs of these ships very much, they felt too exposed and plain. But they were used, so that's what she would have to bear with. Her hand ship was destroyed in the mesosphere, as they were ready to engage hyperspeed. She really wished it didn't get destroyed, but here we are, using gravity connectors was never a problem for soldiers, and there weren't enough seats in here so Gaspeite simply stood.
From the conversation it sounded as the crew had found a ship right under here, a wreck ready to investigate. As the rubies dropped from the ship Gaspeite walked towards the exit saying, "I'll go down there with them, this seems rather interesting. And rubies can always use some backup, it would be a shame to lose any."
On that note, Gaspeite hopped down, making a moderately loud thud noise while landing on her feet, and went ahead with the rubies with her screen up, controlled by her lower left hand while observing the immediate area around here.

I'll show you wreckage you overgrown mango
Ever since Fuscite and Tanzanite had completed getting Old Ironsides back into a flight-worthy condition, the old pilot had been waiting for a good time for the vessel to fly once more. Fuscite was busy tidying up the ship when she heard a faint and foreign hummm approaching in the distance - no doubt an ominous sign. She had sent Tanzanite out for the day to practice her marksmanship away from the explosive ordnance locked within the confines of the ship's armory. Inquisitively, Fuscite stuck her head into one of the gunners' seats, in an effort to see if she could spot the source of the noise.
There was a large red... thing hovering above the ship. And it had eyes. Glowing, orange eyes. Practically flying to the crew quarters, Fuscite slid into her HOIMEA and opened the drop bay, sliding down the ladder and landing, visor aglow.Sprinting over to the odd thing, Fuscite activated her suit's cloaking technology and quickly faded from sight. Leaping up, Fuscite managed to get a boot onto the underside of the floating eye thing, anchoring her position with an audible thud. The scout quickly messaged for Tanzanite to hurry back before crawling up to where the eyes were, feeling the exterior of the teardrop-shaped mystery. It was metallic, glassy, and abnormally smooth. So either this was some kind of ship or an exoskeleton, perhaps. Completely unaware of the four Rubies, Gaspeite, and Bloodstone approaching Old Ironsides (as the giant hovering tabasco sauce drop had seized the ancient relic's attention), Fuscite decided there was only one way to find out what this thing truly was.
And so she rocket-punched the thing right where it's eyes were, the green flash from the small thruster being the only visible indicator of her presence. Besides the rocket punch, that is.
Bloodstone looked up when they heard the Roaming eye approaching the ship, it appeared to be the same one that Fire Agate piloted. Octi had...mixed feelings about the gem, they didn't exactly end the last conversation on good terms.
"Well this just keeps getting better and better now doesn't it."
Octi muttered and sighed, but seemed to ease up a little bit when they noticed their old friend Gaspeite on the ground along with some Rubies that also had come own from the Roaming Eye. And,...then she looked up in surprise as a green flash appeared in the sky before the noise of contact with metal was heard. Bloodstone couldn't tell what exactly had happened but..it was obvious SOMETHING was trying to take on the Roaming eye by itself
According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way something like the Roaming Eye would be able to fly. Of course, the Roaming Eye doesn't care what the laws of physics have to say and it flies anyways. - Despite all these odds, a single Gem in some antique piece of equipment couldn't possibly harm it. - Right? - Fuscite managed to only so much as to dent the foreign vessel with her super-powerful piece of equipment. - Being so old, the suit possibly doesn't have what it takes to take down an advanced Homeworld ship.
Meanwhile, inside the Roaming Eye....
Fire Agate managed to hear so much as a 'pong' sound, once the Fuscite hit the red ship. Bothering only to do so much as lifting her head, she quickly followed by lowering it back into the scrolling of data files, thinking it was most likely a fly hitting the hull.

