[Morion]

The Smoky Quartz black gem rested on a pillow in his room
He retreated in to it... to think
To plan
To reform in a new shape
Few knew, the Smoky Quartz’s humanoid shape wasn’t his default; since the Rebellion Morion used the form of an alien panther and only shapeshifted in to different forms to interract with Gems and Humans
But this time, he had to re-design his form, the mission required it
The gem started to float, then the hard light body formed around it, changing, forming
Finally the Smoky Quartz reformed in his appearance
Her new appearance to this mission
Back on Homeworld Morion worked alone, his job was a lonely one, but the little... problem with the Mirrorrs required sometimes the aid of a Pearl. Rent-a-Pearl. Morion never owned one.
Well, that changed,but Black Pearl had to left out of this, like Chip, his young Fire Opal apprentice
Or Bloodstone
Turst wasn't Morion's strong features these days
Anyhow, time she had the luxury of a crew, trained makeup artists, to help her to disguse herself
After several hours of work, makeup and a fake Gem, the Quartz nodded
Changed voice, changed form... she was satisfied with the result



She was now a Yellow Agate, Science Officer... and future Crystal Gem

„...I can't belive you will do this to him...”

The voice of Morion beloved Demetry said quietly in her head
The ghostly form of the Owyhee Jasper formed, but only she could see him


"Light is a good Gem!"

Traitor, like the rest my beloved

"Light belives in something!"

The ghostly form argued gently
Yes, I know Demetry. But...

„You are You. It is an improvement, since you never been yourselfe before. Try not to hurt him, okay?”

The immaginary Jasper smiled and hugged her. The Quartz shook her head a little; she didn’t wanted to hurt Light
But to see his world!

The tall Yellow Agate checked the coordinates Peridot gave to her
And looked up to the mountain where the Forge (in theory) was
The Infiltrator hoped some Crystal Gems will shows up... eventually

[Light]

Light was spending some  time in a Forge. Lady Para actually wasn't here though. She usually spends here most of ger time.  Maybe she wanted to take a break from making golems or just wanted some fresh air? Light was cleaning and dancing to the music. The bakelite radio of Light's was standing on the anvil, in the place were Para was usually working.

"Human's music really is amazing. Our kind never created something that can make someone so happy after a few seconds. I wonder if Lady Para would also like this music. It ks really catchy and so positive! I am afraid she prefer more serious music... I never met a serious person that like positive music. Now that I think about it I don't know any serious gems that listen to the music."

[Morion]

Music...
The Infiltrator followed the mountain path... the information Peridot gave Moiron was detailed
It was... strange tho'

"You expected some resistance am I right?"

The voicer of Demetry asked with a giggle

"Guards, robonoids, or something... you dusty old Quartz, times changed!"

It is a trick Demetry, I know!
The Quartz was certain, there were hidden turrets or something

"Or, the Crystal Gems are not the bad guys you love to belive?"

The voice asked gently
I alway knew they are not a threat my beloved! And don't forget, this is the Artisan's base, who herself said, not really a Crystal Gem!

"Well, I guess you will find out eventually..."

Yellow Aggate rubbed the bridge of her nose
Demetry was right.... well of coruse he was, after all, he was just the part of Morion's mind, but still^^
Slowly, the Gem walked to the gates

[Light]

Ligth was still cleaning the mess here, he also started to sing because he now remembered the lyrics. He was so dedicated to it that he probably didn't saw a gem in the door. 

"Mr. Blue you did it right! But soon comes Mr.- UGHHHH!" Light realized that there is a Yellow Agate here. He run to the radio as fast as posible and turned it off. 

Last time when he met a new gem he forgot to make a diamond salute. This time he made one though. He was standing there infront of gem. He was having his hands behind his back. He was nervous but tried to say something anyway. "This is the Forge of the great Lady Paradpasha! She is a great reb- I mean Artisan! Could you come back here another time? She is not here right now." Light was shaking. He was hiding something. That he and Para are Crystal Gems!

[Morion]

She followed the music

"Admit it, they have a good taste..."

The voice in her head giggled
The Quartz said nothing, just looked around
So this was the Forge
The (suposed) Armory of the Crystal Gems
Truth to be told, she was a bit dissapointed
The tall Yellow Agate looked around, then down to the Pearl

"You... are a Pearl. You are cute"

She patted the head of the nervous servant

"So this is a forge... who is this Lady Paradpasha? I am Yellow Agate, science officer of the Kindergarten in Facet Nine"

The "Beta" Kindergarten in the desert, near to the laboratory Morion and Chip found and claimed
but it was a nice disguise^^

"Or I was, untill one of my Peridots went insane after a rebbel attack and turned the deffense systems against us. Screaming she doing it for the Home World, gunned us down... never tought I would be betryed by her!"

