"I don't believe Gaspeite cares about this world beyond the resources... humans, their culture, thousands years of history... philosophy and more..."
It was quite clear that Chip didn't approve of that behaviour. He really despised that... in his eyes Earth was something special. But it didn't really mean anything since Earth was the only place he ever knew... so there was nothing to compare it too.
"It's nice that you saved Pearl too. I like helping others in need. Gems as well as humans..."
It was strangely fitting that Morion's Pearl was Black. Universe really had strange sense for humour. "And yeah, I agree with Morion. You can have home here if you want... you can be free or you can... help someone if you want."
He really didn't want to use the word "serve". He lived among humans for too long. He "knew" that slavery was bad thing and serving sound too much like slavery to him. It was really difficult to get rid of those customs. He was too used to it.
"Morion might be really busy, but I'm not. So I can take care about bubbling the potential enemies..."

Gaspeite put her thumb and inder on her forehead, hiding her face behind her hand while thinking. She was used to talk way too firmly, and seeing how the gems around her were very flexible on the subject of Homeworld and everything around it, she kinda... she saw her cool and her structure get demolished slowly, and even more after this bit of chat. She didn't believe she was still talking to these obviously foolish gems.. she.. she was about to go full berserk...
She took a sip of it before talking with an impressively confident look, along a side smile. "I believe I've been to direct here, I'll stop putting a mask now. Morion, my gem is Gaspeite, and you'll remember it in the future instead of calling me by... random things, here, am I right? Anyway. I must finally admit that this planet DOES have a lot of nice things to give us. I simply don't have the time to care, after all, gems aren't supposed to go buddy-buddy with the enemy or play around. Or supposed to merge into other cultures, heh."
She took another sip from her mug, looking in the distance to the side without exactly looking at anything in particular.
"Ha!... Pearl protection league, I heard everything. Apart from this, I do agree that this is a good place for gems to stay around. There just might be an abundant row of gems which are "too free" here. Nothing against this, but I'm worried about the fact that Diamonds do not let gems go eat pizzas, wander around mindlessly, play or create long-term friendships. I don't want any soldier to have to get shattered because they've been playing around too much. And that includes you, Smokey, she said before dry laughing once, taking another sip of coffee. Yeah, as a commander I care about your integrity, even though you haven't been very friendly towards my person since we've met. I'll add that every gem has a place in the caste. Even after failing their duty. Although, I'll need to revise my point of view on shattering from now on, as I'll witness a load of it when Pinkie gets her matriarchal grasp of this planet back.
Gaspeite took a couple of steps away from the group, after downing most of her coffee. "I've got a lot of things to take care of, and won't stay here any longer if it's only to get trash talked or waste my time. Smokey Quartz and Opal, I wish you both to prosper with your ideals as you savor your time here while I'm away. Plum, welcome back to Earth. I hope you can find your path in ways I couldn't possibly show you", she said before finally walking her way out of the building. She should have done this earlier, but was too frustrated to even think about anything else than the two blokes blattering idiocy out of their mouth. After all, she would hate for them to be hurt, although for the price of it Gaspeite would hurt them herself. Plum was too fresh and clever to convince not to stay around these, and really needed someone else than Gaspeite to be shown around - at least, she set the doubt on Morion to flow in her mind, for her to stay away from their usual genuine nonsense.
((-I'm out. I couldn't bear to roleplay this scene any longer...-))
Oh dear.. Oh dear oh dear oh dear! Plum certainly wasn't expecting half of the gems she knew on this planet ( Ok so she only knows two, but STILL!) to huff-up and storm out of the great hall , after landing what Plum could only assume were some very poignant and sick-burns by today's lingual standards. While she was somewhat stumped and taken back, she was still not unfamiliar with social conventions as well as how things can kind of build up for others, and she figured there had to be something that centered on the fusion herself being.. well.. a fusion that had factored into it all...
"Oh dear, oh my oh...oh.." Plum wrings her hands somewhat awkwardly, not knowing quite what to do. At least she had made it thorough general introductions and all that before having to weather a social road-bump, and at least she had established that she was welcome and safe here, and free to.. heh.. free.. that was an odd concept.. Anyway, yes.. Free to serve who she wished and learn and explore around the area and presumably the tower. There had even been some mention of the large ship overhead as being a possibility.
"Well, Sirs, I am afraid that was somewhat unforeseen on my part. I did not wish my presence to be partially responsible for a falling out between home world and local colony governance. Perhaps I could try and smooth out the ripples some time, in the hopes of re-establishing a umm.. favorable, rapport with all parties, hmm?"
Suddenly it felt like some of the energy drain from the past two hundred years was catching up with her. Being free of the relic certainly helped, but it seemed that the bit of energy she had recouped was nearing its point of expenditure, as she clutches the side of her head and staggers a step before she regains her composure. "Im..sorry, I think that I may need a bit more recuperation that I had hoped. Not very useful of me.."
The Smoky Quartz let the Fusion go Nodded to his humans, not to fallow the troubled warmachine
"Forgive Gaspeite, she is nothing more than an experiment... who , in a sense, failed her missions. I think she is juts afraid, what will Her Diamond do, when she arrives. Will She order Her separation? What will Her Diamond do..."
He shook his head There is a reason -well several reasons - I despise Warmachines... Fusions. They are never ment to be exist too long, to form "personalities". Not to mention, Gems from different kind, never ment to fuse in the first place...."
The Smoky Quartz smirked
"BUt... she is gone, and I hope she stays on our side. Chip my boy, be a good lad, and keep an eye on her. I don't want her to become a Crystal Gem, just to save her skin..."
He never gave the order to... prevent that Morion trusted in Chip

