A long time had passed since Titanite had been in action, so to speak. A series of events had lead him to take some time off so to speak, evade the usual drama he'd incidentally drum up with Homeworld Gems and relax in a location ironically not designed for doing so, the Sky Arena. It was late afternoon, the sun was dipping over the horizon and the sparse clouds were lazily drifting through the skies above. Titanite found himself sitting on the very edge of the arena, leaning backwards propped up only by his hands, gazing over the horizon as the sun fell below it. A satisfied sigh escaped his lips as he watched.
"What a mess... Why have I been hiding out for so long...? I can't keep doing this. I'd better get back into the swing of things." He quietly muttered to himself as his gaze remained on the horizon. He wondered what had become of those he'd met in the past, that odd Titanite he'd met up here a while back. Fire Agate, the one Homeworld Gem he'd come to share a slight respect for, both as an adversary and as an ally. And Painite, how could he forget? Nonetheless, the reminiscing couldn't linger about in his mind for long. He was a Crystal Gem, there would be something for him to do so long as the Earth was threatened by Homeworld.
A gentle breeze blew through the arena, breaking the silence that pervaded throughout as another thought came to his mind, every single time he'd come up here there would always be at least one other gem here, whether they were looking for a fight or a friendly sparring match, there was never a shortage of gems to encounter up here. He had a feeling that today would be no different, sooner or later another gem would come up here, he figured so at least. Only a matter of time.