She explained quietly

"I guess I wasn't Loyal "enough" for her. I refused to allow her to experiment on captured Gems, and use Pearls to power our shileds to defend the facility..."

Yellow agate shook her head, while Demetry's voice whispered in her head

"This is low, even from you! Using whats happened with this poor Pearl to win his sympathy..."

Please beloved, Light is on the wrong path! I have to see his world to understand why! After that misrable faliure with Chip, I don't want to lose any more potential heroes
The Yellow Agate shook her head again

"Sorry, what did you say, whats your name little Pearl? Don't worry, I'm not going to hurt you! See? No weapons!"

She hold up her hands

[Light]

"I am whaaat?" Light was confused and embarrassed. He was blushing and sweating (gems can sweat...?). Being patted by a weird gem didn't help.

"Lady Padparadsha? She is making weapons, shields and other usefull things for gems that need something... Now she is a partner of Morion, the Blue Diamond's eyes. They are prepearing for the war... I think.." Light was really nervous, he didn't want to talk "I am afraid I didn't get permission to talk about these topics Lady Yello Agate. I am just a cleaner here..."

So this Agate helped Pearls and does not look that bad. Maybe she wasn't that bad as Light thought she is. He become a little bit less nervous.  "Ohhh... That is terrible. I am sorry that this Peridot was acting so awful."

Stranger wanted to know more about Light. It was kinda odd but Pearl decided to answer her question anyway "I... don't know what my cut is but... I am prototype of Mocha Pearl nr 0001 aka Light Mocha Pearl. Now I am the servant of great Lady Padparadsha." 

Light tried to act as a Pearl on Homeworld side, there was no other way. She wasn't a Crystal Gem after all.

[Morion]

"You are a cute Pearl"

Yellow Agate smiled

"Don't be nervous! Okay? Its making me uncomfortable..."

She looked around

"Your Mistress making... things for other Gems. Every Gem, regardless of the alleigence of the Gem in question? Rebels and Loyals?"

She nodded

"I tought your Mistress is a benevolent Gem! But "selling" weapons and shields for both side in a war? Thats pretty evil thing to do. "

The Agate shook her head

"If she makes them only for the Loyal Gems? Then this is a Loyal stronghold and I guess I am your prisoner now? Since I told you, basically I have rebelled too... I have a question then! Will I be poofed? I hope you will do it then, I don't want to be captured by a... Quartz!"

She smiled, caressing the face of Light gently

" BUT if she made those things for the Rebels? Then she is a traitor, and you must be one too... "

Yellow Agate poked the nose of Light with a smile^^

"So tell me Light Mocha Pearl, servant of Lady Padparadsha, what is the situation? "

[Light]

Light felt extremly uncomfortable. It is odd to see stranger calling you cute and you nose being poked by them. Her question were only making it worse. He also didn't understand why she is shaking her head so often "You see... uhhhh... I think I was suppose to do something right now! I will be back soon!" He ran to his room "OH MY STARS!" 

Light grabed a pencil and some paper. He started to write a message to Lady Para on his cloud like desk

"Dear Lady Para.

I was cleaning the Forge when a weird Yellow Agate came in! I totally need your help! She is wondering who you are! She also said I am cute and poked my nose! I have got no idea how to act. She is also shaking her head like she had some problems with it! I just think that you should come here... if this is possible of course. I don't want to bother you.

Oh anyway I saw a nice and small tree in a shop today. It would look marvelous on the outside near the door of the Forge. I also bough orange tea, is that okay? Last time we were only drinking green and apple tee. However these were gone and I couldn't find them.

I JUST REALIZED THAT I SHOULDN'T LEAVE A STRANGER HERE ALONE! I am sorry! It won't happen again! I am going to check her now!

PS: can you buy paper if you are in a shop? I think I am typing too much. " 


Pearl than summoned Holo#1 in a flying form "Please give this paper to Lady Para!" He gave it a paper and left a room with the hologram. He than opened the door of the Forge and Holo flew away "I was suppose to send someone a message... I hope you understand."

"So... you wanted to know who is Lady Padparadsha making weapons for, right? Well... that is kinda funny because... we are also rebels" There was no point in hiding that information. That gems couldn't be a loyalist, she was acting too weird. Homeworld don't have a lot of defective gems. He wasn't sure if she was defective. But this head shaking was unnatural. 

[Morion]

"Uhm.."

Yellow Agate blinked as the Pearl stromed off

"This was interesting..."