Gaspeite was walking close behind the rubies. She had noticed Octavian in the distance, it seemed as if he was looking at her but quickly shifted to the roaming eyes. She heard a loud resonating metal "THUNK" above her head. She was very stressed about what had happened to the ship, and quickly after looking up, she saw nothing visible from down here. And she didn't actually see anything hit the ship... she giggled at the tought where the gem would have tried to hit it with anything but failed miserably, haha.
She then proceeded to wave at Octavian in the distance to come closer, walking along with the rubies unless they would stop. The small little gems as tall as her forearm were slowly making their way as she followed them towards the ship.

Alright, this thing obviously isn't organic. Fuscite noted as her rocket-powered punch failed to do any major damage to the floating enigma. Crawling to a different portion of the object, Fuscite was surprised to see a circular hatch - an access point inside! It's a ship. Huh. Haven't seen tech like this yet. The cloaked juggernaut slowly crawled inside and took up a position on the ceiling, observing the gems inside. And I thought Sugar's shuttle was modern. Chuckling to herself, Fuscite froze upon the realization that there was a group of gems making their way towards Old Ironsides. She was in their ship, and they were about to be in hers. Ironic. Lowering herself closer to the metal she was perched upon, Fuscite materialized a Holo-Fuscite right smack dab in the middle of the cockpit and let it go wild; Fuscite was just a wee bit territorial about her ship.
Tanzanite was busy nailing scarecrows when she got a transmission from Fuscite - an urgent distress signal! Grabbing the sack of weaponry, the purple gem rocketed back towards Fuscite. Literally. Zooming across the Earth on a jet-fueled beeline, Tanzanite was not silent or sneaky. Bouncing off of several unseen trees, Tanzanite skidded to a stop at the edge of the treeline - a group of foreign gems in sight. Hurriedly ruffling through the large sack, Tanzanite whipped out a rocket launcher - and unceremoniously crammed a warhead in.
Mere seconds after Fuscite had summoned her holographic henchman, she noticed a rocket burst out from the treeline towards the encroaching gems. She winced a bit as the resulting explosion took form.
Bloodstone smiled and waved at Gaspeite, noticing the other rubies that had gone down with the fusion. Although as he made his way over, he couldn't help but hear the sound of a...rocket?
"Gaspeite, heads up!"
Octi watched as he saw a rocket flying in from the distance and tried his best to dodge out of the way of the rocket as he watched it sail and make an impact where Gaspeite and the rubies were.It was hard to tell just who had fired it but once the smoke flew up, the berserker instantly started running his way over to where it landed, hoping that no one had been shattered in the impact...that would be very, very bad
The Rubies noticed the warhead heading their way only moments after Bloodstone shouted towards Gaspeite and them in order to warn the group before it is too late. - Wanting to escape their impending doom, the Rubies attempted to run away from the ever-closing object. However due to the Rubies being a bunch of dumb, cute, strawberry-colored buffoons, they managed to topple over each other in their attempt to run. Once the warhead landed, the Rubies were scattered across the site by the explosion. - Most of them seemed okay but very disoriented and hardly conscious. - Hopefully, Gaspeite can fend herself off better.
Meanwhile Aboard the Roaming Eye...
Fire Agate didn't notice the strange Gem sneaking up on her just yet, she was still casually scrolling through the records. - Suddenly, the radar caught something large approaching in the distance. - Before she could warn the Rubies, it was already too late. - Obviously, she wanted to investigate the site herself, so naturally she landed the ship and approached the hatch. On normal occasions, she would simply walk out... But low and behold, a mysterious Gem Hologram took residence there, spazzing around.
"And... WHAT THE STARS ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO BE?!"
Fire Agate firstly proclaimed calmly, but once the word 'who' sounded, it was clear that she did not intend on keeping that intonation. Every word that followed after that was full of spiteful shouting, accompanied by her eyebrow twitching and ticking violently in anger.

