CALLING ALL GEMS: War Is On Earth's Horizon! This is merely The Calm Before the Storm!
Prepare for battle! The Crystal Gem base has been revealed to Homeworld, and it's only a matter of time before the Diamonds make their call. Will you take a stand for Earth's freedom, or for its subjugation?
This is the FIRST EVENT in the "War For Earth" Site Wide Plot Event series. Your characters will strategize in an important meeting, gathering your forces, and prepare yourselves for the war to come. Will you be ready for battle? The SECOND and THIRD events have been planned, but your contributions will be vital to the direction the Site Wide Plot takes!

Diamond Task Force Conference

You have been summoned by the brilliant and magnanimous Pink Diamond to have your educated observations heard. Only the most loyal gems will be in attendance; this is a strategic meeting you wont want to miss, as you may be in the presence of more luminosity than you ever anticipated. Pressure from the Diamond Authority continues to bare down on the Crystal Gems, but the stubborn rebels haven't given up their bid for control of Earth. How shall the Diamond's proceed in their fight against the disloyal?
'It started small, but from Earth it could be seen, movement from the sky at night, comets, stars, no, these were ships. Gems began to gather, converging on the Moonbase, gems or all different types gather into one place, soldiers, aristocrats and so on, all gather through different means, the flash of a transmission, a Pearl, Pink Diamonds' Pearl different means the same 9 words "Pink Diamond Requests your presence, this is not negotiable." '

Homeworld knows where we are, and we know they know. The only step forward is to plan our strategy in the War for Earth; will we be able to defend all that is precious to us and our human friends? Our next moves have to be coordinated if we're going to keep up with Homeworld's oppressive strategies. Crucial information has been passed to us, and we have prepared for years for the worst case scenario-- war. We have to take a stand, but how will we do it?
'The movement from above stirred actions, was it time, was it too late, like a beast the Crystal gems began to awaken. Wailing stones through out the world began to call each other, gems ran to each other, across fields, across towns. Warps activated as gems grabbed and informed their friends, their allies, their lovers, Lapis Lazulis, Aquamarines and others flew across the vast oceans, spreading the message where the warps could not. From that transmission, that message of their own, given by the voice unknown, was a order, no, a request to gather at the Crystal Temple, it was time to talk about what should come next, what will come next.'

There is tension in the air, something momentous has been growing, and you may not be able to stop it even if it gets in the way of your personal freedom. Maybe you don't have any interest in the Crystal Gems or Homeworld, but whether you like it or not the two of them are powerful forces that were fated to clash. Something big is going to happen, where will you be when it does?
'Both sides had stirred, actions from above, actions from below and those in the middle, Humans, Gems, enemies, unsure allies or those who simply had not chosen lie now in wait as the decisions were made, as the two sides talked plans, the question was now whether those trapped in the middle should speak. They were on the eve of something, was it war, was it peace, could they chose to remain neutral, or would they be forced to chose a side soon.'
