Name:
Hematite, or Ema to those who know her well.
Appeared Gender:
Female
Appeared Age:
17-20
Gemstone:
Hematite
Gemstone Location:
On stomach
Faction:
Factionless (Will join crystal gems once she learns more about the rebellion)
Corrupted:
No
Appearance:
Personality:
Hematite could be described as emotionless. More often then not her face will be blank without emotion. She can get emotional it's just very rare. Even when upset it'd be more common for her to not show anything. Her expressions would be more stone faced, and blank. It's the same when she's happy. The best way for her to express her emotions is to physically be touchy. If she's happy she may cling onto the arms of strangers, or hold hands. When feeling threatened she may hide behind someone. If angry she avoids being touched, or touching others entirely. Things like these are the best way to read her emotion.
It's common for Hematite to ask questions. She has a childish sense of wonder. Anything she finds new, and interesting she will ask about. If she can't ask about it she may try to find a book, or any other means of finding out about new things.
Her character can be very questionable at times. She's not good at understanding personal property, or the concept of money. If she's hungry she may just take food. If she's thirsty she may just take a drink. To explain it simply if she wants something she will take it unless forced not to. Other than this trait Hematite could be described as a good person.
The few times Hematite does get worked up she will be very emotional until she has time to calm down. Not many things can work up Hematite. Though she may dislike quite a few things, she rarely get's worked up about them.
Hematite is very outspoken. She may accidentally offend, or be rude without even realizing it. Since she's not very emotional herself someone elses emotions are hard to comprehend. She doesn't wish to hurt others, but she may do so without realizing. This is also a way to help read her emotions. She may straight out tell someone she doesn't like them, or tell someone she does like them. She's not one to hide how she feels, though it's hard to interpret how she's feeling when she isn't outright saying how she feels.
Hematite doesn't love battle, in fact she fears it. Most Hematites were made to fight, but she was able to avoid this by helping with battle strategies. She was taught how to fight, and can fight rather well; something about fighting makes her want to run, and hide. She can't handle the pressure. The only chance she'd fight is as a last defense if she thought she was in real danger.
This is kind of irrelevant, but her voice is a soft quiet voice. If talked over she could easily not be heard. Try to think of it similiar to blue pearls voice from the show.

Weapon:
Hematites weapon is a parasol. It looks extremely similiar to this except the shaft to hold is would be made out of her gem, and the end is a sharp point instead of being rounded, and dull.
Ability 1:
Drill
Drill is a special form of her umbrella. When she uses this ability, the canopy of the parasol fades off. The metal spikes used to hold the canopy then expand, and connect to form a shape similiar to a drill bit, but larger. She is able to drill through everything, except actual gems. When activating the drill she will appear to be pushing a button on the shaft, and then the drill bit will starts spinning at extreme speed. If it ends up hitting an actual gem, not the light form the gem projects but an actual gem, it could shatter.
(Like this, but there's a shaft to hold it.)
Ability 2:
Float
When she has her parasol equipped she basically can float similar to Marry Poppins. If she doesn't feel like being up right when floating she can turn the parasol upside down, and sit in it like a boat.... But you know in the air. If the canvas of the parasol is torn, or broken in any way she can't float until she equips a undamaged parasol.
Fusions:
None so far.
History:
Her history is rather simple. She was once a general type on homeworld. Except she would never actually go into battle. She was simply a strategist. She served homeworld for quite a long time before being sent to a planet named earth to help them since a rebellion was starting to break out. Although, once she reached the moon base she was sent into battle due to the lack of gems to fight. She knew she could fight as she had been taught how to, but she was terrified to actually fight, and ran once the order was given. She was then considered a rebel herself, and not welcomed among homeworld gems.

- 'Helping' corrupted gems. By this I mean she liked to poof them. She feels they are in some type of misery because they are unaware of thier actions, and unable to control themselves.
- Reading, whether it's simply a story or information Ursala can't resist a good book.
- Holding Hands, She rarely means it romantically. It's just her way of showing someone she likes them since she doesn't express her emotions very well.
- Being with other people. She can get lonely quite easily, and it's hard to be lonely with others.
- Emotional People, because Hematite is not very emotional herself she enjoys surrounding herself with lively people to keep things interesting.
- Sensless voilence, she hates anyone being voilent without reason. Even worse is when people get seriously hurt because of it.
- Watching fights, she's always afriad she'll end up getting sucked into it some how.
- Anything water related, it's just not very fun.
Fears:
- Fighting gives her an overwheling sense of fear, and she either freezes up, or just runs away entirely.
- Becoming corrupted. She never wants to be out of control like them. Not only is it against her morals, but who would to exsist for the sole purpose of getting angry, and fighting anything in your path.