Gaspeite and the rubies were slowly advancing, she didn't look at Bloodstone yet but was rather noting things on her screen, looking over what she wrote about her very rudimentary search for Carbide. "This planet is big, I wonder-
In a moment of consciousness, and after hearing what sounded like thrusters, Gaspeite turns around over Octi's voice... She was frozen in place, her face emptying itself of any colours as an instant fear finishes to install itself, her eyes widening more than they ever did at the sight of what was coming towards her. She watched as the rubies were failing to do anything, as the gem warhead was straight making it's way towards them. Gaspeite didn't have the time to think, obviously Agate didn't want to lose her rubies, and Gaspeite knew she had to act, because even after training with bloodstone, she wasn't agile enough to carry 4 rubies and save herself at the same time.
In a flash and in one thought, Gaspeite in a quick motion bent her legs, then sprang herself towards the incoming explosive, while making her armor appear. She lowered her visor and above a couple meters off the ground, there was impact. A huge blast followed by intense smoke settled itself as you could see the corpses of some gems be projected around the smoke zone.
The gems would see the rubies fly off from the smoke, but wait... merely a second after the rubies, a figure mixed of some green and orange flew up towards Octi. It wasn't quite as big as Gaspeite, nor did it have 4 arms, but it sure flew high before falling at a rough degree on the ground. It was a gem, hitting the ground like a rock a couple meters near Bloodstone's feet, in a loud rock-splosion, lifting off dust from the soil for a couple of seconds.
Meanwhile Outside the roaming eye...
A loud glass impact was heard inside the ship as a triangular-shaped (with pretty sharp edges) very familiar and green item got itself stuck halfway through the window of the ship. If it wasn't for Fire Agate yelling, it would be clear, but the impact was masked by her voice.

Tanzanite laughed a bit as the rocket exploded, having never before seen the explosions the weapon created. The purple glow of her visor could barely be seen amidst the branches, but a sharp-eyed gem would indeed notice it if they looked in her direction. Loading another warhead into the launcher - the second of the three she had in the sack - Tanzanite knelt down on one knee and aimed, dead center, at the crack one of the launched gems had made when it got stuck in the ship. I wonder where Fuscite is, Tanzanite mused as she fired the second rocket.
The Holo-Fuscite was doing a good job of messing with the supposed captain of the vessel, allowing the invisible gem to slink around like a lubed-up Pink Panther. Closely observing the central console, Fuscite pressed a large, round button - and finally closed the hatch. Swiveling the chair around, Fuscite jumped a bit as a small green gemstone came crashing through the viewport - and got lodged halfway through the glass. The scout leaned to the side a bit as Tanzanite's missile rocketed out from the treeline- straight towards the viewport. A somewhat alarmed expression on her face, Fuscite slammed her fist back down on that round button and nabbed the unfortunate green gemstone. In a bright green flash, she flew to tackle the giant mango with anger issues in an effort to shield her from the incoming explosion.
Bloodstone breathed a sigh of relief when they saw that none of the Rubies appeared to be shattered but was thrown back a tiny bit by the impact of the gem who landed close by. It didn't look like Gaspeite..considering the size, the fusion must have been split by the force of the impact
"Hang on! Let me help you up!"
Octi ran over to the gem who had landed in the ground and slid into the mini crater that had formed, helping the gem stand back up the best they could. Bloodstone had never dealt with a split fusion before...or at least one like this.
"Are you alright..? That was quite the explosion there, I can try to help you out of this if you want."
Fire Agate was suddenly surprised by the quick escapade of several strange and bewildering events. - First, she was tackled by some tiny, green runt with a Gemstone in hands. - Before she could even properly punch that green thing in the face, a warhead slammed itself into the ship and broke the window.
As if that wasn't enough, the entirety of the Roaming Eye was blasted several feet back and everything inside change its position into a maze of wreckage. - It was really unclear if the ship would still function after this, but it will definitely need some repairs whether or not it actually flies.
Oh well, Fire Agate couldn't really do anything about that, but she could still clear the rubble and shrapnel from her body with relative ease, due to Fuscite taking most of the impact. Once that was done, she simply stood up... If her eyebrow was twitching before, well now it is twitching twice as much. - She would clear her throat and kick Fuscite to the other side of the ship if she didn't somehow manage to dodge.
"WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?!"
She shouted so loud that it could be heard miles across. - In fact, birds all around the Old Ironsides flew away from the trees and most of the wildlife was sent fleeing, as if some sort of predator was approaching. Obviously, Bloodstone, Rubies and Fuscite's crewmate could hear the voice, loud and clear.... too loud and clear.