Gaspeite stormed out of the room and Chip couldn't really care less. That gem was so... strange. She probably knew Pink Diamond and could even knew parts of her plans for Earth, but Chip just refused to accept that. In his mind Pink Diamond wasn't going to hurt Earth. "Don't worry about that, she will be fine... she just need time to come around. And it really isn't your fault... she and I have some different views on certain things... it's hard for us to see eye to eye... "
The fact was, that last time Chip was prepared to blast her apart so he understated the whole problem. But he was really trying to be diplomatic.
"Sure thing, I will try to do what I can to help Plum. "
He answered to Morion.
"Perhaps spending some time in M-tower might help you? We have human computers here... devices connected to human information network. You can perhaps find some information you need there. Otherwise there are some recreational areas which might help you..."
Plum laced her fingers in front of her lap and ponders for a moment, the questions and offers of hospitality from her two hosts before her. It was in her nature not to want to be too much of a bother to anyone, while she was not yet at 100%
"If it please you both,I think that I could use some quiet quarters, with some natural light, and a data terminal for now. I think there is an awful lot to catch up on and despite being overjoyed to be free, the sudden interaction and the umm.. drama that just broke out has me a wee bit rattled."
She glanced over her shoulder at the empty staircase which lead to the lobby below, where Gaspeite had stormed off. Her instincts drove her initally to want to help, but she figured that the fusion could use some time to sort.. er.. themselves out.
"So.. umm yes, a place to get my mind in order would suffice for now, sirs, thank you."
Plum then nodded and gave a quick but curt diamond salute.
Melody: as usual, just waiting for posts

This Roleplay is a prequel to Steven Universe to an extent with some slight retconing and its own progression to the story that will turn out differently to how stuff plays out in the show. Thanks to the message by Rose Quartz several gems are rising up to protect Earth and have labelled themselves as the Crystal Gems. Others on earth are remaining aligned to Homeworld though despite the isolation of Earth from Homeworld
All gems on earth are still stranded, the communication hub is still offline and all the space warps are shattered, it has now been revealed that this is the work of Rose Quartz and her small group known as the Crystal gems. They have rebelled against Homeworld and have chosen to protect the Earth (Trapping themselves on Homeworld to keep the warps down).
Now both sides are fighting among themselves along with fighting against the 'Corruption' a virus is infecting many gems turning most of them into mindless monsters, but those with a stronger will seem to becoming something more sinister.
The Game has changed now. The question has finally been posed, are you against Homeworld or allied with them. Or do you have your own agenda that may or may not been assisted by the ‘Corruption’. Regardless the seeds have been placed down and although it is only the beginning the fight for or against Earth and the corruption has begun. The choice is yours for how it is shaped on the Original Steven Universe Roleplay Site.
