Prasiolite
Appeared Gender: Female
Appeared Age: 28
Gemstone: Prasiolite
Gemstone Location: Left Ankle
Faction: Crystal gems/Anti-homeworld
Corrupted: No
Appearance: (Her new outfit post joining the crystal gems)
(Extra notes: Prasiolite is 8ft tall, and her gem is a faceted square cut.)
Personality:
Prasiolite is a very determined gem, and will stop at nothing to see her mission through. She will not hesitate to complete any task to the best of her ability, and is very concerned about how her missions get completed. Since she’s a demolition gem, Prasiolite enjoys smashing her way through things in any way she can. Usually she breaks her way through objects with her weapon, but she’s not opposed to using brute strength. One thing Prasiolite dislikes, however, is being alone. She’s been with others throughout her whole life, so when she’s alone Prasiolite doesn’t know what to do with herself and is pretty awkward. This dislike of being alone means she’s sometimes clingy and won’t leave unless the other person does first.
Just because she’s a demolition gem doesn’t mean she won't fight you - actually, she likes to fight from time to time; it’s something fun and different from destruction. Prasiolite can also get passionate about certain topics. If you disrespect something she feels strongly about, then she becomes angry and impulsive. This may be a weakness, too, since she is usually easier to defeat when in an unfocused state. Finally, Prasiolite is very observant of her surroundings, which means that she may notice the slightest change that someone else may miss. This is also rather good for her purpose, too, as it allows her to complete her work to the best of it’s ability.

Weapon:
Prasiolite’s weapon is rather strange compared to most gems, however it’s not so unusual for Prasiolite gems to possess this weapon. Her weapon in question is a screwdriver. As you’d expect, her unconventional weapon has many uses, including helping her complete demolition work since she can smash things using the head of the screwdriver or unscrew screws that keep buildings together. Her weapon can also be useful in combat, as she can bludgeon, stab or block with it.
Another strange quirk about Prasiolite’s weapon is that, unlike most gems, she can make her weapon smaller or bigger depending on what is needed. If a small screw needs a small screwdriver, then she can summon it small. However, if a wall needs demolishing or ramming then Prasiolite can summon a large variant of her weapon and crumble it to dust.
(Her weapon)
Ability 1:
As stated earlier, Prasiolite can change the size of her weapon. Obviously, this has it’s limits. Prasiolite can summon her weapon up to it being 10ft long. Any attempts to summon it any larger than this have failed.
Ability 2:
Prasiolite’s second ability allows her to cause a 6ft wide earthquake near to her feet. This earthquake is not nearly powerful enough to cause any huge damage, but it can knock an opponent off of their feet or cause trees, rocks and unstable buildings to topple onto someone. Prasiolite can only activate this ability once every few hours (Once or twice a thread, depending on the length of it and if there are any timeskips), as it is simply far too draining for her to activate regularly. When this ability is activated, Prasiolite slams the ground with either one of her feet or the head of her weapon. As you can imagine, the ground then begins to shake in a circular radius and chaos ensues.

History:
You may already know this, but Prasiolite gems are made for the purpose of demolition. They are usually tasked with destroying buildings or clearing land for the higher-ups to do with as they wish. Our Prasiolite’s story takes place when she was instructed by her manager, a strong iris Agate, to destroy a pyramid on Homeworld over the course of a few days. Initially, things went well. Using her tricks of the trade, she was able to deconstruct the pyramid in a safe and timely manner. However, when the inhabitants - a sapphire and her two pearl servants - returned from their own escapade, things began to get dicey.
As you can imagine, a high-ranking sapphire was devastated to discover that her place of residence had almost been demolished; She certainly didn’t see it coming. She took action against Prasiolite immediately, and told her diamond - Blue Diamond - exactly what she had done. This simply got Prasiolite into even more trouble, and as she waited in her jail cell anticipating being shattered, Prasiolite began to understand why the rebels are so against homeworld. “Why would any throw me in a prison and shatter me for following orders? If anyone should be in here, it should be Agate!” she thought.
Surprisingly, Prasiolite was not in prison for too long and, along with the help of an era 1 Peridot who was imprisoned for giving her higher ups false information, was able to escape. In a sacrificial act, the Peridot gem summoned her weapon and caused enough of a distraction to allow Prasiolite to escape her cell. After that, she decided to flee the planet all together. After hearing rumors of a rebellion taking place on a planet known as earth, she stole a roaming eye ship using force and a few threats and was able to leave for good. Since she had no idea how to fly the ship, Prasiolite crash landed in a desert somewhere and has stayed there for a few years in order to lay low. If any Homeworld gems had been sent to earth after her, she decided it was best to hide from them. Now that a few years have gone by, however, she's beginning to stray away from her base of operations because she believes Homeworld has forgotten her.
