Between a rock and a hard place (Closed - several Gems)

[Lets help the story a bit; the post order now Light then Howlite, I will notify you Bloodstone when you are next^^]

The Bull monster was enormous!
Deadly hooves and horns, with terrible claws



Mocha wasn't an enemy for the corrupted monstorsity... poofed the fake Gem quickly, then turned its attention to the main course!
Howlite
The hunter was quite agile, but the fiend was strong and tho' lacked the intelligence, he compensated it with instincts, hatred and malice
Not to mention the blazing heat souranded it
Once the bull monster maybe was a Gem responsible who worked in a Forge, or hazardous enviroment, full of glowing hot magma and the molten blood of the planet
Now the same crimson heat cursed in its hard light veins, giving it burning touch, blazing hooves, glowin claws like hot iron!
And it could hit as hard as a hammer on an anvil; Howlite learned it on the hard way, when an uppercut sent him to fly, smashed him to...
...the side of his own ship?!
He landed between the arrived Bloodstone and Light
For them it was a misterious Gem in trouble... followed by a Corrupted Monster, that stopped and...
...suddenly the world was silent
The beast (that Howlite tried not to hurt) stopped
Then ran away
But there was no time to celebrate, the twisted forest trabled, cracked, and another arrived




One monster, large enough to swallow the ship and the Gems with it...
The beast turned to the tiro, opened it maw, and let out a low whale like shriek... then the huge body turned, twisted and the monster attacked!
...the Moon Goddess watched over the Gems it seemed, becasue their corrupted sister missed them - thanks to the misterious Gem's heroic effort, to push them away, tho' the spikes almost poffed his body; cold hard-light Gem blood splashed to Light and Bloodstone, the liquid life force of their savior - , only koncked the ship away, in to the woods, and the earth opened under them, they have landed in the dark belly of the Earth, in a cave
The earth was shaking, sharp rocks landed, the celing started to colapse
From the dark tunel behid them, the beast roared...
Then half of the cave colapsed, right on the top of the head of Bloodstone
After tat... darkness souranded the duo
When Light regained his consciousness, he was in the dark cave; but not alone... Bloodstone was nowhere to be found (Light could recall, he saw his friend crushed... under the tons of falling rock) but the misterious Gem lied next to him, barely keeping together, almost poofed from the wounds he suffered from the fights to save them
In the Pearls faint light, Light Mocha Pearl recognised their "hero"
The Broken Gem monster... HOWLITE! 

[Light]

Suddenly a mysterious gem hit the ship. It was hard for Pearl to talk with new people... and this one come out of nowere. He grabed Bloodstone arm and tried to say something "Hmmm... are you okay?"

Suddenly he saw a big corrupted monster. He whispered something with scared voice "I think it might be my new worst day in my whole life."

Luckly beast run away He said something with a quiet voice. "I love my luck."  Suddenly another, much bigger monster appeared. "Oh my..." It attacked, Light hugged Bloodstone and started screaming "UGGGHHHHHH!" Suddenly That gem, it looked familiar for some reason... saved them "You are alive!" 

Earth opened under them and they fall to the cave. Than the rocks fall and destroyed the exit... Bloodstone was standing there. "No no no no! Not she!" Pearl tried to get rid of the rocks so he would help his friend. But they were too big, it was pointless "No... NO! Why not me!  She didn't deserve this faith!" He started to cry. 

After few seconds he looked around. There was this weird gem. He recognized him "I... uhh... wait a moment... Howlite...?" Light closed his eyes and opened them again. "HOWLITE?!?!" Light summoned his gem weapon as soon as posible, he approached to the exit that was blocked by rocks while still looking at the gem. He had no idea what to say, he had a scared face with wide open eyes.

[Howlite]

Howlite was not having a good day. He had been impaled, bitten stabbed, and spiked in 15 minutes. He was bleeding all over and his gem was covered in cracks. One more hit and he may shatter. He was covered in liquid light. He tried to stand but fell over. Suddenly he recognized someone. Pearl? Is that- he started loudly coughing and his from glitched a few times. He slowly started to crawl towards him. Once he finally did, he put a hand on his foot.I'd hug you if I could stand. This is as closeness I can get. I... I hope... He glitched again and coughed some more. I hope your okay. I ain't feeling so hot myself. He laughed weakly. It sounded like he was breathing out of a paper bag. 