The voice of Demetry whispered in her head
Light is... a strange Gem beloved. Well, at leqast I can look around"

"True, but the Artisan surely watching her "lair"

The Infiltrator looked around, searching for surveillance devices
But then just walked around... the Forge was a strange place
When Light came back, she turned to the Pearl

"No problem"

She nodded to the excuse

"So, you are Rebels. And she is making weapons for the Rebels. I am not that rebellious Light! I am not a Crystal Gem! Just refused to experiment and use Gems as batteries! And the whole war is silly! I don't want to fight with anyone, especially not with my sisters! Not to mention it is pretty hard to fight against the Gems. But Loyal Gems are...are... look, when I reformed, the laboratory was full of strange monsters! Then a Fire Opal came and blasted everyth ing! He was NOT a Rebel. Not a Crystal Gem at least, he was a force of destruction! A teribble weapon of mass fiery destruction! And he was not alone... I saw a Smoky Quartz behind him! He called the Opal "Chip!"

She hugged herself and looked away

"My sister was shattered by a Smoky Quartz executor... she did nothing wrong, just... just questioned some orders. So I panicked... and ran. As fast as I could. I guess... I guess this makes me a Rebel too"

Yellow agate shook his head witgh a sigh

"But what future do I have as a Crystal Gem? Any Gem? what will happen Light... with us? With Earth? Fighting with the Diamonds just hurt their ego and worsen the situation! Or at least I think it will... What do you think Light? Or... or... or why do you fight?"

[Forge Master Para]

Sometime after sending the letter the door reopened, the sound of footsteps echoing in until eventually Para was seen entering through the entrance. In her hands she seemed to be holding a paper bag full of various items, though she seemed a tad distressed, "I rushed back as soon as I received your message Light, though you know I have a communicator, yes? You could have-" she stopped as soon as she saw the Yellow Agate was actually within the room, "Ah, where are my manners. Hello dear, I am Para. What brings you here today?" Her eyes looked the Agate up and down, noting their Diamond insignia.

Moving across the room Para set down the bag and stood next to Light to reassure him, "I trust she has been treating you well Light?" The look she gave the Yellow Agate suggested that had she been less than friendly then there would be trouble.

[Light]

"Woah! Wait! I only said we are rebels! Who said we are making weapons for Crystal Gems? We can also make weapons for well... gems that are alone and need something to protect themself! It is true... yes... but you act like you knew me. How did you get here anyway?"

The information about Chip and Morion kinda worried him. He had no idea they did such a think. Light always thought that Chip was well... a hero or something.
Suddenly Agate started to talk about her past. They just met, why was she doing this. He nearly cried when he heard the part about her sister

"I am sorry but..."

Agate started asking for hard things "I have no idea what will happen in a future, even Sapphires can't be sure. There are too many options. Why do I fight...?" 

Light was a shy person and seeing someone new asking for so many things and acting so weird made him a little bit uncomfortable. Luckly someone came in... Lady Para!

"Lady Para! It is great to see you again! How was she treating me? That is kinda complicated. I don't know."

[Morion]

"Light.... Light.... Light? LIGHT!!! Calm dawn"

Yellow Agate smiled gently

"You going to poof from stress! "

But what Light said was... interresting
Very interesting
Then Para arrived

"Please don't hurt them, okay? They belive in something. Something great...."

The voice of Demetry whispered in her head
Something stupid, beloved! They are just prolonging this war and...

"I was like them, remember?"

And look whats happened with you?! Dead. Betrayed. Shattered... or bubbled and a prisoner! But you would fight to the end... never would let them to capture you!"

"There is always hope you grumpy old Quartz! Thabitha belived in the peace. "

And you are not. Or not really. But you was always rebellious...

"Like them... like you!"

The ghost of the Jasper hugged her, of course only she could see him
But Demetry was right. Okay, Morion knew Demetry was just a part of his fractured, a bit insane mind, but still, it was good to know, he is with him. Even if that was a lie to himself. But was way better, than accept the loss.

"You must be Padparadascha. It is nice to meet you!"

The Yellow Agate smiled shyly

"Light was a great host! Truth to be told I think I am his prisoner."

She admited with a smile

"He told me, he is a Rebel, and you too... and you are making weapons for Gems in need. But if I understanted right, you two are not really Crystal Gems. Sorry, Light was a bit nervous, it was hard to understand him. Sorry Light"

Agate looked to the Pearl and apologized
But turned back to ther Artisan

"I am Yellow Agate, science officer of the Kindergarten in Facet Nine"

She explained

"I was attacked by my own Peridot, when I refused to let her to experiment and use our Pearls to power the weapons and shiled of the laboratory, to defend ourselves. She poofed me and bubbled me. The facility was full of strange monsters when I reformed, mutants or... or I dont know what, maybe shard drones, but they were horrible, I think my Peridot went insane and continnued her experiment on the shards and remains of my late team. One of them must popped my Bubble, I think it was an accident. I was reformed in the middle of an attack; a Fire Opal and his... and his... partner? Master? I don't know, a Smoky Quartz, attacked the Laboratory and... I was so afraid of them, and my crazy Peridot... I... used the chaos and escaped and ran as far as I could"

She admited quietly

"I guess I will not win the "Loyal of the Month" award..."