The smoke was setting slowly, the rubies were scattered around the impact zone by a slight bit, Gaspeite couldn't have handled to go as fast as the missile to reduce the impact so it didn't blast away things behind her.
The gem was buried half a meter into a small crater, opening her eyes with a rather loud buzzing sound in her ears. Trying to regain a bit of consciousness, she first moved her arms very slowly.. wait, only two arms?! After a couple seconds she heard what sounded like Octavian's voice, which made her smile weirdly, as she was still looking at the sky that seemed to warp around. A silhouette then appeared close, it was Bloodstone quickly coming towards her, helping her to get up.
She grabbed their hand and shakily stood up on her feet. At that point, Vesuvianite looked at Octi straight in the eyes for a second. She was his height, and was bearing a very similar body shape. That's normal, because both gems were designed like Quartzes, even though Vesuvianite isn't from that specimen of gem.
Vesuvianite talked in a deep voice, but in this case it also sounded in trouble. "At least... I hope she's ok..."
Bloodstone would see the desperate gem's projection warp for a second, glitching out but very slightly. She then proceeded to take a step forward and fall into a hug directed towards Octavian, just how she saw Carbide do in the past. After a couple of seconds and a warm hug, she took one step backwards while rubbing her forehead whit her eyes closed like she had a migraine. She would talk, but still in a shook up manner.
"Yeah, ehh... ", and the the realisation kicks in, "Peridot! Where-" She then turned her head to look at the ship which was getting blasted by a second rocket. Where could Peridot be?!

This Roleplay is a prequel to Steven Universe to an extent with some slight retconing and its own progression to the story that will turn out differently to how stuff plays out in the show. Thanks to the message by Rose Quartz several gems are rising up to protect Earth and have labelled themselves as the Crystal Gems. Others on earth are remaining aligned to Homeworld though despite the isolation of Earth from Homeworld
All gems on earth are still stranded, the communication hub is still offline and all the space warps are shattered, it has now been revealed that this is the work of Rose Quartz and her small group known as the Crystal gems. They have rebelled against Homeworld and have chosen to protect the Earth (Trapping themselves on Homeworld to keep the warps down).
Now both sides are fighting among themselves along with fighting against the 'Corruption' a virus is infecting many gems turning most of them into mindless monsters, but those with a stronger will seem to becoming something more sinister.
The Game has changed now. The question has finally been posed, are you against Homeworld or allied with them. Or do you have your own agenda that may or may not been assisted by the ‘Corruption’. Regardless the seeds have been placed down and although it is only the beginning the fight for or against Earth and the corruption has begun. The choice is yours for how it is shaped on the Original Steven Universe Roleplay Site.
Orginal Opening Plot Here Thread That Changed Everything
Differances Between the Roleplay and the Show
*Thanks to Rose Quartz' message the Gems on Earth are entirely aware that the Homeworld Gems intend to wipe out the human race.
*The "corruption"'s Origin is still unknown, some suspect it was a viral infection, other claim it was a Diamond experiment gone awry and other suspect the organics were behind it. Regardless no one seem to have a proper answer about what it was and why its only isolated to Earth
*Garnet, Pearl and Rose are assumed capture on Homeworld
*Garnet,Pearl and Rose broke the space warps to delay Homeworld
*Thanks to Roses Message gems now know what the Kindergarten was used for