[Light]

Light moved  away when Howlite touched his foot. 

He had no idea what is that gem doing here. Light would love to just poof his form and bubble him. There were 2 small problems though. First of all his gem was damaged and tired, he was afraid that poofing him will only make the situation even worse. He also never poofed anyone. It wasn't something bad but it was still weird to do that. 

He didn't even wanted to speak to him, however it was imposible in situation like this one. He spoke with a serious voice "Wyat are you doing here...?" 

Than he started to dig in a wall, may e there was stil a change to help Bloodstone. "I am sorry... I will come back for your shards..." He started to cry a lot and punched the wall with all his power. It just caused more pain.  He made a terrible sound "Ughhh!!!"

After 5 more min he cleaned his face and summoned 2 holo pearls  (Holo#1 with its flying form was all this time near and was a light source). "Take him and follow me." Holograms grabed him and started following him. Light started to search for the other exit. Holo#1 was flying near his head so Pearl could see everything.

[Howlite]

As Howlite was dragged, his humor kicked in.You're a terrible pilot. I'll have to apologise to the Dreadnaught for your bad flying skills. He laughed weakly then coughed again. What were you doing here anyways? The Dreadnaught isn't meant to be flown by a Pearl. It's meant for my hands and mine alone. Seriously though I thought you were Morion's house boy now. You leave him yet? I'm still pissed at Flint and Blue for leaving you like that. I outta have a word with both of them. Flint is just a brutish idiot who doesn't know what he's talking about. He made a grave mistake for abandoning you. I never would've expected Blue to leave you though. She seemed so nice. 

[Light]

Light ignored howlite's comment about him being a terrible pilot. Pearl think his friends just die, he is trappend in the underground and he is suppose to take care of the serial killer. Not to mention that there can be some corrupted gems.

Suddenly Howlite mentioned Flint and Blue. Light got pushed around a lot by them... but they used to be his good friends. Sometimes he was wondering how are they. But than he realize what Flint did. The only thing he cares about is his  own happiness, Light didn't want to look at his face or hear about him anymore. "I don't want to talk about this... Let's keep going. Morion will take you and send you to Sulfur... I am not going to have a contact with your stupid group."

[Howlite]

Not exactly feasible unless we get outta here. Hmmm what are you here for? Perhaps... Could it be?... Oh my stars yes! He had an idea. The Dreadnaught's programming! Depending on it's set function ... It could find us. Assuming you didn't screw up her console... She's on Bounty Track mode. She's gonna lock onto any signal of equal frequency to a Hunter's Beacon.  Too bad there's no signal anywhere near here. (I just had to do that) Howlite was thinking about his old ship. All the things he'd been through with the ship. Especially the back cargo room. But that was a story for another day. He missed his old home. He could hop around from planet to planet. Earth one day. Mars the next. Then right back to Earth. 

[Light]

"Yeah... that is how we find you. We thought you are some kind of weird Homeworld macine. But it was you..." Light realized something it wasn't his fault Bloodstone die! It was Howlite's fault. He was the one who them come here.

Pearl stopped walking "You... You are the one who killed Bloodstone!" He summoned his gem weapon and was going to attack but he stoped himself "And I wasn't able to protect her..."  Light unsummoned his gem weapon and started to walk again. Howlite couldn't see it but he was crying... again.

"Holo#2, please cover his mouth, a corrupted gem or something else may hear us and attack. We don't want this to happen."  Hologram covered Howlite's mouth with its hand.

[Howlite]

Howlite froze at the mention of a machine. Weird Homeworld machine? Could it be....? No. There was no way. Unless... His eyes widened. Pearl... You couldn't have picked up my signature.  I don't register that kind of frequency. The only logical reason of you picking something up is... You somehow picked up a Hunter's Beacon. We gotta find it! He then heard Pearl mourn for a gem's death. It was his fault? Before he could apologise a gag went into his mouth. He didn't talk but tears streamed down his eyes as he mourned for Pearl's loss. He didn't mean to kill anyone. This was not working out so great. He finally saw Pearl once again and already things were going bad. 