Yellow agathe looked away with embarrassment

"It was dumb luck I have found this place... I have heard rumors. And followed them... aaaand... uhm... Light music led me here. Your deffense system must be offline, I guess?"

[Forge Master Para]

Immediately warning signs were flashing, namely from how this new gem seemed to talk. 'you two are not really Crystal Gems' That alone was reminiscent of something Morion was adamant about. Initially she was willing to write it off as simple coincidence, but then there was the fact that she had an altercation with him. Things were starting to get far too convenient for her tastes, she was very aware Morion was not above dirty tactics such as sending a spy to learn things from them. Or it could even be him, he was a fan of shapeshifting after all...

Still, she wasn't willing to jump to a conclusion just yet. On the off chance this was indeed an innocent gem looking for help she didn't want to scare them off, "Interesting seeing an agate, there have been very few thus far. I am sorry to hear about the unfortunate events that led up to you coming here, but at least it allowed you to find us. Gem shard experiments... dreadful indeed. You did well in trying to stop their efforts. Hopefully we can help you in whatever way you need." Another red flag, the mention of gem experiments as power sources. Yet another odd convenience, one she had difficulty simply marking off as coincidence.

She was willing to play this game though, "Defense systems? What makes you think we have such need for one? This is a peaceful place, meant for helping save gems not a fortress."

[Light]

Weird gem by yelling at Light just made him feel more uncomfortable. Something was really wrong about this gem. However Light knew that he might sometimes... overreact. So she was probably a good gem and he was just seeing something that don't exist. "Yes I did poof from stress before. But that doesn't mean it will happen now."

"Wait... Whaaaa? I just told you we are rebels like you. I never told you in what exactly team we are. Why do you say that we are not really Crystal Gems?"


Light stood behind Para, he was always afraid of meeting new people and this one was super weird. He was hoping that Padparadsha know what she is doing. He had no idea what to do with that person.

[Morion]

"Sorry, I taught, since you said you and Padparadascha made weapons for any Gem in need, you are not part of the Crystal Gem movement. After all, it takes more, I guess, to be a Crystal Gem, not just altering your uniform to wear a star sign..."

She bowed her head with respect

"Please, accept my appology, I never ment to offend you. Just misunderstood your words."

Then the Yellow Agate looked around

"Every Gem facility have a deffense system Lady Padparadascha. And the Crystal Gems enemies are numerous. Not counting the other Gems, the "Loyals", there are those who are angry to be forced to live on this planet, I have the misfortune and met Gems who are claied to be Rebeles, yet non of them had a Star on their uniform! My Peridot went insane, so I guess some other Gem's mnind craced from the sudden situation on Earth; sorry Pearl, don't take this personally, but back Home I have seen Pearls who had to be poofed, becasue they can't handle their Master's loss... while Padparadascha and me are ... err.... superior... uhm.... no, lets say, uhm... strobnger, yeah, thats better, we are stronger than a lowly Bishmuth or a Ruby or a Pearl..."

She looked away

"Sorry, It is hard to not to be so... so... conceited. To see Gems from other cast as an equal. I will try this again, okay?"

Yellow Agate took a deep breath

"So what I tried to say, it is hard to stay sane, when you are stranded on a planet in a situation like this, and like my Peridot, I guess some Gems went insane, morderous beasts. So the Crystal Gems have to worry about them too. Then there are the Monsters! On my way here, I had to fight with them or hide from them! "

She explained

"Beacasue these factors I was very surprised there is not deffense system here! And I think it is more than your base, this is your home, in the middle of a very hostile territory! I understand you make things to help Gems, and I think it is very noble! But if every Crystal Gem think like you "this is a peacful place and..." then your... our fight against the "evil" Gems will be very short and bloody. "

Yellow Agate warned them

"But I understand, I am a stranger, without any star on my uniform, I even have my Diamond insignia. But I didn't wanted to start with a lie. I am not a Rebel! Just.. ended up on the opposite side of Homeworld. To be honest, this whole situation is strange and frightening... and I have the foggiest idea, what will hapen, what the future holds for me, how to be a... not Loyal? I can't go back, and I don't know if I want to go back or not? I am... lost and confused..."

She sat down, and burried her face in her hand

"And afraid. Scared beyond immagination..."

The Agate admited quietly, not looking to the other two Gems
After all, she was an Agate, it was hard to admit these things

"I don't know what to do"
