She gladly accepted the donut, but then put up her hand to the change, giving the gem a brimming smile. It was exciting to see how enthusiastic he could be, and Ame hoped that he would be just as impressed by the other parts of Beach City. "It's yours now-- I'll trade it for this donut," She waggled the pastry then took a bite out of it. She chew it, then her tone became more subdued as she went on,"You need that stuff to do anything with humans, so if you're staying on Earth...it will be a big deal to have a bit of cash for cab fare or something like that,"
With that, she began to think of what there was to do in a small town like Beach City. She was use to the hustle and bustle of Empire City for the most part; life took a slower pace here, and as a consequence she sometimes found herself bored. Still, for a new gem who just got here, maybe there was still some magic to be found in this little human village, "As for where we could go next, humans have events sometimes, but I haven't checked for any lately. Beach City is pretty small, so you can only really find a couple of food shops-- like this one-- and then there's Funland. It has an arcade, rides, and food too. Want to check it out?" She smiled; it was the land of fun after all, but she hoped the gem wouldn't be too put off by it if he didn't find it to be his cup of tea. Then, she paused a moment,"Sorry, I don't think I got your name?" She wasn't even sure what kind of gem he was, but she was sure that he could tell right away that she was an Amethyst. Nonetheless, she gave her own introduction,"You can call me Ame," She said, before stuffing the rest of the donut in her mouth. Ame turned, gave a wave to the guy behind the counter, and again walked to the door to open it for her new acquaintance.