[Light]

"Why would we? What is so special about your stupid device? It just makes problems."

They were walking like this for a few more minutes. Suddenly gems could hear something. It was digging in the ground near them. Holo Pearls made a battle position and ummoned their swords. So one of them also took hand out of howlite's mouth. A weird corrupted gem appeared. It was small mole like creature with sharp fangs. It was pretty fast, it tried to tackle Light. However he was fast and dodged the attack. Mole tried to repeat his action. Light had an idea "This gem... IT spend all of his life in the ground!"

Pearl summoned the hologram infront of monster's face. It started to move widelt, it wasn't able to attack. after a while it just dug a tunnel and run away.  "There might be more of them, let's keep going."

Light thinked about Bloodstone again "Why I wasn't good enough before?"

[Howlite]

Howlite was finally able to speak. After the fight, he chuckled. That stupid machine just so happens to be our key to survival. The device is called a Hunter's Beacon. Specifically programmed to deliver contracts to Howlite ships. If I can find it, I can rewire the system and send a distress signal to my ship. Then it will come and get us. Sound stupid now? That Beacon will help us. And I'm sorry about your friend. I don't want anymore death. I've already given up killing. Yet it seems I've killed your friend. I know that there's nothing I can say or do to make up for all I've ever done for you. I just wish that it never happened. I am truly sorry. I would ask forgiveness but frankly I'm not sure I deserve it. 

[Light]

Light looked at Howlite with poker face (people tell me in real life that my face looks like a typical poker face. I am not sure if it is the compliment xD)."Let's go for your beacon."

Light wasn't sure about trusting Howlite. After all why would he trust him? After everything he did? It could be a trap. But there was nothing else he could do. So he had no other choice but to find the device with him. Light was afraid that he will use this thing as the weapon. It was probably some kind of not common machine from hw. He never heard of such a thing.

While walking Light was looking at the ground. He was thinking about the past, present and future. Was it the end? 

[Howlite]

As Light agreed, he chuckled weakly. So you have a brain in your skull after all. I don't feel too well. Look... I'm sorry about all I did. I'm telling you now because I don't know how much longer I can keep this form. I've changed my ways. I've given up killing. I've began making amends with other gems who I've hurt. I even patched things up with Slugger. Now I don't expect your forgiveness. I'm simply telling you that I've  changed. There's nothing I can say or do to make up for the pain I caused. Even Mocha is a little bit nicer. To me at least. Poor Mocha. She's the most important thing in the world to me. She got poofed and is in my pocket right now. I only hope she's ok. I should've never brought her here.

[Light]

Light was done with Howlite's joke about him being stupid. "Holo#2 Cover his mouth again!" While most gem probably wouldn't take it seriously, Light was taking everything seriously. He was done with being the worse one. Now Howlite was the weak now. 

"And why would I believe you after what you did?! You were lying all the time that you changed. While in reality you were killing humans and gems. You were also stealing and doing other bad things! I believe you that time and what happened?!" Light was actually acting angry, rare thing to see. 

"Ohhh... so she did find you. She? Nice? Good joke. I spend 7 years with her inside me and few years when she was a normal gem. It is not a nice gem."

[Howlite]

Howlite sighed. You're right not to trust me. I've got a tainted record. I wish I could take it all back. I've changed this time I'm serious. Pearl think this through. What possibly could I hope to gain from lying to you? I'm dying. If I can't find a way to heal soon... I'm finished. If we can't find the Beacon then I'll die. I'll die without being able to help those I hurt. Pearl... if I ever get out of here alive... I promise to treat you like a brother. A real brother. His form glitched and he coughed when he came back into focus. You deserve better than what I did to you. I should never have done those things to you. Pearl... I'm sorry. He began to cry as he thought about all the things he had done to Pearl.
