Saki watched carefully as he made the drink. Seemed simple enough. She repeated his steps to the letter and eventually she had made a cup of coffee. She raised it to her lips. She took a small sip as Sulfur did and smiled at her father.
"This is really good! Is there anything else you can teach me Dad?"
She was so excited to try all these new things. Her Dad was so cool! She looked around at the kitchen. Then she had an idea. A little joke to play on her father.
"Hey Dad can you tell me what that is?"
She pointed to a cabinet and while Sulfur looked to see what she was pointing at, she triggered a decoy and wound up outside the room. She peeked in through the door to see if he would notice the decoy taking her place.
Sulfur caught a whiff of Saki's coffee and had a few things to say about what she had done wrong... but he decided to keep it to himself. No one made a perfect cup on the first try, and she seemed proud of her work. He would tweak her abilities in coffee smithing later... after all it was her first cup, she had no way of knowing what he had done.
Sulfur bent backwards and looked at the true Saki with his head upside down. An amused smile was on his face.
"That was an impressive maneuver. For recently discovering this ability you have done well to use it, but there is an important detail you missed." Sulfur replied to her, standing up and fixing his body's position. He gestured toward the decoy. "I noticed earlier that when you would use your decoy it's expression would default to neutral. You on the other hand have a constant smile on your face. Animating the decoy would be difficult.. but it would make it impeccable. However, the way it is now it would already fool most. Also... that is my Pearl's dress, I'd prefer you put it back."
Sulfur levitated toward the true saki and landed in front of her gracefully, one foot in front of the other. "Now today I believe should be your first... dance lesson."
She nodded when he suggested that she animate the decoy. She wasn't entirely sure she could do that. The decoy was like an after image. She was a really fast gem normally. When triggering her decoy, she was moving so fast it created what could be considered a speed mirage. Just an illusion. But that didn't mean she wouldn't try! When Sulfur said that she had his Pearl's dress, she tilted her head sideways a little.
"Pearl's dress? I don't understand. I never took anything Dad. This is the dress I was made with. Do you think I should wear something different? Perhaps something closer to what you're wearing right now?"
Her father's meaning was very unclear. Then he suggested her next lesson. She beamed.
Sulfur ignored the talk about Pearl's dress, he had more important things to do. Sulfur lead Saki to the elevator. This time the trip was short, only lasting a few minutes. Once they arrived they reached a floor that looked like a nightclub. At first glance it looked like this would be Howlite's room, but at closer inspection the club had a more regal look to it. Almost as if it were a dark ballroom with dim lights. A street dancer would look unfitting in this sort of club, and so it fit Sulfur's tastes.
Sulfur silently lead Saki to a room with a multicolored dancefloor. On the walls were posters of famous singers and dancers. Among these one could find Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, and Bon Jovi. Sulfur started up an instrumental song that seemed to be of the pop genre. This song was for the purpose of dancing, and so lyrics weren't necessary.
"Alright... follow these basic steps...a foundation is built on basic and simple cornerstones." Sulfur said, starting with a grapevine and basic movements of his shoulders.
Saki tilted her head a little bit as Sulfur danced. It seemed... Fun! She repeated his steps to the best of her ability. She was having a lot of fun. Her Dad was cool. Even though she hardly knew him, she knew he was a good guy!
"This is really fun!"
She then started doing her own moves based on what Sulfur had shown her. She stepped from side to side and did a little twirl in between. Then she had an idea.
"Is there a dance that we could do together? That would be awesome!"
She started looking around at all the pictures. They were all of various humans. They must've been really important for their pictures to be here. Were they world leaders? Generals? Monarchs?
Sulfur noticed that Saki was picking up the dances quickly, well as quickly as one could expect. She did make frequent mistakes, but not any more than any rookie would make. He stared blankly as she said that dancing was fun. He considered that he probably had a similar opinion. He had thought that dancing was something that he admired from humans as Gems weren't as creative with their dances. He wondered if his admiration was the same thing as 'fun'. Saki started to improvise. It was a good sign, it meant that she could think for herself and didn't need to copy another. She would never have made it on homeworld, but that was a good thing. Sulfur didn't want any Sulfur to simply be a replica of another.
"Together... I suppose I could teach you a basic waltz." Sulfur said, walking in front of her. "Alright now, place one hand on my hip and one hand on my shoulder, then gently sway to match my movements."
Sulfur started the dance and tried to move slower than usual. He couldn't possibly teach her otherwise.

This Roleplay is a prequel to Steven Universe to an extent with some slight retconing and its own progression to the story that will turn out differently to how stuff plays out in the show. Thanks to the message by Rose Quartz several gems are rising up to protect Earth and have labelled themselves as the Crystal Gems. Others on earth are remaining aligned to Homeworld though despite the isolation of Earth from Homeworld
All gems on earth are still stranded, the communication hub is still offline and all the space warps are shattered, it has now been revealed that this is the work of Rose Quartz and her small group known as the Crystal gems. They have rebelled against Homeworld and have chosen to protect the Earth (Trapping themselves on Homeworld to keep the warps down).
Now both sides are fighting among themselves along with fighting against the 'Corruption' a virus is infecting many gems turning most of them into mindless monsters, but those with a stronger will seem to becoming something more sinister.
The Game has changed now. The question has finally been posed, are you against Homeworld or allied with them. Or do you have your own agenda that may or may not been assisted by the ‘Corruption’. Regardless the seeds have been placed down and although it is only the beginning the fight for or against Earth and the corruption has begun. The choice is yours for how it is shaped on the Original Steven Universe Roleplay Site.

*Garnet, Pearl and Rose are assumed capture on Homeworld
*Garnet,Pearl and Rose broke the space warps to delay Homeworld
*Thanks to Roses Message gems now know what the Kindergarten was used for
